A NOTE FROM THE WRITER, DIRECTOR & PERFORMER
KIM NOBLE: SOME QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Have you been to an interesting event lately, or seen something that has made you think differently?
Kim Noble is an award-winning artist who works across comedy, film, art and theatre. He has also starred in TV Shows like The Mighty Boosh, Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy and Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace. He worked undercover at B&Q but now has a legitimate cleaning job. He might write a book. Who inspires you at the moment?
What are you reading or listening to at the moment?
This guy came up to me on the tube and said a really nice thing to me. He was called Ben.
I was pretending to read Goethe’s, The Sorrow of Young Werther, on the bus and in cafés to impress the ladies. But the title is quite small on the front cover so I’m not sure people really noticed.

I was due to go to a Mindfulness day workshop last Friday on dealing with Depression & Anxiety, but it got cancelled at the last minute due to lack of interest. In a way I suppose that’s a good thing, but I still haven’t got my refund.

THE REAL AND IMAGINED HISTORY OF THE ELEPHANT MAN 4 – 27 AUG The team behind Malthouse Theatre’s Picnic at Hanging Rock reunite to create a poignant new work that uncovers empathy in a world that rejects difference.
CARAVAN 5 – 22 OCT For years a mother and her daughter have lived together in a dilapidated caravan full of faded dreams. They have nowhere else to go. Bitter and hilarious, tender and toxic, Caravan is a darkly comic look at life in the margins and the universal need for love.
BLACK RIDER: THE CASTING OF THE MAGIC BULLETS 15 SEP – 8 OCT An all star cast dances with the devil in a theatrical fantasia that is equal parts vaudeville and opera. Paul Capsis, Le Gateau Chocolat, Meow Meow and more star in this Malthouse Theatre, Victorian Opera co-production.

SCENE & HEARD
For the London season of You’re Not Alone, Kim was going to give away a bit of taxidermy to each audience member. They ended up moving away from that idea…
