Comics are fun!
The project is devoted to the development of the students' storytelling skills while working together on creating common funny comics. Within the project, the students created comics and learned and practised new vocabulary, writing and speech patterns. They worked in international teams, did different learning activities and had fun.
Netiquette It is highly important to follow the netiquette rules while collaborating on the project: Be polite online; Respect the others’ feelings and opinions; Respect others’ privacy; Avoid using or copying images, videos or texts that are considered to be private properties; Avoid demonstrating any discrimination to those who you collaborate with and to other people; Be friendly, helpful and cooperative.

The aims of the project: - to develop the students' communicative and cooperative skills as well as their ICT skills, writing, speaking and storytelling skills; - to improve the students' vocabulary and provide them with the possibility to practise the speech patterns, vocabulary and grammar they've learnt at the school lessons; - to help children make new friends and just have fun.
The stages of the project: Stage 1: -the students provide presentations of their schools and classes; -the students provide their logos and emblems for the project; -the students create the project’s blog and website (2 months); Stage 2: -the students have first online meetings, vote for the project’s logo, exchange information about their favourite comic characters, decide on the topics and heroes for their own future comics, make international teams and take part in common learning activities (2 months);
Stage 3: -the students create their comics in international teams using different e-tools, they learn to use ICT tools, make up and present comics using the vocabulary they’ve learned in school classes within the such school topics in English as “School library”, “Mass media”, “Cinema and theatre”, “Literature”, do online learning activities and have online meetings (3 months); Stage 4: -the students write their own stories in international teams and illustrate them using the vocabulary they’ve learned in school classes within the such school topics in English as “School library”, “Mass media”, “Cinema and theatre”, “Literature”, they improve and develop their writing and ICT skills, practise new vocabulary, learn to communicate and collaborate, do online learning activities and have online meetings (3 months); Stage 5: -summarizing: creating the project’s e-book, completing the project’s website, doing the project’s evaluation (2 months).
