Christos Tsiolkas is a novelist, playwright, essayist, and film reviewer. His theatrical works include the collaborations Who’s Afraid of the Working Class?, Fever, Non Parlo di Salo, and Anthem. His first novel Loaded was made into the film Head On and many of his works have been adapted for the screen and the stage. His latest novel is Damascus.
Dan writes plays for families, young people, and adults. Recent credits include Turbine (Malthouse Theatre), Air Race (Arena Theatre Company), Merciless Gods (Little Ones Theatre), Bambert’s Book of Lost Stories (Barking Gecko Theatre Company), Jurassica (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre), and with Amelia Chandos Evans Cut Snake, and Mad as a Cute Snake. Dan was an inaugural writer in residence at Melbourne Theatre Company as a part of the NEXT STAGE program, and is currently under commission from Barking Gecko Theatre, Malthouse Theatre, and Melbourne Theatre Company.
Stephen Nicolazzo is a theatre director and maker. Recent credits include Merciless Gods (Griffin Theatre Company/ Arts Centre Melbourne), Daddy (Arts Centre Melbourne/Arts House/ YIRRAMBOI Festival), and Abigail’s Party (Melbourne Theatre Company). Stephen has also directed Meme Girls, Salome (Malthouse Theatre), The Happy Prince (Griffin Theatre Company), The Moors, Suddenly Last Summer (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre), Dracula, and Psycho Beach Party (Theatre Works). He has won a Green Room Award for Best Director, and his shows have received 10 Green Room Awards and 33 nominations. He has won a Sydney Theatre Award and been nominated for six, including Best Director. Stephen was also a participant of the Lincoln Center Theater’s Directors Lab in NYC.
Roy Joseph is a graduate of the coveted Acting program at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He honed his skills in theatre with roles in Three Sisters, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, and The Diary of Anne Frank. Since graduating, Roy has enjoyed the opportunity to explore his work on the screen in Back in Very Small Business (ABC/ Gristmill), and more recently, the hit series Five Bedrooms (Channel 10). Loaded marks his professional theatre debut.

KATIE SFETKIDIS DESIGN & CREATION OF VISUAL CONTENT & VIDEO EDITING Katie Sfetkidis is a lighting designer and artist who has worked extensively in theatre and contemporary experimental performance for almost 15 years across Australia and internationally. Malthouse Theatre credits include Meme Girls, Atomic, and Calpurnia Descending. Katie has also been the lighting designer on Daddy (Joel Bray), Exit Strategies, The Director (Aphids), Merciless Gods, The Happy Prince, The Nightingale and the Rose (Little Ones Theatre), Abigail’s Party (Melbourne Theatre Company), Monty Python’s Spamalot (One Eyed Man Productions), Lysa and the Freeborn Dames (La Boite), Apokalypsis (Charles Purcell & Zak Pidd), Suddenly Last Summer, and The Moors (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre). Katie is the recipient of a Green Room Award for her design for Meme Girls. She is currently the Feminist Emissary for the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre.

Eugyeene is a theatre-maker and designer across theatre, dance, and opera. Select Malthouse Theatre credits include Blaque Showgirls, Meme Girls, A Social Service, and Atomic. Eugyeene has also designed Endgame, Straight White Men, Hungry Ghosts, Abigail’s Party, Working with Children (Melbourne Theatre Company), and Titus Andronicus (Bell Shakespeare). His designs for Little Ones Theatre include The Happy Prince, Merciless Gods (Griffin Theatre Company/Arts Centre Melbourne), Dracula, and Dangerous Liaisons (MTC NEON). Other recent credits include Melbourne Festival’s Lady Eats Apple (Back to Back Theatre), Book of Exodus Part II (Fraught Outfit), Exil, The Howling Girls (Sydney Chamber Opera/Tokyo Festival), The Seen and Unseen (Asia TOPA), and Shanghai Mimi (Sydney Festival). Eugyeene has received a Green Room Award and three Sydney Theatre Award nominations. He is also the recipient of the Keith and Elisabeth Murdoch Fellowship and has completed Malthouse Theatre’s Besen Family Artist Program.
Daniel is a composer, sound designer, and multiinstrumentalist. He has performed with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, Sabine Meyer, Mikko Franck, and many others. He has written and recorded multiple albums and has worked extensively as a session player and programmer. Daniel has scored and designed numerous films, games, ads, and plays for companies including Arts Centre Melbourne, Little Ones Theatre, Melbourne Theatre Company, Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, and Sport for Jove Theatre. Select theatre credits include Abigail’s Party, Disgraced (Melbourne Theatre Company), Merciless Gods, The Happy Prince, The Nightingale and the Rose, Dracula, Dangerous Liaisons (Little Ones Theatre), Uncle Vanya, Oil, Ulster American, Right Now, The Honey Bees, The Antipodes, The Way Out, The Moors, Suddenly Last Summer (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre), Sorting Out Rachel, e-baby (Ensemble Theatre), and Ear to the Edge of Time (Sport for Jove Theatre). He has also worked for Western Edge Youth Arts as a sound designer and mentor.
