Introduction This brand starts off as being a small 826 store in Lousiana, New Orleans. The brand, established in 2016, combines the elements of VooDoo and Mardi Gras. These are two big cultures in the city of New Orleans. The name 826 Mumbo Jumbo connects the Voodoo aspect of New Orleans. It will attract customers who are interested in buying products that are based on magic and spells. The most important part of creating a VooDoo brand 826 store is to educate the youth of New Orleans about slave cutlure in Louisiane and its connection to VooDoo. This manual will help correlate 826 Mumbo Jumbo’s visual and corporate identity. It will also help people understand how the brand is implemented on signage, products, and graphic elements. For now this store has opened its doors to New Orleans, it can do so in other cities as well. As a Voodoo nation, Lousiana will thrive with a brand like 826 Mumbo Jumbo. Our Goal and Vision: - Create a sucessful brand in New Orleans for its people - Educate people about slavery and VooDoo culture in New Orleans - Sell products that pertain to the youth and VooDoo culture - Implement our Signage across our stores in New Orleans

The first way we signify our presence is with our primary logotype. This logotype comes with two types of colors. The logo has black and yellow as the primary colors and they switch between the logos. All our signage and products include our logotype and it’s important that we have more than one variation to work with.
Minimum Size For our logo, it i s important that the minimum size of it is 4.9 picas or 0.6 inches in width and 11.7 picas which is converted to 1.95inches in length. Any smaller than this size and the logo will be difficult to distinguish.

Typography Logomark If it becomes impossible to use our regular logotype, there are also ways to implement our typographic logo with our branding. This type of logo will be good to use on banners and posters and it goes well as a horizontal form.

MUMBO JUMBO typefaces Nueva Standard Our logo uses the typeface Nueva Std for most of its branding. It is the typeface of our lettering, used in all our branding and typing in this manual. Most of the variations from this original typeface is also used. With more variations we are encouraged to play around with it.

Graphic Devices Our main form of graphic deice is a VooDoo symbol. We have implemented it in our logo by making it a part of the eyes on the brand. Not only is it part of the main logo but we also try and use it in our products and branding manual.

These emoticons represent parts of our product line. In some of our products, customers can simply buy the potion of thier choice based on the description of curses, love potions, or purification products. These emoticons are labelled on them to show branding.

Sample Product Line and Application These sample products are sold in our store and represent some of the stuff we sell as a VooDoo store.
Do not: The emoticon and logo should not be minimized on our product this makes the product difficult to identify and with a small logo the detail will not be as clear. This is failed branding.
