This mound forms the fin of a shark.
Design esquisse
This mound forms the head of a crocodile
This mound forms the head of a hippo
Space dug underground
This mound forms a turtle.
Infilled concrete with blue pinprick lighting system on ceiling– gives the illusion of stars under night sky when lit in dark.
This esquisse plays around with levels of ground plane and there is a theme incorporated within the seemingly random rise and drops of earth mound – underwater creatures. This play area designed for children of 3-12 years of age is made entirely out of earth mound, with infilled concrete in some areas to allow children to comfortably seat themselves. There is a hierarchy in height and size of the various mounds and their placement. This play area is designed for children to talk, relax and play around.
