Advert reflection We chose to create an advert that matches our product. The advert follows a girl and a boy who are both taking part in sweat ­ inducing activities. In the advert we used shot reverse shot to show the girl and boy both working out in the gym with background music (eye of the tiger). We chose “Eye of the tiger” because it very famous and is often associated with exercising, mainly boxing but I believe it's still as effective. The advert was filmed to show a problem they both have so we can come up with a solution which was our product. The advert was light hearted and humorous at times, just to make it a bit more entertaining to watch. The humorous parts were when the two actors discovered they smell,this the problem they had and the solution we came up with was our unisex spray.The actors were teenagers because that was our main target audience.We also filmed our advert in the college gym to set the scene in a way. As a lot of students go to gym and we used the college gym to emphasise the target audience. In my advert, I put the separate footage of each actor after each other whilst they were exercising to show that it is for both boys and girls. I also used text to speak directly to the audience and I used the text as a way to subtly add my logo to my advert.

Sound is very important in adverts as it completely change the tone/mood of the advert.

Taking this into account, when the problem is introduced I used a scratched record sound. This also helped transition into the next track and scene where there is a solution to the problem that was just introduced. I used a happy pop track to show that all is now perfect thanks to our product. Lastly I ended the advert with a white out and then faded my logo in. If i was to do my dvert again I would have a more shots including the product with the logo on the front and maybe have more of a story with acting features.
