THE SAVANT WORLD RESEARCH CENTER The institute will be headed by Dr. Darold Treffert, the world’s foremost Expert on Savant Syndrome. The Savant Institute will expand on Dr. Darold’s 50 plus years of research. Savant syndrome was first described more than 100 years ago by Dr. J. Langdon Down.
