“We have identified 12 priority clusters, 40 police stations in the province that contribute 50% of crime statistics nationally. We will focus on these clusters and stations to ensure they cut crime by at least 50%,” said Makhura.

The FCS is one of the major success stories because of the high rate of arrests and successful prosecution of perpetrators.

Minister Zulu To Launch 22 ON SLOANE Startup Campus

The Largest Startup Campus set to open its doors in Joburg.

The highly anticipated launch of 22 ON SLOANE, Africa’s newest and biggest entrepreneurial campus, in Bryanston, Johannesburg, is music to the ears of many start-ups, entrepreneurs and inventors alike, not only in South Africa, but on the continent at large. Arguably one of the most difficult challenges facing business-minded rookies is first securing financing, followed in close second by ensuring sustainability. 22 ON SLOANE positions itself as ‘Powering the next generation of entrepreneurs’. And here’s why many entrepreneurial motivators from both the public and private sectors, are confident it can do just that - by helping to eradicate numerous challenges start-ups face on their journey to enjoy long term success. The campus offers a total 360 degree turnkey

solution to start and scale - from the initial concept all the way to sustainable commercialisation. Participants also have direct onhand access to a global and diverse team of experienced entrepreneurs, mentors, scientists, managers, CEOs and funders all under one roof to nurture and support them during every step of their journey. This includes product development, services, business models, funding opportunities and access to markets, as well as exploring and identifying new industries and opportunities in Africa. The launch of the innovative 22 ON SLOANE campus, a subsidiary of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), which takes place on Friday, November 10 will coincide with the launch of the South African Chapter of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), which is hosted by the passionate acclaimed advocate of entrepreneurialism, Lindiwe

Zulu, Minister of Small Business Development, South Africa. The Minister will be joined by various local Ministers as well as those from Nigeria and Tanzania. The Minister remains confident that working together, a vibrant and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem that would propel SMMEs to scale-up and enter into the mainstream economy through targeted support mechanisms can be created - and 22 ON SLOANE perfectly mirrors her sentiments. “My vision is to create a base where entrepreneurs can emerge with requisite skills base and support that would propel them to a higher level that would enable them to contribute to job creation and poverty eradication, whilst harnessing the values and principles of a true entrepreneur”, she explains. Limitations

2 Samuel 9: 1 And David said: Is there any one, think you, left of the house of Saul, that I may show kindness to him for Jonathan's sake?

K

ing David has promised to treat Saul’s family well for the sake of his friend Jonathan, after becoming the King of Israel he went on a search for someone from the house of Saul to whom he can show kindness, he later discovered through a report that there was one man from the house of Saul that was left, his name was Mephibosheth, but then he was crippled in both his feet. At the time there was a proverb that excluded the blind and the lame from entering the House (temple); hence it was made known to King David that Mephibosheth was lame in both his feet. This meant that Mephibosheth had limitations, he had shortfalls and imperfections. All the same King David ignored his defects, imperfections and his shortfalls and said “you’ll always eat at my table”. Now today there’s a King who’s looking for the Mephibosheth’s of our time. He is looking for the broken, those who’ve been ostracized, relegated and forgotten, not only is he going to give them a place in his kingdom, but he will heal them of their lameness in every area of their lives. Your past sins are of no importance to him, He wants you as broken, as cripple as you are; he will cleanse and heal you. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, if you can only accept him as your Lord and Saviour he will restore you and together with other saints you shall eat at the King’s table. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus I accept you as Lord and saviour of my life and I receive your healing in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen Shalom
