ArtGr 698 Map story

Fistly, when I start create my map, I was thinking create a map about gardens. I decided to chose Beijing city map as the base map and put tracing paper on it. Trying to trace all roads and all gardens I have been visited. After I done that map, I realized the map did not convey much information about my story or myself, I really want to make a map based on my life experience, although the experience is only 23 years long. The most familiar garden jump into my mind, that is Shu Mu Park, near my home.

I don't remember the first scene I entered the Shu Mu Park. I don't know how was Shu Mu Park was built. Ever since I was born, it's in there. When I was a little girl, I was playing with my friends here. Picking berry, hide and seek, played all kinds of things we thought funny until the sun set. There were lush green trees, one by one;; bushes stood one after another;; variety of fruit exuded rich fruity smell. After so many years, all things have never changed. I still clearly remember I was lying in a hammock, idly watching the sky, surrounded by chirrup, peacefully. In the summer, I prefer to stay there, because there is naturally cool. Scorching night, we will open the windows let fresh cool air lunged. It is more pleasant than air conditioner. Especially at night, when it is silent, we may occasionally hear an owl cuckoo chirping. This feeling is like being in wonderland general appeals to the imagination.

After the 2008 repair, Shu Mu Park has a pretty new face. Dirt roads became paved roads;; vegetation have been fully restored. As the de-­ cades passed, the irrigation system has no changes. Irrigation system was designed to use the underground water. Even now, the water is safe to drink.

When I was little, I went there to play;; after grew up, it became to take a walk. In 2009, my family kept a Schnauzer called Black Q, then, the purpose of going to Shu Mu Park became walk the dog. Shu Mu Park has a circular path, circle itself. I like to walk along the pathway, generally three or four laps to go. Sometimes with black Q, sometimes with mom or dad walks in the Shu Mu Park. Later, with my boyfriend walks and chats. In the spring breeze, I take a walk with my mother after dinner, feel comfortable. In the summer drizzle, with my boyfriend, we walked slowly;; listening to the sound of the rhythm of the rain. In autumn with fallen leaves, I enjoy the genial sunshine. In the snow, walk with my father along with black Q, warm in heart.

Maybe a little selfish, but I hope Shu Mu Park belongs to me. Also to my family and friends, I do not want to share here with any strangers.It carries all the memories of my childhood to adulthood: Happiness, funny, interesting and even terrible, unhappy. It is an epitome of my life. I miss Shu Mu Park so much.

Fun time Mom, BlackQ with me.

I collect all old pictures together, figure out where I took it, also e-­mail my mom figure out where they took the old pictures. After that, I mark out all spots on the sketch map. Suddenly, I notice that all fun things are hide beneath the vegetation. Tree covers all my story. From the google map, I can see during the winter, path shows up and so clear to recognize all fun place. I think make a different layer map is exactly what should I do.
