MAINE AUTHORS BOOK FESTIVAL 2021

n August, we were thrilled to host our second annual Maine Authors Book Festival on our office grounds in Thomaston! Thank you to the forty-plus participating authors, the Coastal Children’s Museum, the Maine Humanities Council, musical guests Owen Marshall & Alden Robinson, the Jersey Plate Food Truck, Stone Fox Farm Creamery, our speakers Don Reimer and Jean Flahive, and the 200‑plus people who attended throughout the four-hour event. We were honored to donate a portion of the proceeds to support both the Maine Humanities Council’s Harriet P. Henry Center for the Book and the Coastal Children’s Museum. The festival featured authors from Maine Authors Publishing & Cooperative this year, but we hope to include other Maine publishers and independent authors in the future!
