As Make-up Designory enters its twentieth year of operation, MUD New York begins its Twelfth. Our New York school started in a SoHo loft and today is located downtown in an area once dominated by fi nancial companies. In fact, MUD New York occupies an entire fl oor in the historic American Express building. In recent years, however, the downtown economy has diversifi ed. The area is home to schools, retailers, restaurants, magazine publishers, and an increasing number of new residents. Downtown has become yet another vibrant New York neighborhood.

Like the L.A. campus, the New York school offers classes in beauty, hairstyling for the make-up artist, portfolio and business development, character make-up, and special make-up effects. The classes can be taken individually or by program. If you’re interested ... classes in beauty, in beauty and fashion, the Fashion Program includes character make-up, classes in beauty make-up, hair, and portfolio. To learn and special make-up make-up for fi lm and television, you can enroll in the effects... Multimedia Program, which adds a class in character and prosthetic application. The Master Program includes everything the Multimedia and Fashion programs offer plus a lab course in special make-up effects.
