About Us Rotaract Club of Capital City New Delhi (RCCND) is a community based Rotaract Club under RID 3012 established with an aim to continuously undertake social projects in order to help the underprivileged. Established 5 years ago, the club has gained a number of achievements indicating the activeness and zeal of its members. i) The Club Received Platinum Club Status by RID 3012 and Rotary International. ii) Best Community Club in Zone-3, year 2018-19. iii) Many members awarded by Rotaract District Organization and are currently working with them. Through the years since the inception, RCCND has undertaken many projects/events in different avenues to address all that was needed to be brought to limelight.

Thalassemia Awareness Month
Thalassemia Awareness Month RCCND organised an online awareness programme on a genetic disorder, “Thalassemia� in July. In this online programme, the people were made aware of what is Thalassemia, its types, symptoms and harmful effects. There was also a video of our Club Trainer, Dr. Nitin Dhar talking about the preventive measures that should be taken by the parents.
Cover Letter Workshop
Cover Letter Workshop RCCND organised a Resume/CV and Cover Letter Workshop on 7th July, 2019 which was conducted by Mr. Rajat Sharma, Corporate faculty, TCS at Neeraj Study Circle, Vivek Vihar. It was attended by both Rotaractors as well as Non-Rotaractors and was a very interactive session where students learned a lot.

Awareness Drive on Save Water
Save Water In the month of July, 2019 RCCND organised an ‘Online Awareness Drive to Save Water’. Through various videos and pictures on the social pages, the members tried to raise concern among all the viewers about the water crisis happening all around the world and also told about different preventive measures that should be adopted by them.
Project Sahara
Project Sahara During the Assam flood disaster, RCCND in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Youth Leaders, organised “Project Sahara” which was a donation drive for the victims of Assam Flood Relief. With the help of Rotaract Club of Indirapuram Parivaar these clubs were successful in collecting huge fund and other relief materials.

Cleanliness Drive
Cleanliness Drive On 28th July, 2019 RCCND in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Physiotherapy Scholars organised a Cleanliness Drive at Laxmi Nagar Metro Station and nearby areas to make the people aware of the importance of keeping the environment clean.
Meeting for Installation Ceremony Meeting for organising Club Installation Ceremony Nothing is better than a dedicated team! Members of RCCND left no stones unturned and burned the midnight oil for executing an amazing Installation Ceremony. The meeting was conducted in order to divide responsibilities amongst the members, thereby facilitating a smooth execution of the entire Installation Ceremony.

Installation Ceremony On 3rd August, 2019 RCCND organised Prarambh, the Installation Ceremony of President Rtr. Vipul Maheshwari and his team at Hotel Bluestone, Kaushambhi. The two long term projects for the year 2019-20, Sangiene and Veerangana were also announced by the President.

Orientation Training Session An orientation and training session was conducted by President Rtr. Vipul Maheshwari & club trainer Rtr. Nitin Dhar on 3rd August 2019. It strengthened the members and their competences by making them well aware about Rotaract.

VRIDHA SAHYOG The members of our club along with the members of RSP paid a visit to the Shashiraj Foundation Old Age Home on 17th August, 2019 under its community service project “VRIDHA SAHYOG”. The aim of this project is to enhance the quality of life of the old aged people.

Letter Head Exchange On 17th of August, 2019 we proudly exchanged its official letterhead with Rtr. Rasel Mia of Rotaract Club of Sylhet Green Buds, RID-3282, Bangladesh and hoped to establish great bond between the two clubs.

Career in Digital Marketing Skill Circle collaborated with RCCND to promote their Mega Event on Digital Marketing across RCCND’s platforms. The collaboration turned into a fruitful association with the Skill Circle team and the event was attended by Rotaractors as well as Non-Rotaractors.

International Literacy Day
International Literacy Day Our club along with the Rotaract Club of Islamabad, RID 3282 celebrated the 54th International Literacy Day on 8th September 2019 with the children of Jhilmil Slum, promoting the importance of education in everyone’s life and it was thoroughly enjoyed by the students of the slum.

World Clean Up Day
World Clean Up Day RID 3012 in collaboration with RSAMDIO celebrated the World Clean-Up Day on 21st September 2019 in partnership with Pramanit Foundation. Our club was the Youth Partner and to celebrate this day we held a Cleanliness Drive on the streets of Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad and promoted awareness regarding cleaner and greener surroundings.

1. Sangiene Menstruation has always been surrounded by taboos and myths and such taboos not only impacts the emotional state, lifestyle of a girl/woman but also has an adverse effect on health. Realising the need of our society, we launched the long term Community Service Project, Sangiene, to promote menstrual hygiene, create a culture that welcomes healthy discussion and break the taboos prevalent in the society.
1. Red Dot Challenge With taboos comes the lack of awareness. Most people refrain from openly talking about periods, hence, team RCCND encouraged people to take part in the Red Dot Challenge to break the silence on the topic and to promote menstrual hygiene.

Project Sangiene : Session 1 An awareness generation session on Menstrual Hygiene was organised which was majorly based on the importance of Sanitary Napkins and how to overcome the Menstrual Cramps, under one of its major projects of this year “Project Sangiene� on 31st of August 2019 at Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Civil Lines.

3. #MyFirstPeriod Team RCCND started a campaign ‘#MyFirstPeriod’ under its long term community service project ‘Sangiene’, wherein the girls/women were asked to share their experience when they first got their periods using video/content in order to break the ice on menstruation, thereby educating teenagers about the same.

Project Jhilmil 1. Survey & Friendship Day Celebration
Survey A survey of children living in Jhilmil Slum area was conducted by Rotaractors from Zone 4 under ‘Project Jhilmil’, to kick start the education drive. The form was filled by 168 Children, followed by Friendship Day celebration and Food distribution drive.
2. Stationary Distribution
stationary distribution On 1st September, 2019, Project Jhilmil, an education drive for the children of Jhilmil Slum, was commenced by our and other clubs under Zone 4, RID 3012. This project began with a distribution drive wherein stationary was distributed amongst children.

Installation Ceremony
Installation Ceremony On 10th July, 2019 board members of our club attended the Installation Ceremony of our Parent Club, Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi. At the Installation Ceremony, the Rotary Club’s Board was introduced and our club members had a fructiferous conversation with district dignatories and newly appointed board members.
Health Check-Up Camp
Health Check-Up Camp A free health check-up camp was organised by Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi Along with Max Hospital at Pacific and EDM Mall on 1st August 2019. RCCND was associated as the youth partner of the camp. The event turned out to be successful and benefited 280 people.

Health Check-Up Camp A free health checkup camp was organised on 15th September 2019 by Rotary Club of Capital city New Delhi and Max Hospital, Patparganj at Pacific Mall, Sahibabad. We were affiliated as the youth partner of the camp. More than 100 people from all walks of life were tested by a group of certified doctors.
World Heart Day
Zumba session On the occasion of World Heart Day, 28th September, 2019, our club attended the “Zumba Session� by Cult Fit Team and a talk on healthy lifestyle by Max specialists.The session was attended by 120 plus participants and it was an amazing experience for everyone.

Thalassemia Awareness Program & Presentation for District Funding District organised a ‘Thalassemia Awareness Program’ on 6th July 2019, wherein Rtr. Sudhanshu donated blood and Rtr. Sahil Wadhawan was pinned as Thalassemia Ambassador, followed by a presentation by President Rtr. Vipul Maheshwari on our long-term Community Service Project ‘Veerangna’ for District Funding.

Installation Ceremony INNAYAT Our Club attended ‘INNAYAT’, District Installation Ceremony of PHF DRR Rtr. Mudita Khurana and her team on 14th July 2019 at Shubh Nimantran Banquets. Rtr. Uday Maheshwari was pinned as the Ryla Chair, Rtr. Ayush Vij as District Director of Community Services and Rtr. Nitin Dhar as District Rotaract Secretary. Club Secretary Rtr. District Movie Screening MISSION MANGAL Rotaract District 3012 organised movie screening on 18th August 2019 at Fun Cinema, Pitampura. Rotaract Club of Capital City New Delhi along with other clubs of the district watched the movie ‘Mission Mangal’. It was an amazing experience to watch India reach the Mars.
District Excursion to Jim Corbett
District Excursion District Excursion to Jim Corbett National Park was organized in the month of September which was attended by 65 plus members. It was an amazing trip of 2 nights 3 days which created new bonds and fellowships among the members.

Rotaract Premier League Rotaract District Organization 3011 partnered with Rotaract District Organization 3012, 3070, 3080 and 3090 on 27-28-29 September 2019, for Rotaract Premiere League 3.0. It was 3 day cricket tournament, organised in Gurgaon, wherein 12 Rotaractors represented RID 3012. It turned out to be an amazing event as well as experience for everyone.
District Orientation
District orientation On 29th September 2019, District Orientation was organised by the Rotaract District 3012 for the new members of all the clubs at JKG International School, Indirapuram. In the event, the members were briefed about Rotary International, Rotaract, Interact its functions and aims. It was a fun and informative event with various interactive sessions.
