DE ZETEL Just as a chair rests on four legs, the chair and table maker, De Zetel, rests on four generations. These four generations of furniture makers have been refining and sharing their expertise in chair making and wood since 1924. De Zetel is now international but continues to be firmly rooted in tradition. The relentless pursuit of quality combined with an unceasingly innovative spirit, stands out in each and every one of its designs.

The growth rings of De Zetel may not show but the durability of its beech and oak products shines through in each and every one of its creations. As an FSC and PEFC certified company, De Zetel exclusively works with wood from sustainably managed forests.

ZCREATIONS Z-Creations is the division within De Zetel focused on creating seating for the hotel and catering industry and for individual projects. This important and demanding segment of the market can reap myriad benefits from the company’s decades of craftsmanship and for this reason, Z-Creations collaborates with hand-picked creative talent for product and interior design.

Alongside annually launching a selection of new products, Z-Creations has also emerged as an innovative project partner and a point of reference for the trade and designers. The “Z” refers to Gerrit Rietveld’s zig-zag chair and is a metaphor for the thought process behind creating equilibrium between functionality, aesthetics and price.

LUC VINCENT The Brussels designer Luc Vincent cannot be pigeonholed into one particular discipline. He designs furniture, lighting and accessories but is also an interior designer and set designer as well as an art director. Luc Vincent studied at La Cambre and worked as a designer and art director with renowned international architects such as Ricardo Bofill, Jean Nouvel and Jacob & MacFarlane,

and his name is also associated with Belgian firms such as Modular, Obumex and Bulo. It was under his artistic direction that the Jules Wabbes collection experienced a successful revival.

INGRID The Ingrid chair by designer Luc Vincent is reminiscent of a beautiful Danish blonde. The light-coloured wood base evokes a slender athletic form which is muscular without looking burly. Similarly to the Cup Cup collection, Luc Vincent has selected a range of different colours for the backrest.

The Ingrid chair and the Ingrid chair with armrests are both available in a stackable design, and stools are also an option. This simple sophisticated chair is a classic in the making.
