understanding the relief. What is the relief? The relief results from natural forces. It is the foundation of all landscape. It is the invisible that gives form to the visible. Today empty, the parking of the Potager du Roi needs some renewal. The aim of this project was to plant a tree, but why just plant a tree if we can plant many trees? The parking of The National Superior School of Landscape Architecture must be an example in terms heat ilots, to vary the plant species, while maintaining the functional aspect of parking

To carry out a project on its containment site? It starts by drawing up an inventory in order to clearly identify the problematics of the site. This land located in the Dordogne valley is gnawed by the river that passes below. The views are remarkable from the ground but some obstructed just need to be reopened to let the landscape enter in the garden.

The design of the project consisted in keeping the representative atmospheres of the Dordogne valley. The house has been reintegrated into its context with vegetated surroundings that allow a decrease in radiation on the mineral parts. Photovoltaic panels installed on the roof provide electricity for the house. The riverside of the Dordogne are reinforced by plantations.

A P L A C E I N T H E C I T Y , Workshop 2 Supervisors : Sylvie Salles, AurĂŠlien Ramos Co-directed with Margaux Demange December 2019
In order to analyse a site, you have to survey it, to live it, to feel it to understand it in the best way. This is how we can reveal it through a project approach. The Passage under the railway at Versailles is today, as its name indicates, only a crossing point. Nevertheless, by surveying and observing, a multitude of details have been revealed, as in a gallery. Many mosses, tags, lierres and ferns constitue the identity of this passage. However, passers-by do not pay attention. The heart of this place, the one that gives it life, is the skylight located between the two bridges. It is the only place where we can see the sky, receiving the sun’s rays on our skin. It is the one that makes us want to pause.

Through different models, we highlighted the strengths of each site and then we were able to exploit them in our project approaches.

in the Parc Pastré in Marseille. The surveys were used to create the documents on which we relied to produce the project outline phase. One of the highlights of this site is the incredible presence of acanthes, on which we have focused our project to create unique atmospheres and games of light. We carried out our project over 3 days at the end of the workshop.

Mapping is also a good way to understand how the landscape is created through the different layers of history. This allows you to gain height and look at the landscape in a different way to perceive things that are sometimes invisible during a survey.

This sculpture made of braided iron wire and blue wool tells the story of Levens, a village in the Mercantour. Water is an invaluable and wonderful richness because it is the symbol of life. Represented here by blue threads, she falls from the sky and runs down the slopes of the narrow streets of the village.

For this painting, I played on transparency and light to represent a landscape according to the seasons. Yellow is the only color. It is a common thread that highlights different elements of the landscape according to the seasons.

DRAWING PEOPLE TODAY
People are society. To create a place, you must meet them, understand them, know their habits. You have to draw them, before and after the project. These drawings are from series in which I try to understand people and learn to draw them. Some are cycling, some are walking their dogs, some are on their phones while some are playing football. 29 /
