1. Fringe in the Hills

Fringe in the Hills (formerly Stirling Fringe) will see a buzz of Fringe excitement return to the lush lawns of the Coventry Library at Stirling from 15-21 April with theatre, live music, comedy and magic while Lobethal will have its own dedicated program of music, magic, cabaret and family friendly activations.

2. Adelaide Strikers April School Holiday Program

Kids experience fun skill building cricket games while learning about healthy habits. Every child gets a go at all the different games and all participants get to make their own backyard swing ball. This format is perfect for kids new to cricket or still developing the fundamental skills of the game

3. Kite Festival Adelaide

Head along to Semaphore beach over the Easter long weekend in 2022 and watch the sky fill with colour, twists and twirls, kites of all shapes and size – when the Adelaide International Kite Festival returns!

4. National Railway Museum, Bub’s Birthday Celebrations

Celebrate Bub, the National Railway Museum’s little blue steam engine’s birthday on Sunday 24 April 2022. The family friendly day will include train rides and lots of entertainment including Cool 4 Kids song and dance, Carnival Barrel Organ and a CFS Fire Tender Display. Children under 8 years old will also receive a free birthday gift on the day.

5. Skyline Ferris Wheel Glenelg

The ever popular Skyline Ferris Wheel is still turning at Glenelg, but not for much longer. Take in the breathtaking views of Glenelg in one of their comfortable gondolas, but hurry before she’s gone.

It’s here! The Wild is Calling… The doors to Monarto Safari Park’s new Visitor Centre opened in March giving guests a wild welcome and even wilder experiences to come. This state-of-the-art building includes a large cafe with indoor and outdoor dining, a play space, a brand-new retail shop, and improved parking and accessibility. Breathe in the 2. fresh air, stretch your legs and explore the open plains of Monarto Safari Park and its abundant flora and fauna. With 12kms of walking trails between the new Visitor Centre and their animal viewing platforms, you can walk the entire trail or combine a walk with the bus. Monarto is home to over 500 animals, so get moving!

7. Easter at Sophie’s Patch

Easter at Sophie’s Patch has become a tradition thousands of South Australians, and many interstate visitors have come to enjoy. 2022 will be particularly special as it will be the 15th open garden at Sophie’s Patch.
