January might be a confuse time; it’s the first month of the year and we’re still on vacation mode even though we have to start working again. But now that it’s gone, it’s time to change our mindset and get things straight with ourselves.

Our goals for the year have been thought and may be even written down, but nothing really just come for us – manifestation might be great, but it doesn’t work by itself. That’s why we must go after our dreams and ambitions, because to dream without actually acting is just to think about something. And we’re bigger than this.
If January wasn’t your month for any reason, start the year now, it’s okay. Make February great and big for you. Create new projects and have new ideas, the year is still just getting started.

Who ever said looking sexy should comprise your comfort? These days, that we’re still matching our lockdow habits with our old “normal” life, we're all looking for comfort even when we want to dress up. And sice we’re looking for hot casual outfit ideas and comfy but sexy outfits, the best we can do is find the best ways to make it happen while looking stylish. The Covid-19 situation will likely be under control again soon, but fashion will continue to be shaped by the experience of this big crisis for a very long time ahead, and for that re ason our new wardrobe must be comfortable and appear well-dressed at the same time - new garments may have to be developed for this purpose. People will demand more exuberant and body-hugging fashion for going out, while still loking for cozy outfits for the day.
It’s time to dress up
BUT MAKE IT COMFORTABLE
For a more sensual approach on the conforta ble-yeat-sexy-look, silhouettes are slim, sophi sticated and necklines are plunging. Cut-outs –one of the favorites for the year - showcase the body and the dramatic looks are inspired by the club nights of the 70s and 80s. Glamorous party dresses, mini skirts and asymmetrical tops with glitter, sequins and leather shine into the dark ness of the night.
These contrasting trends between being super sexy and wanting to stay comfortable are reflected in in the latest runways and social media posts, which show us that the post-pandemic fashion will not be gradual, but instead will be either-or: either consistently day-to-day, or consistently exuberant.
The look for Fall 2022 season is casual yet per fectly coordinated in tonal layering. Sweatpants become more tailored and overall women's pants remain wide. Surface texture is shown through ribbed two-piece tops and pants, as well as long all-over knit dresses. As in previous seasons, knits remain chunky and rustic, oversi zed and voluminous, hairy and fluffy. Hairy bags and flat boots complement this quiet and sen sual look that allow you to go straight from work to the next happy-hour.
Softness meeting rawness is the principle that lie the outfits we have already seen. Here, unconventio nal brightness and lightness meet monochromatic colourways. Tonal layered looks are given depth thro ugh chunky knits, a material with a structure to touch and feel, bringing that pop of attention to a neutral look. Fashion for Fall-Winter 22/23 invites you to stay cozy in the clo ud coat without quilting; the puffer jacket in short and neutral colours is also indispensable now. Another core product is the sleeveless coat, wrapping around the body with a wide silhouette that brings contrast to the outfit.

another hit for the year, keep that in mind. Bla zer are crisp with shoulders that are extremely emphasised. Another somewhat casual form of sensual look are tunics and capes, combined with flowing pants.
For the chilli weather of winter, the silho uettes of the coats are wide and flared, the puffer jackets are fitted. Long wrap coats and short blouson jackets in dark shades of fake fur or animal print are combined with tight leather pants, shiny leggings or slim dresses. Legs are flaunted even more with high heels and over-the-knee boots –
Folk motifs and streetwear garments also come together for a unique look. A patchwork of dif

Lacquer is indispensable as a statement material for jackets and pants. Oversi ze vests and hoodies in are inspired by winter sports and offer protection and style at the same time – great for the cold. Geometric patterns on shiny viscose skirts and knit sweaters are also borrowed from art deco; a futuristic nuance is brought in by loud colours. The colourful turtleneck sweater in jersey or rib-knit represents one of the essential pieces for look, as does the pink blazer or statement boots.
The point is, there are so many ways to make the com fortable and sexy look happen! And now is the perfect time to try them all – and even some even more different things, the sky real ly is the limit – whi le discovering what works best for you.
For a more casual but very statement look, we should rely on bold colours and clean, minimal shapes. Something like a futuristic form of art deco meeting sport swear, that we all started using a few se asons ago and just couldn’t let go. Deep colours emerge in bicolour looks. Lemon yellow, bright red and apple green lend fresh appeal to classic coats with drop ped shoulders.
ferent fabrics and textures and surfaces in colo urblocking constitute the essence of another way to look great while jumping on the trend. Nylon, knits, wool and paddings are used to create de constructed garments, often inspired by college life – the preppy style is going to be even bigger this year. Ribbons, pins and emblems comple ment the colourful blazers and jackets. Pleated skirts come in both mini and midi, but I do think the mini-skirts are making a huge comeback now, so don’t lose the opportunity to wear them again.
Checks on wool blazers, overshirts and fringed skirts carry a hint of the 70s and vintage nostalgia, something that the fashion pack loves. Coarse knitted sweaters or a preppy sweater also com pliment the look, as do coarse boots, sneakers and loafers with a high platform and bold frame stitching. Denim pants are also a big go-to piece,
and they are wider, more colourful and, at their best, look handcrafted.

Whether it comes in big gestures, like bullying and name-calling, or disguised as “jokes”, racism is violent. It is always aggressive and has the only purpose to oppress people. And that is something we can no longer tolerate.
As we live in a world where people are being discriminated and even murdered for their skin color and genetic features, it is our mission to try to make life a little less scary.
Racism goes against everything we believe here in MALVIE
