So even though this feeling can cause a lot of anxiety and, sometimes, makes life a little bit harder to live, we have to know that there’s no use in feeling bad for things we can’t change.

I’ve been struggling with a lot of things lately, but the truth is they can all be summed up to one thing: I can’t control everything.

But we can’t control how other people receive our energy, we can’t control how other people see us and we can’t control how we’re perceived. Every thing we do or say is getting filtered by all the things people are getting through at the time. And that’s not about us.

All we can do is keep on doing our thing, doing what we love and giving the best possible energy to everyone around us – it does comes back to us, even better than it left.

Mental health it’s been a topic of discussion for a while, but now that fashion is starting to enter the conversation, some implica tions could happen. Fashion is one of the most universal things people consume, and while it might seem superficial, fashion is a powerful way of addressing mental health issues. Lots of people put much focus fa shion figures as well as their clothing, for getting that there is some link between the fashions displayed and the health of the pe ople. Perhaps the key question here is: does fashion changes people’s health or does the health of the people changes fashion?

MentalFashionHealth&

there are not particular cultures that influ ence health; rather these are their designate fashions that constitute the health paths ad opted by individuals. In most instances, it is believed that the average model should be approximately six feet tall and has a weight of approximately 130 pounds. Most women make use of this as a standard gauge for body health. Comparing themselves to mo dels, they attempt to shed their weight as they consider themselves overweight. This is not always the desirable health measure standard and women find themselves living unhealthy lives in order to fit this idealized meaning of health. However, it is not just the women whose health is affected by fashion. Men also have their ideals. More often than not, men want to be shaped accordingly and fit into clothing they see their stars wearing. Often disparities in health and weight cau se self-esteem problems especially when people find that they do not match an ideal body size as well as shape. All these impact the overall health of people which defines the link between fashion and health, both mental and physical.

HOW ARE THEY CONNECTED

It cannot be denied that fashion is a crucial element in dictating how people manage their health and what society needs to ask is: is it justifiable for one to alter his or her he alth in order to conform to fashion ideals? As much it is possible to alter one’s weight, and hence health to conform to fashion; when this is done in an unhealthy manner, there is a likelihood of negative repercussions. It

To begin with, plenty of people find them selves having to strictly care for their health in order to fit the fashion world. Today, many people spend lots of time in the gym in order to do so. Mostly, people intent to conform to the fashions of their choice, so they make adjustments to their health habits either by changing their diets or by engaging them selves in exercises and in extremis, even ta king pills. Generally, various factors dictate how one’s body image is perceived, such as the mass media, peer groups, ethnic bac kground as well as the family values, all of which are traceable to fashion associated with these groups.

While there is no such thing as an ideal or even a perfect body, humans strive to con form to standards of body health and to deem aligned to their fashion preferences at the same time. While different standards and norms are linked to various cultures,

Not everyone can fit a given fashion, and that’s fine, because fashion sense and style should be something unique that makes one feel good, not the opposite. However, the ran ge of fashions is extensive and basically one cannot lack a fashion that conforms to their standards of health. As much as fashion af fects health, experts in the area need to be at hand to advise the clients on the health reper cussion of trying to conform to certain fashion standards. While there are various ways to ad dress mental health, fashion is one powerful universal art form to do so. The world could use a little more optimism and improvements in addressing mental health, and style can be one way to get there.

the risks of using unhealthy means in order to fit specific idealized fashion ideas.

would rather be advised to follow healthy guidelines and have the fashion conform to the individual’s physique. Unhealthy means of losing weight always have side effects and should be avoided.

In conclusion, it will be important to re iterate that fashion is part and parcel of society and as such, a person planning health-related issues must put it into consideration. Society cannot continue to live in the idealized scenario where fashion conforms to the health of indivi duals. The truth is that people are now changing their health to conform to so ciety. This intertwinement or rather re ciprocate influence is one that must put health practitioners on notice. Aware ness needs to be put in place to explain

Whether it comes in big gestures, like bullying and name-calling, or disguised as “jokes”, racism is violent. It is always aggressive and has the only purpose to oppress people. And that is something we can no longer tolerate.

As we live in a world where people are being discriminated and even murdered for their skin color and genetic features, it is our mission to try to make life a little less scary.

Racism goes against everything we believe here in MALVIE

We know it will take time for us to make big chang es with worldwide im pacts, but we can try and start somewhere. That’s why we created MALVIE Noir, a special edition des tined to empower people of color and make their voices heard through the art. Also, in the immedi ate term, we are donating proceeds to a black led or ganizations that fights ra cial injustice.

You deserve to be respected and appreciated for who you are, and nobody has the right or the power to say otherwise.

We know we cannot change everything on our own, but we are doing our best to help in any way possible and to show our support in the making of a society in which everyone is safe, respected and gets ev ery opportunity they deserve. You are not alone!
