‘If fashion were a song, colour would be the beat.’ – Fran Keenan, Saks

Letter FROM THE EDITOR
Color is the first thing people notice about us, and its impact is immediate and long-lasting. When creating this report, we are looking for the unique and inspiration through different stories. For each palette, the colors have a sense of contrast, but also keep a sense of unity. For Fall/ Winter 2018, we have found the top color themes that are leading the current trend and fashion of the time. The first story is Frosted Pastel, and the inspiration came from interior design and architecture from the south showing a refreshing pastel. In the second story, Mid-tones, the inspiration came from wooden furniture. This palette is richer and heavier. The third is called Southern Town, which is brighter and more colorful. The last story is Midnight Phantom which creates a sense of mystique Manfei Li
