Tell us Why YOU Chose Mansfield University! “I made a decision to attend [another school]. That first year was extremely hard. I felt like I didn’t have a face... just a number. By the time February 2013 came around, I woke up. I realized that I could not accept ‘good enough’ anymore. I wanted to be remembered, taught, and understood. There was one place I wanted to attend: Mansfield University. After the application process, and I was accepted, I felt like I had made the best academic decision of my life. I attended orientation weekend and completed the first few weeks of classes before I knew time had even gone by! I no longer felt sluggish, or worthless; I actually had a purpose. All of my professors are top notch, very easy to talk to, and also they are very caring. One of the best feelings of coming to Mansfield is having a name instead of a number. I have also become more involved by working in the Admissions Office, giving tours on campus, being a member of the track team, as well as many other volunteer opportunities. Mansfield is not only giving me an education, but a NAME, first and last.”
