EDITORIAL First let me welcome you, our readers, to the New Year, let’s just hope it’s happy and safe for all of us and also allow me to welcome Richard Ritchie aboard the good ship Phenomena. Richard is a conspiracy expert par excellence and he will be contributing regular articles on various subjects that fall under that general heading. We decided to include some conspiracy theory (actually from the compelling evidence it is reasonable to conclude that some of them are considerably more that just theories) in the mix of material that appears in these pages. Anyway, the ‘Phenomena Project’ continues to progress in leaps and bounds and Steve and Don are headed quite far afield in pursuit of this and as the year progresses we will keep you up to date with that too. There are some real and possibly radical surprises in the offing as well, so keep an eye out for them as well. Overall 2016 looks like its going to be one of further development and progress for Phenomena Magazine and I look forward to being a part of that.

Skinwalker Ranch - The Story: Part 1: By Dr. Peter McCue.
This article is essentially a condensed version of a paper of mine entitled The ‘Skinwalker Ranch’: A Paranormal Hot Spot? It appeared in the October 2015 issue of the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research (pp. 201-224). Readers of this magazine may have known of cases of haunting, in which recurrent paranormal activity occurs in relatively small locations (e.g. houses) and where the manifestations (such as footsteps, apparitions, and the displacement of objects) are primarily linked with the places themselves rather than particular witnesses. More problematic is the notion of ‘window areas’ – the contention that larger geographical areas are, or have been, hot spots for anomalous phenomena. The main difficulty concerns comparative data. ‘Locality X’ might appear to be home to a disproportionate number of strange phenomena. But if we don’t know how much similar activity is occurring elsewhere, it might be impossible to say whether the frequency of unusual phenomena in Locality X is especially high. ‘Psychosocial’ factors could give a mistaken impression that an area is a hot spot. For example, if zealous local investigators highlight stories from the locality, it might seem that there’s something special about the area – that it’s the best place in the country for seeing UFOs, or that it has more haunted houses than almost anywhere else! Sensationalist media reporting and hoaxing might compound the issue. And, of course, the Internet is no guarantor of the truth: it’s as much a sewer for misinformation as an information super-highway. An interesting feature of alleged hot spot areas is that they’re often said to play host to manifestations belonging to different traditional categories. For example, as well as UFO sightings, there might be poltergeist phenomena, and encounters with strange animal-like creatures. They’re what I call ‘multiculture’ hot spots. If some areas really are home to a high incidence of such varied phenomena, it’s thought-provoking, because it challenges the separateness of the
categories, raising the possibility that the manifestations have a common source. In practice, though, it might be difficult to separate historical facts from rumour and folklore, and there might be conflicting versions of the stories. One only has to think of the controversies surrounding the
As an ‘ordinary Joe’, albeit one with an interest in UFOs and the paranormal, it’s very unlikely that I would be welcome there, since it’s private property, and is apparently patrolled by contract security personnel. PRINCIPAL SOURCES The principal sources that I’ve drawn on are:
Rendlesham Forest case, and what did or didn’t happen in the Warminster area of Wiltshire in past years. This article focuses on another such ‘messy’ case, that of a ranch in the state of Utah in the USA. It’s located about twoand-a-half miles south-west of Fort Duchesne in the north-east of the state, within an area called the Uinta Basin, which itself has something of a reputation for UFO sightings and other strange events. The property in question is known, colloquially, as the ‘Skinwalker Ranch’ and is said to cover 480 acres (three-quarters of a square mile). It lies within the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation, although I gather that the ranch itself isn’t classed as tribal land. In the lore of the Native American tribes of the south-western USA, a skinwalker is an evil witch who is able to shape-shift into different forms, such as that of a wolf or a bear. During the 1800s, there were tensions between the Ute and Navajo tribes. The Utes apparently came to believe that they’d been cursed by the Navajos. But it’s possible, of course, that there’s no fundamental connection between the reported phenomena and the area’s Native American history and folklore. In 1996, the ranch was bought by the property and aerospace tycoon Robert Bigelow, and so far as I know, he still owns it. I’ve been to Utah, but I should make it clear that I’ve not visited the ranch itself. 03

HISTORY OF THE RANCH SINCE THE 1930s Judging from Frank Salisbury’s book, it
Skinwalker Ranch - The Story: Part 1: By Dr. Peter McCue.
appears that a couple called Kenneth and Edith Myers bought the property around 1933. They started with about 160 acres, and subsequently increased their holding, by buying further parcels of land. Prior to his death in 2011, Dr Garth Myers, a former paediatric neurologist, informed Salisbury that his brother Kenneth had died in 1987, after which his (Kenneth’s) widow had remained at the ranch until about 1992. She died in 1994, whereupon Garth Myers and his sisters inherited the property, which they sold to the Sherman family. (Salisbury describes the family using the pseudonym Gorman, which Kelleher and Knapp had used in their book. However, their real name, Sherman, is now well-known in the public domain, and had, of course, already appeared in Van Eyck’s 1996 article.)
which mainly focuses on the experiences of the Sherman family and NIDS’s subsequent investigation of the ranch and surrounding area. Salisbury’s book contains a critical chapter on the case, and while accepting that the ranch has been the setting for genuinely anomalous phenomena, he challenges some of Kelleher and Knapp’s assertions. Hunt for the Skinwalker isn’t an official NIDS publication, although from information given to me by George Knapp some years ago, I gather that the organization knew of, and didn’t object to, the book’s publication. So far as I know, Knapp himself was never employed by NIDS.
their receiving prior warning, and that the Shermans found that every door in the ranch house had several heavy-duty dead bolts on both the inside and outside, that all the windows were bolted, and that there were indications that the previous owners had chained large guard dogs to both ends of the building. (Technically, the ‘previous owners’ prior to the sale of the property to the Shermans would have been Garth Myers and his sisters, but Kelleher and Knapp are no doubt referring to Kenneth and Edith Myers. It would seem that Garth Myers and his sisters owned the property only briefly, and possibly never occupied it, before it was bought by the

Shermans.) Regarding the matter of digging on the ranch, Garth informed Frank Salisbury said that the only stipulation in the real estate contract was one retaining oil rights for the sellers. He denied that there was a profusion of locks at the property, although he told Salisbury that there were small sliding locks on cupboards inside; and he denied that his late brother had ever used large guard dogs. On the other hand, regarding the matter of digging on the ranch, Charles Winn, with a property adjoining the Skinwalker Ranch, told Frank Salisbury that Kenneth Myers was “very, very fussy about where the ditch company dug a hole or you done any excavation very deep, [because] he said bad things will happen.”
Kelleher and Knapp’s book gives a rather different account of the history of the ranch prior to its acquisition by the Shermans, and I suspect that it’s inaccurate. They state, for example, that the previous owners had bought it in the 1950s, and that the property had been unoccupied for almost seven years when the new owners arrived. Admittedly, Van Eyck’s (1996) article says something very similar: “The ranch sat idle for seven years after the previous owners passed away…” Maybe Van Eyck’s article was Kelleher and Knapp’s source for the seven year figure. However, given that Garth Myers was a close relative of the former owners, I imagine that his version is more likely to be correct.
When Robert Bigelow bought the ranch from the Shermans in August 1996, he was financing the Las Vegas-based National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS), a private research organization with an interest in anomalous phenomena, which was established in 1995. It became defunct (in name, at least) in 2004. Dr Colm Kelleher, a biochemist by background, was its chief field research scientist from 1996 to 2004. However, his connection with Bigelow and involvement with the ranch didn’t end in 2004. Along with George Knapp (an investigative journalist), he co-authored the above -mentioned book, Hunt for the Skinwalker,
Garth Myers told Frank Salisbury that he’d been close to his brother and sister-inlaw, and that nothing strange happened when they were living on the ranch. Salisbury (2010, pp. 220-221) considers the possibility that Kenneth and Edith Myers refrained from telling Garth about UFO experiences, because he was sceptical about such matters. But Salisbury indicates that there’s only tenuous evidence for that: an associate of Salisbury’s, known as Junior Hicks, seemed to recall an assistant at a drugstore telling him that Edith Myers had UFO stories to tell. On the other hand, a rancher called John Garcia, with a property adjoining the Skinwalker Ranch, told Frank Salisbury and Junior Hicks about a UFO sighting that he’d had on his own land when Kenneth Myers’ widow was still living at the adjacent ranch. Garcia’s wife had seen it, too, but only fleetingly. Regarding the Shermans’ purchase of the ranch, Kelleher and Knapp’s book states that the sellers had put some very strange clauses in the property sale contract, stipulating that there was to be no digging on the land without 04
PHENOMENA DURING THE SHERMANS’ OCCUPANCY One of my main sources for this section is Kelleher and Knapp’s book Hunt for the Skinwalker. The information it gives about the Shermans’ experiences is presumably based on what the family told NIDS personnel or George Knapp. Terry Sherman was a key witness regarding many of the events mentioned in Hunt for the
Skinwalker Ranch - The Story: Part 1: By Dr. Peter McCue.
Skinwalker. But it is worth sounding a cautionary note. Frank Salisbury’s book indicates that he’d had a number of lengthy telephone conversations with Terry Sherman, who had contended that many of the things in Hunt for the Skinwalker only resembled a true account of his experiences. He said that he was unaware that a book was being written about his family’s experiences, and he said that he’d never met George Knapp, although he’d spoken to him on the phone. However, Sherman was somewhat guarded about what had occurred at the ranch. (Perhaps there was some sort of non-disclosure agreement associated with the sale of the property to Robert Bigelow in 1996.) Van Eyck’s (1996) Deseret News article stated that it took a while for the Shermans to remodel the old house and move in. It may be impossible to know whether this work had any bearing on their subsequent strange experiences, but it’s worth noting that building renovations sometimes appear to precipitate phenomena of the haunting and poltergeist type. According to Kelleher and Knapp’s book, there were indeed manifestations of the haunt and poltergeist type. For example, doors in the ranch house sometimes opened and closed with great force, and objects would go missing and then turn up somewhere unexpected. According to Van Eyck’s article, there was an occasion when Terry Sherman heard male voices, speaking an unfamiliar language. At the time, he was in a field with the family dogs. The source seemed to be about 25 feet above him, but he couldn’t see anything to account for the voices. The dogs barked and growled, and then ran off to the house. Van Eyck’s article reported that the Shermans had seen three specific types of UFO repeatedly during the preceding 15 months: a small box-like craft with a white light; a 40 -foot-long object; and a “huge ship the size of several football fields”. They’d reportedly seen a craft emitting a wavy red ray or light beam as it flew along. Additionally, according to Van Eyck, the family had seen other airborne lights, some of which had emerged from orange, circular doorways that seemed to appear in mid-air. Hunt for the Skinwalker (pp. 62-65) discusses this in more detail, but describes the manifestation somewhat differently. It states that, dozens of times, members of the Sherman family would see “unworldly orange structures” in the western sky, seemingly hovering low over some cottonwood trees about a mile away. Confusingly, though, the authors then switch to the singular, which presumably means that only one such “structure” was seen on any given occasion. The writer and researcher Christopher O’Brien explains that he visited Terry Sherman at the ranch in the summer
of 1996, shortly before NIDS acquired the property (http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=ioMYuJ8OWX4). According to O’Brien, Terry Sherman said that large apertures would open in the air in front of the house, and triangular objects would float through and shoot off smaller objects, which were refrigerator-sized. Sherman mentioned an occasion when one of the objects had struck some cottonwood trees, knocking their tops off. O’Brien saw branches scattered on the ground, but he doesn’t say whether the object that had allegedly struck the trees was of the larger or smaller type. Possibly, Sherman didn’t specify which type it was. At any rate, the three sources (Van Eyck, Kelleher and Knapp, and O’Brien) describe these events somewhat differently, so we may never know precisely what occurred. As I say, cases of this type tend to be ‘messy’! Van Eyck’s article refers to a flying light that followed Gwen Sherman’s car as she drove home from work one night. Hunt for the Skinwalker (pp. 52-54) describes what may have been the same incident. But it goes into much more detail. Furthermore, the account is much more dramatic. For example, the UFO is described as a large, black, triangular object, not simply a light, as Van Eyck describes it. Hunt for the Skinwalker mentions sightings of orb-shaped objects on the ranch, some blue, some red and some white, but it’s not clear from the book whether more than one orb was seen on any given occasion. The book describes an incident that supposedly occurred in April 1996, when three ranch dogs chased after a blue orb that appeared to be intentionally teasing them (pp. 84-86). The dogs followed it into a copse. The next day, Sherman found their incinerated remains in a clearing there, and Salisbury’s book (p. 230) notes that Junior Hicks visited the ranch shortly after the incident “and saw the circles of dead grass with their piles of ‘grease’ in the center.” (Hicks recalled seeing only two circles, but Terry Sherman confirmed to Salisbury that the incident had involved three dogs.) However, Christopher O’Brien (referenced above) questions the date given for the event. He states that he and Terry Sherman were speaking on the phone when the dogs chased after the orb, and he thinks that the incident occurred in the first week of August 1996. According to Van Eyck’s article, at one point, the Shermans discovered three circles of flattened grass in a triangular pattern. They were some 30 feet from one another, and each was about eight feet in diameter. Other strange soil impressions had been found in a nearby pasture: circles, about three feet wide and one or two feet deep, with the dirt in the middle perfectly flattened. 05
Van Eyck notes that the Shermans linked the UFO sightings with livestock losses: four of their cows had disappeared without a trace, and three others had been found dead and partially mutilated. However, on p. 90 of Hunt for the Skinwalker, Kelleher and Knapp state that “someone or something had killed or stolen fourteen registered cattle”, which is twice as many as those mentioned by Van Eyck. This discrepancy is puzzling, because the ranch was sold to Robert Bigelow just weeks after Van Eyck’s article appeared. It’s conceivable, of course, that there was a spate of incidents in those few weeks, although it’s also possible that Van Eyck, or Kelleher and Knapp, got their figures wrong, or that the Shermans varied their testimony over time. I’ve no way of knowing. At any rate, Salisbury’s book notes that neighbours also lost cattle. He states that John Garcia had several such stories to tell, including one about a calf found with all of its flesh missing, but with no teeth marks on the intact skeleton. According to Hunt for the Skinwalker (pp. 39), the Shermans encountered a very large wolf-like creature early in their occupancy. It attacked a calf. Despite being kicked, hit with a baseball bat, and then shot several times, it showed no signs of distress, and trotted away. Terry Sherman and his son allegedly followed it, eventually losing sight of the creature. But they were able to follow its tracks, until they suddenly stopped, as if the animal had vanished into thin air. However, Terry Sherman told Frank Salisbury that much of this story was based on hearsay, although he wouldn’t elaborate. According to Kelleher and Knapp (pp. 2627), just weeks after the above-mentioned incident, Gwen Sherman had another sighting of a huge wolf-like animal, and not far from it was a large, black, dog-like creature, with a head that was much too large for its body. Kelleher and Knapp (p. 224) state that the Shermans had often heard sounds of heavy machinery or metallic equipment coming from below the ground... End of Part 1: More to follow next month.

AN AIR FORCE COLONEL’S THIRTY YEAR FIGHT TO SILENCE AN AUTHENTIC UFO WHISTLE BLOWER Like many within the subject of Ufology, I have taken the time to read the fascinating account of Larry Warren in ‘Left at East Gate’. A fascinating book compiled by Larry and Peter Robbins. It is... for me.. The most significant book you could ever read on the subject of UFO encounters. The incidents that surround Rendlesham forest have left their mark on the landscape of British ufology forever. The scale of secrecy and the attempt to silence Larry Warren’s efforts to get the truth out have now become obvious and shameful. Many of our readers will recall the book ’Encounters in Rendlesham Forest’ by Nick Pope, and the seemingly deliberate attempt to discredit the work Larry and Peter had carried out, also to purposely ignore their years of research and Larry’s association with this monumental incident. Larry and Peter’s response was swift and accurate in the release of ‘Deliberate Deception - a case of disinformation in the UFO community’. An absolute ‘Must Read’. But now, an even darker twist to the tale has emerged, as Colonel Charles Halt divulges in yet more slanderous remarks against Larry Warren. The time has come to finally set the record straight once and for all... An outstanding book that left me gobsmacked! (Steve Mera PM). Now available at Amazon for just £9.65. 08

Shutting Up Shop - An Investigation by Archie Lawrie
Naturally, such a story stirred my psychic instincts and so I wrote to “Slick Service” at 5 Queen Street and asked to be granted an interview so that I, along with a fellow member of the Scottish Society for Psychical Research, could evaluate such happenings for ourselves. I received a polite reply, but not one that I had expected for I was told that the press had got matters completely wrong and that there was no such activity going on in the shop. I drew a line under the supposed case and believed that I had heard the last of such matters. You can imagine my surprise when almost three years later I got a phone call from Mrs. Huttons which informed me that not only had there really been the activity which was recorded in the press but that the activity had never halted from that day to this. Virtually every night items either moved ...or were at least picked up in some way and replaced in such a sloppy manner that their disarrangement was immediately obvious to the meticulous owners when they opened up the shop the next morning. I must now make it quite clear at this point that it was Mr. and Mrs. Huttons continuously neat and tidy attitude towards the layout of their shop that made it immediately obvious if something was out of place ...or even out of alignment for every bottle and can and packet was placed on each shelf in a very precise way ....for example, with the front of the goods being set exactly half an inch from the edge of the shelf. I saw this thorough form of tidiness for myself eventually when I was finally allowed to visit their shop for reasons of psychic investigation. The descriptions that I was getting from the family were such that I realized that there might well be something psychic behind what was taking place for no prankster would let himself in with a stolen key (or whatever) for a period of three years merely to move a bottle or two around on a shelf or to lift a neat pile of ladies’ pants and drop them in a cluttered heap on the same shelf. While it might be argued that the vibration of passing traffic could so rock the shelves that the goods could be disrupted from their initial position, the same could not be said for the movement of soft items or minor items of clothing which took place with the same frequency. It could also be argued that there was far more traffic passing the shop by day than by night so if vehicular vibration was the cause of the mystery why was the mystery confined to the night hours? In fact there was a lot more than that going on: Mrs. Huttons several times saw a small, very bent man in dark clothing out of the corner of her eyes and twice she saw the
same man quite clearly on the security camera system which monitored the front shop from the private area in the rear, (regretfully it was not a taped video system). Both times she shot out into the front shop to see who it was but, of course, there was nobody to be seen: the shop was empty. Then there was the strange compulsion that affected both husband and wife if they chose to work as late as 10.30pm on any given night. When these occasions were described to me I knew it might well be part of a psychic episode for I’d come across a similar thing before. Most late work in the shop took place just before Christmas when customers had foraged through the stock on the shelves by day causing a much needed tidy-up and replenishment by night. While this was undoubtedly tiring, the Huttons took a great personal pride in their family enterprise and were prepared to work all the hours necessary for its good standing within the community. The strange thing that they found at such times was that when 10.30pm came around they were seized by an overpowering feeling which they found almost impossible to throw off.....a feeling that they should move towards the shop door which exited to the street in front of the shop and then get out of the shop as speedily as they could. I stress that it was NOT just a feeling of being overworked and dying to get home to one’s bed. I must also impress upon my readers that there was no feeling of being “scared” of anything: there was no frightening element to all this...just an overpowering compulsion that could not be shrugged off that “now was the correct time to get out of the shop”. I asked the owners of that little shop what might take place if they denied the existence of this invisible urge and kept on working late 10
Into the night. “Oh we’ve tried that,” they replied, “But we soon found that we got a deep-seated stirring up of our solar plexus and stomach area to such a degree that we felt compelled to give up working for the night and to go home in any case. After all these years we now know the feeling and we know when to get out!” All very strange, but understandable in the end as you will soon see. I was told by the Huttons, however, that they felt that the entity (if there was one) was “on their side” and only wanted to be of help to them. They had no desire to chase him away ...only a requirement to find out who he was and what (if anything) he wanted. It was not even this business of being (mentally) pushed nightly towards the door that made them finally decide to phone me in December 2001 but the fact that when John was alone in the shop one evening some invisible person behind him gave out a horrendous cough...and right onto the back of his neck! Let me tell you that John holds a black belt in karate and anyone coughing onto the back of John’s neck is taking his life in his hands! Anyway, the ongoing suspicion that they had an invisible lodger in their shop suddenly changed from a possibility to a certainty. Another psychic adventure had begun for me. Regretfully we were unable to visit the shop until April 9th, 2002 due to very unfortunate personal circumstances, not only within my own family but also within the family of Francesca (the medium with whom I usually work). On the appointed evening I firstly picked up Francesca from the rail station and then collected a young lady called Pamela who was actively learning the ins and outs of psychic investigation techniques. (I feel it is good that young people can take an interest in such things as opposed to
Shutting Up Shop - An Investigation by Archie Lawrie
just watching the Hollywood equivalent which, in most cases, bears no similarity to the real psychic world.) We arrived at the shop at 6.30pm and were greeted by the owners and I’d like my readers to keep in mind that not only did Francesca not know where we had been heading as we drove through the picturesque Scottish countryside but she had been told nothing at all about who we were going to meet or why. You, the readers, now know about the movement of items and the images on the security camera but Francesca did not! Wishing to get straight into the business in hand, as soon as we entered the shop and introduced ourselves I asked our medium if she felt the presence of anyone at all in the premises. “I feel a woman in the general area here but I feel her moving into and out of a room that I think may be at the back of this one!” she replied with her head bowed and her eyes shut. Mrs. Huttons looked at me with dismay...she had expected to hear about a little old man with a stoop. I saw her concern and put my finger to my lips as a sign that she should not speak out aloud at that moment. Then I waved my hand a little from side to side to the owner to silently tell her that she should wait and let the information from the medium come forward to us bit by bit. ( I realized, although Mrs. Huttons did not, that the Medium’s mind was moving backwards down through the ages and that the lady she had started to describe seemed to belong to the 1930s or 40s while my (limited) psychic abilities told me that we were looking for a man from a much earlier period.) “We couldn’t get a name for this woman could we Francesca?” The lady’s head bowed again and with a bit of concentration, a name was obtained for the woman..... “Marion”.... but she made no attempt to get any further knowledge of this entity for she said that other, more important information had begun to come forward to her. (It is worth recording that we now, in fact, have knowledge of a living little girl who used to talk with “an invisible lady” in the back shop and, believe it or not, that little girl is now an elderly lady who still lives in the town! I have suggested that the Huttons attempt to meet her. Could it be that she might actually know that the “invisible lady” she used to talk with was called “Marion”?) The medium now turned towards the shop window (which was shuttered on the outside for the shop was, at that time in the evening, closed to the public). She said that she could feel a little old and very bent man coming in from the street, through the
center of the window and into the shop. Francesca said that once he had walked to a spot which, today, represented half way through the shop, he turned at rightangles and walked to the left through the shelves and into a doorway that once led to a flight of stairs that went upwards to a room which lay over the shop. I saw Mr. Huttons’ jaw drop immediately. “I just can’t believe that!” he said in amazement, “When we took over this premises there was indeed a door at that spot on the wall and with a flight of stairs beyond but I boarded it over as access to the room above was not part of the terms of the sale. In any case we needed more wallspace for our shelves.” John then went on to tell us that it was always unduly cold at that part of the shelving and as I felt that he was hinting at a psychic form of coldness I advised that we should be very careful about confusing cold caused by the proximity of the psychic world with the more usual form of cold that we humans meet on a day-today basis. Perhaps the very fact that there was a door hidden behind the shelving was enough to let in cold air in some perfectly natural way. (I, myself, have met psychic cold on only three occasions and I assure my readers that you are left in no doubt as to the suddenness and fierceness of such cold. The last time that this happened I was, by chance, filming with Francesca in a very a haunted pub in Edinburgh and we were on camera and facing each other speaking a pre-arranged dialogue. We spoke about a very irate male entity which we knew to be present in that part of the building when wham! a blast of frigid air shot between us first in one direction and just as Francesca was saying, “Wow! That him! That’s the angry man!” it shot right back between our faces again in the reverse direction....and our 11
obvious surprise was all nicely caught on camera too.) By now our medium was beginning to form a rapport with the entity and when she heard him talking about his family she asked him the family name concerned and was given the reply, “Robertson”, which is a common and traditional name in that area. (Remember, strange though it may seem, that entities often either do not know their own names or if “naughty” they sometimes decide not to give a name. Knowing that, Francesca though she’d play it cleverly and ask for the family name.) Francesca then said that she was being told very direct and personal things about both the Huttons and asked their permission to discuss such things in the presence of myself and the young lady whom we had brought with us. Mrs. Huttons said that she had no qualms about giving such information and so the medium told how the entity has seen this lady shop-owner struggling with heavy boxes to such a degree that she was having pains in her chest. Then the medium said that the entity had been genuinely worried for her health. Mrs. Huttons’ mouth opened wide with amazement and she confessed that not only was that very correct but that she had actually consulted her doctor of late about the chest pains that the lifting had caused. The medium went on to tell us that, in their family home, John was forever discussing the need for a family health diet and then it was his turn to be amazed for he said that such conversation by him was almost a daily occurrence. Those last two bits of conversation caused the reiteration of what I had been told initially, namely that the entity seemed
Shutting Up Shop - An Investigation by Archie Lawrie
friendly towards the owners of the little shop and genuinely concerned for their wellbeing. It also moved the conversation forward towards the fact that the entity sometimes moved with the pair from the shop to the house and back again...in spite of the fact that the two places are several miles apart. (may I remind readers that entities can move from place to place with people they take a fancy to. This can be a pest at times! While John was still well to the fore in the conversation, Francesca asked him if he had broken something recently and had then thrown away something useful connected with it. The man could not believe his ears for just that very afternoon he had dropped a glass vinegar dispenser with a plastic cap and the item had hit the floor cap-first so that the plastic shattered. “Knowing that a new cap would cost me as much as the item itself, if I included carriage etc, I just threw the glass container in the bin ...even although it was completely undamaged.” “Well, our Mr. Robertson (if that’s his name) has just said to me, ‘What a waste’ ” said Francesca. That understandably led to the next part of the conversation about what entities who “hang around” premises can and cannot see. I said that as far as I understood it, entities saw as much or as little as they chose: they seem to be able to be selective and to “switch on” or to “switch off” to what they choose to see or contact. That, I think, is something that human beings in general find difficult to handle! (They can also move up and down the years in a way that we cannot...except in memory. In short...entities or ghosts appear to be animated memories with remarkable abilities.) Details of the movement of objects was entered into and Mrs. Huttons assured us that it was almost a nightly phenomenon (as previously indicated) and that the entity seemed to have a secret liking for disturbing the several piles of female pants which lay neatly at the end of a shelf. “These are disturbed nightly on such a regular basis that I’ve privately wondered if our entity is, in some way, sexually perverted.” I was glad to see Francesca bow her head again and move quickly into a minor trance mode for I knew she was attempting to gauge the man’s character in this respect. She soon made her findings known to us, “The man was never married and had no female companionship of any kind during his life on earth!” We were genuinely sad at hearing about such a lack of companionship and we could then guess at why the touch of a female garment might mean so much to the entity: the little man might have led a sad and lonely life. But what did this little old man do and why was he so bent?
The clues came forward slowly and one by one after I said that I felt that when the man was alive and truly present on this site, there had been no shop here. In fact I felt that when the man had been on our earth, this area where we were standing was not just open to the elements but was a covered way into an inner courtyard for the Inn that had stood on that site for hundreds of years. Such a covered entry is called a “pend” in Scotland and often had a dwelling or at least rooms over such an entry point. Often the way up to the rooms above was via an access door build into the inner wall of the entry itself...exactly at the point where John Huttons had sealed off the doorway that he had found on purchasing the shop. Mrs. Huttons also confirmed for us that there was, indeed, an inner courtyard in the hotel to the rear of their shop but that there was no vehicular entrance to that area at the present day. Like archaeologists, psychic investigators often have to reconstruct situations from given clues and facts so using logic and details we had discovered that evening I believe that the scenario is as follows:Our “Mr. Robertson” spent all his adult years in the employ of the local inn where he had two main responsibilities ...he was a farrier (a man who puts the metal shoes onto horses feet) for he had told Francesca exactly that but he was also responsible for seeing to the security of the inn and to that end he would walk through the pend at about 10.30pm every night, pushing any wayward locals who might be hanging around the inn precincts out into the street before pulling shut the large wooden doors that shut off the inn courtyard from that street. Then, with his evening’s job well done, he would climb the stairs inside the pend and go to his rooms which, I feel sure, lay over the area that is now the Huttons’ shop. I must also record that Francesca felt that the dear little man had died of a heart attack while in the room over where their shop now is. I’m glad no one wants to throw the little old farrier out of “his” property. He’s not harming any one...quite the contrary and he’ll probably still be there shutting his gates at 10.30pm long after we’ve joined his world... Terrified staff have called in a medium over fears their shop is haunted by a gran who hates skimpy outfits. Seven workers at fashion store New Look heard mystery bangs, footsteps and whisperings. Spiritual medium Linda Helliker poured cleansing salt on the floor and tried to communicate with a prudish widow named Gladys. The strange happenings began when staff in Sidmouth, Devon, entered an unused storeroom. They discovered it used to be Gladys’ bedroom when the building was a hotel three decades ago. Shop manager Lisa Jordan said: ““That room is normally out of bounds but we had to unlock it because a health and safety visitor came to check it out. “Ever since then we’ve heard banging noises even though nobody is up there. When we’ve been in the stockroom we’ve heard footsteps coming down the stairs. We’ve even heard a strange swooshing that almost sounded like a disapproving sigh. One girl heard a whispering in her ear and she got so scared she ran into a table. Another of my girls felt someone breathing on their neck. It’s really weird and quite frightening.” Medium Linda, whose son Deej works at the store, said she felt the “energy of an elderly lady”, adding: “I think she disapproved of too many bare bellies on display.” Manager Lisa added: “Before she left, the medium asked us to put some flowers in the room as a nice gesture. “When we checked on them later the flowers were on the floor and the cup we put them in was smashed. Thankfully it’s been fairly quite since then so hopefully she’s made her peace with us. Apparently Gladys had a Yorkshire terrier - so if he we see clothes hopping around the store by themselves it’s just the dog wanting to play with us.” By Richard Smith

The Pale Prophet who visited the Americas in the first century A.D. certainly knew how to make an entrance the people would never forget. And the full story is told in what I, as the author, believe to be an exciting new book titled “The Search for the Pale Prophet in Ancient America,” published by my associate Tim Beckley's Global Communications. Beckley is now co-hosting, along with Tim R. Swartz, the podcast “Exploring the Bizarre” on the KCOR Digital Radio Network. 17
Who was the Christ like figure that walked Ancient America? - Pale Prophet or Ancient Alien?: By Sean Casteel
According to ancient native lore, when the Fair God first arrived at the Polynesian Islands it was with three ships with giant sails like enormous birds with wings uplifted, glowing goldenly in the dawn light. The people watching the events were frozen to immobility. “What manner of monsters are these with the great wings?” they asked in awe. “Perhaps they have come to devour the people!” shouted one native. Then the islanders saw something white moving toward them, apparently from the Great Birds. The white object glided easily over the water “with the rhythmical ease of a man walking.” “As the spot of white came closer,” writes anthropologist L. Taylor Hansen, “they saw in amazement that this was a Fair God, manlike in form but unlike their people. Soon they could see Him clearly, the gold of the dawn light shining around Him, making a halo of His long curling hair and beard. As He came up on the wet sand, the warriors stared in fright at His garments; they were dry. Now they knew that a god stood among them, for none but gods can walk on water!” Putting aside for the time being the idea that we’re dealing here with Jesus Christ himself, again displaying his ability to walk on water as recorded in the Christian Gospels, what we have here is a classic example of the “ancient astronauts” approach to the flying saucer mystery. A relatively primitive indigenous culture is confronted with what may be technological marvels that the natives ascribe to “gods” with abilities far beyond their comprehension. The ships with sails like huge birds with wings uplifted, for one, may be an attempt to describe a kind of flying craft that wasn’t some form of a “boat” at all. But none of the great “ancient astronauts” researchers, from Erich von Daniken to Zechariah Sitchin to Brinsley LePoer Trench, have ever covered the same territory as the late anthropologist L. Taylor Hansen, who spent decades traveling among the NativeAmericans and collecting their legends regarding the Healer, the Prophet, the Miracle Worker, God of the Dawn Light, the Wind God, the Teacher, the White-Robed Master. Although the names are different, the legends are chanted and sung the same. Very little is known about L. Taylor Hansen, who died in 1976. One thing that is known, however, is that her first name was Lucile, which she shortened to “L” so that she could pass herself off as a man, at least in literary terms. In 1918, while still a college student, she spent her summer vacation with the Chippewa Indian tribe in Michigan. According to writer Bette Stockbauer, who provides some of the scant biographical material available on Hansen, this interest was more than scholarly.

summarize and quote from Hansen’s “He Walked the Americas” as well as adding my own Biblical insights and correlations not present in the original text of Hansen’s groundbreaking work. I think perhaps Hansen felt she was writing for the more “Biblically-literate” audience of her own time, or maybe she felt that the Biblical correlations were so obvious that they didn’t need to be spelled out for the reader. In any case, I DID spell them out, and I hope it makes understanding the legends of the Pale Prophet a little easier. The more overt relationship of the legends to the Gospels will be dealt with in a separate article. TRIBAL MEMORIES OF FLYING SAUCERS
The Chippewa’s language and dances, their culture and religion, struck a richly harmonic chord in Hansen’s soul. Dark Thunder, the Chippewa chief, shared with young Hansen much of the tribal knowledge and told her of a Holy Man who had visited the tribe in long ago times. This man came to the Native Americans when their empire was united and their great cities stretched for miles. Wherever the Holy Man went, the miracles followed, and always He spoke of the Kingdom of His Father. “In this brief story,” Stockbauer writes, “Hansen sensed the germ of one much greater. That summer, a council of many tribes was called to tell the young lady the holy legends. Her own gift to the council would be a book that would preserve their words for future seekers. Thus was born ‘He Walked the Americas,’ a book pursued over two continents, during the course of 45 years.” At the Indian council meeting, Hansen was charged with the mission of recording the legends of the Pale Prophet for posterity. But in the meantime, in order to meet her expenses, she sold science fiction stories to pulp magazines, disguising herself as a man so she could succeed in a field completely dominated by the male element. In the 1940s, she was given space for a regular column in “Amazing Stories,” a sci-fi pulp magazine, to air her nonfiction views on the current state of anthropology and archeology. Ray Palmer, the magazine’s legendary editor, not only published her “Scientific Mysteries” columns, he would also eventually publish “He Walked the Americas” in 1963 through his Amherst Press company and thus is an important figure in the overall story as well. All of the foregoing is contained in “The Search for the Pale Prophet in Ancient America.” In the first section of the book, I 18
Let us now return to the “ancient astronauts” view and the aforementioned essays by Hansen. In a piece called “Tribal Memories of the Flying Saucers,” reprinted in full in the new Global Communications release, Hansen disguises herself as a Navaho Indian named Oga-Make. But the style of the writing is unmistakably her own even as she hides behind one of her known pen names, an identity that is again male along with being a pseudonymous Native American. This is the price she had to pay in the pre-feminist years of the late 1940s, when the essay was originally published. “Most of you reading this,” the essay begins, “are probably white men of a blood only a century or two out of Europe. You speak in your papers of the Flying Saucers or Mystery Ships as something new and strangely typical of the twentieth century. How could you but think otherwise? Yet if you had red skin, and were of a blood which had been born and bred of the land for untold thousands of years, you would know this is not true. “You would know,” the essay continues, “that your ancestors, living in these mountains and upon these prairies for numberless generations, had seen the ships before and had passed down the story in the legends which are the unwritten history of your people. You do not believe? Well, after all, why should you? But knowing your scornful unbelief, the storytellers of my people have closed their lips in bitterness against the outward flow of this knowledge. “Yet, I have said to the storytellers this: now that the ships are being seen again, is it wise that we, the elder race, keep our knowledge to ourselves? Thus, for me, an American Indian, some of the sages among my people have talked, and if you care to, I shall permit you to sit down with us and listen.” Oga-Make/Hansen then shifts to a dialogue with the aged chief of the Paiute tribe. The chief begins by saying: “You ask me if we had heard of the great silver

airships in the days before the white man brought his wagons into the land. We, the Paiute nation, have known of these ships for untold generations. We also believe that we know something of the people who fly them. They are called The Hav-musuvs.” The flying saucer occupants, the Havmusuvs, first came to the area in large rowing ships before the land became a dry desert. After the waters dried and the rowing ships were no longer of use to them, they created “flying canoes,” which grew to become large silver ships with wings. The Have-musuvs built a city in the nearby caverns, where they dwelt in peace and were far removed from the bloody warfare of the other local violently combative tribes. “Have you ever seen a Hav-musuv?” OgaMake/Hansen asked. “No, but we have many stories of them,” the chief replied. “There are reasons why one does not become too curious. These strange people have weapons. One is a small tube which stuns one with a prickly feeling like a rain of cactus needles. One cannot move for hours, and during this time the mysterious ones vanish up the cliffs. The other weapon is deadly. It is a long silvery tube. When this is pointed at you, death follows immediately.” The chief described the appearance of the Hav-musuvs. “They are a beautiful people,” he said. “Their skin is a golden tint, and a headband holds back their long dark hair. They dress always in a white fine-spun garment which wraps around them and is draped upon one shoulder. Pale sandals are worn upon their feet.” The chief tells a fascinating legend said to have happened many years before the coming of the Spanish. A Paiute chief lost his bride to sudden death. In his overwhelming grief, he went seeking the Havmusuvs in order that they put him out of his misery with their deadly silver tube. As the mournful chief climbed the last mountain on his quest, one of the men in white appeared suddenly before him, brandishing the silver tube and motioning the chief back. The chief made signs that he wished to die and continued onward. Then others of the Hav-musuvs appeared and decided to take the chief with them. Many weeks after his people had mourned him for dead, the Paiute chief came back to his camp. He had been in the giant underground valley of the Has-musuvs, he said, where white lights which burn day and night and never go out, or need any fuel, lit an ancient city of marble beauty. There he learned the language and history of the mysterious people, giving them in turn the language and legends of the Paiutes. He would have been content to stay among them forever in the peace and beauty of their life, but they bade him return and use
his new knowledge for the people. OgaMake/Hansen then asks the current Paiute chief if he believed the story. “I do not know,” the old man replied. “When a man is lost in Tomesha [a particularly forbidding stretch of hostile desert], and the Fire-God is walking across the salt crust, strange dreams, like clouds, fog through his mind. No man can breathe the hot breath of the Fire-God and long remain sane. This has always been a land of mystery. Nothing can change that. I must still answer your question with doubt in my mind, for we speak of a weird land. White man does not yet know it as well as the Paiutes, and we have ever held it in awe. It is still the forbidden ‘Tomesha – Land of the Flaming Earth.’” The short essay by Oga-Make/Hansen wonderfully embodies much classic “ancient astronauts” lore as well as timeless legends of a paradise hidden within the earth, which was also spoken of by the Tibetan seer T. Lobsang Rampa and many others. (Global Communications offers several of Rampa’s titles to those seeking further enlightenment on the universal legends of Shangri-La.) In any case, “The Search for the Pale Prophet in Ancient America” opens the reader to a whole new treasure trove of possible alien visitations to a land and a people long thought of as backward and savage. The Lord of Wind and Water and his civilizing influence on Native America is echoed not only in the Gospels but in the stories of ancient Sumer, Egypt and Babylon, who had uniformly credited gods from the sky with the beginnings of their organized societies. That that same helping hand also came to the ancient Americas, while generally acknowledged to be true, has never been told in quite the same way as it has by L. Taylor Hansen in “The Search for the Pale Prophet in Ancient America.” 19

Tindall Bridge has been the scene of both triumph and despair. It is a triumph of engineering and construction and yet is associated with the despair and sadness that walk hand in hand with death. Tindall Bridge: By Don Collins
Chilling tales of ghosts and bridges span the globe. Countries the world over play host to haunted locations in and around water. These areas provide fodder for many a campfire tale. Most such occurrences can be sorted into three categories: classic or residual haunts, anniversary haunts, and urban legends. Defining these haunts can be be tricky at times as some may be sorted into more than one category. For example, in Elmore, Ohio a headless ghost rider is said to drive over Mud Creek bridge every year on March 20 searching for his decapitated head. His appearance is preceeded by witnesses parking on the bridge and honking their horn and flashing their headlihts three times. This could be considered both an anniversary haunt and an urban legend. One bridge in England, among others, is the scene of what most people consider a classic haunt. Some time ago in Calstock village in southeast Cornwall, England a sister from a nunnery is said to have been beaten to death after wandering off of a path. Her ghost has often been seen by passersby waiting on the bridge. You might experience an anniversary haunt at Burgh in the English county of Norfolk. A ghostly coach driven by a headless Sir Thomas Boleyn crosses over this bridge, as well as several others nearby, once every year. The U.S. is brimming with stories of haunted bridges. The majority of these fall into the realm of urban legends or so called "cry baby" bridges. With most crybaby bridges the sound of a baby can be, or has been, heard from the bridge. Many are also accompanied by the unsubstantiated death of a baby or young child or children, usually murdered or thrown from the bridge into the river or creek below. A common "game" is to park your car on one of these sites and just walk away. When you return you may find children's handprints on your car. With all of this information in hand let's take a ride over to Tindall bridge in Ohio. Rebuilt in 1915 by the Champion Iron Company in Sandusky County this steel structure provides a crossing over the Sandusky River. The original wooden bridge along with most others in the county was destroyed by a great flood in 1913. This was one of the worst floods in the history of the area, destroying many homes and killing livestock and citizens. The current bridge is technically referred to as a riveted seven panel Pratt through truss. It has a total span of 332 feet and a width of 15.7 feet, in essence making it a one-lane bridge allowing the passage of one vehicle at a time. While smaller in span than other steel bridges, it boasts a load capacity of 25 tons. The bridge is easily located off CR 209 (Rice Street) in Balleville, Ohio, a suburb of Fremont.
So what is it that makes Tindall Bridge so infamous? In this case, the claims could be classified as a mixture of urban legend and haunt phenomena. The story goes that a child was born out of wedlock and thrown over the bridge where it met its demise. Some claim to see the spirit of the mother walking under the bridge crying as she searches for her baby. At first, you may think that this is the story of the haunt. This is not the case. For reasons we will discuss later this is actually the story of the urban legend. The ghost story for this location is that a murder victim from the 1950s roams the area beneath the bridge sobbing and asking for help or shrieking loudly. The first question that comes to mind is "What tragedies have occurred at this location that might lead to a haunting?" Actually, a few incidents have occurred here that could possibly trigger paranormal activity. Let's start with two that do not seem to be related to the haunt in question. On July 22, 1922, a forty six year old woman accidentally backed off a 20-foot embankment. The accident itself did not kill her. The official cause of death was a heart attack from the shock of the accident. In March of 1948, a thirty three year old man committed suicide beneath the bridge. Police found his body in his car after he shot himself. The gentleman's attempt to shoot himself through the chest failed. On his second attempt, the bullet found its mark right through his head. As one might imagine it was not a pretty sight. Recently it would appear that someone met their demise in an auto accident near one of the stone lots adjacent to the bridge. Throughout the years other deaths have been linked to the bridge as well. Without a doubt the most notorious event in the Fremont area, in Sandusky County, garnered plenty of media attention and remains closely linked to Tindall Bridge to this day. 24
On May 2, 1955 at 2 a.m. Sam Tannyhill, age 26, a man with a criminal record, walked into the Hut Restaurant with the intent of robbing it. He entered the restaurant but left shortly thereafter when he noticed a cab driver dining inside. Tannyhill returned |some time later and confronted the lone waitress / cook on duty, 29 year old Shirley Bradford, with a gun demanding money. Mrs. Bradford opened the cash register and gave him the night's take of $100. Things didn't end there. Tannyhill forced Shirley to leave with him, figuring she would immediately phone police. The plan was to drop her off out of town so it would take her a few hours to walk back before she could contact the authorities.
http://www.drc.state.oh.us/web/Executed/executed23.htm
Sadly, Tannyhill changed the plan. In the car, Shirley called Tannyhill by name. She knew his sister. Of course, this startled him as he was just out of prison and didn't know his sister's friends. Tannyhill idolized his sister and told Shirley no harm would come to her if she promised not to tell his sister about the robbery. Very upset and thinking she had an advantage by playing

on his soft spot Shirley refused to make any such promise. She told Tannyhill that she would tell his sister about his crime and that he was a "lousy brother". Tannyhill later told police that he took Mrs. Bradford to Tindall Bridge to "slap some sense into her". The slapping got out of hand and ended with Tannyhill beating Shirley to death with a piece of iron pipe from a car jack. This account seems to differ from his testimony at trial where he testified that Shirley got a hold of his gun and fearing that she would take the opportunity to shoot him, he picked up the car's jack from the floor and bludgeoned her with it. Police found her body near the creek the next morning. Tannyhill fled to Missouri where he was later apprehended. At trial, his attorneys opted for an insanity defense but failed and Tannyhill was sentenced to death. Sam Tannyhill went to the electric chair on November 26, 1956 at the Ohio State Penitentiary. It was a brisk day in May when Fringe Paranormal visited the bridge. We arrived in the early evening to survey the area while there was plenty of daylight to get our bearings. There is space to park on both ends of the bridge and signs warn drivers that it is a one-lane bridge. The banks around the bridge are sparsely wooded allowing access to the river for those that are careful and sure of foot. We spent much of our time at the site trying to find natural explanations for some of the claims of unusual activity. Down near the riverbank we noticed that some of the trees had a light colored bark that as it grew darker could possibly be taken for a person dressed in white. Is this a likely explanation for sightings of an apparition near the bridge? This is a matter of opinion. If a witness is in the right frame of mind and catches a glimpse of such a tree in their peripheral vision under the right environmental conditions this could be a logical supposition. Our research indicates that the bridge was white up until 2012 when it was painted the blue color that it wears today. We wonder if the white coloring of the bridge had any bearing on reports of apparitions beneath the bridge. The driving surface of the structure is grated metal, which would possibly allow reflections from above to travel down towards the river. Would headlights from a passing car reflect the white color from one of the beams down onto the water below creating the illusion of movement? It could be possible but we cannot state that with any degree of certainty. We did drive over the current blue incarnation of Tindall Bridge several times. Our witnesses down on the riverbank noticed nothing that could be mistaken as paranormal. Some time later when we

analyzed our audio and photos we did not discover anything out of the ordinary. So what did our excursion to Tindall Bridge dig up? We found nothing in the way of evidence of paranormal activity but we did turn up something interesting during the research phase of this investigation. As you recall there is a haunt and a "cry baby" sort of urban legend associated with the bridge. The haunt aspect could be possible based on the documented murder, suicide, and accidental deaths at this site. However, that leaves us with the burning question, "What about that woman who is searching for her crying baby?" That is where good research comes into play. The body of a newborn baby WAS found under a bridge. The baby was found under a Tindal bridge, but not our Tindall Bridge. There is a Tindal bridge (one "L") in Birmingham in the UK. The story goes that in September 1868: "An inquest was held this Wednesday on the death of a newly born baby boy found in the canal near Tindall Bridge two days before. A rag was tied around the throat of the child, which suggested strangulation, but there was also a wound through the neck, which would have caused severe haemorrhaging. The surgeon who performed the post-mortem suggested that the boy would have lost a lot of blood through his untied umbilical cord and further gave the opinion that the neck wound was not accidental so the jury returned a verdict of wilful murder against some person unknown." From this piece of information, we can reach the very possible conclusion that the legend of a woman crying for her baby was based on some confusion by a researcher at some point long ago. It would seem that someone mistook the same named bridge in Birmingham for the bridge in Fremont. You'll note that the plaque identifying the bridge in 25
Birmingham is spelled with one "L" while the archived story related above spells the name as "Tindall" with two "L"s thus adding to any confusion one might have while researching the bridge. Another factor that may figure into the urban legend concerns the family history of Shirley Bradford, the murder victim whose plight we related earlier. Shirley's husband abandoned her some time before the murder, but Shirley wasn't alone. She had a 10 -year-old son to care for. It's quite possible that a mish mash of the stories of the Tindal Bridge baby in the UK and the story of Shirley's murder at our Tindall Bridge also contributed to the birth of the urban legend. We are certain that the urban legend can be dispelled and that we can declassify our Tindall Bridge as a crybaby bridge. This leaves us with the alleged haunt surrounding this location.
Roadside memorial photo taken by Don Collins Fringe Paranormal Does the specter of a murder victim roam the grassy banks beneath the bridge? Maybe some other unfortunate soul remains to wander in search of something. Perhaps the only ghosts that haunt this location are the memories of woe and tragedy. Only time and persistence can uncover the truth. Until then we are left to wonder and continue our search for answers. Don Collins is a paranormalist and aspiring author living in Toledo, Ohio. The Hutchison Enigma: By Tim Bartrop
John Hutchison (born October 19, 1945) is a Canadian inventor known for claims of his inventions and also the discovery of a variety of extraordinary phenomena, which other researchers - and often Hutchison himself - have been unable to duplicate. Hutchison Effect Photograph depicting a link between Nicola Tesla’s work and Hutchison’s. Both managed to manipulate solid metals. In 1979, Hutchison claims to have discovered a number of unusual phenomena, while trying to duplicate experiments done by Nikola Tesla. He refers to several of these phenomena jointly under the name "the Hutchison Effect", including: 1. Levitation of heavy objects. 2. Fusion of dissimilar materials such as metal and wood, while lacking any displacement. 3. The anomalous heating of metals without burning adjacent material. 4. The spontaneous fracturing of metals. 5. Changes in the crystalline structure and physical properties of metals. 6. Disappearance of metal samples. Hutchison has maintained a number of websites over the years, in which he posts videos and pictures of the purported effect, including short low-quality clips of objects flying around or rising from the ground, and metallic objects moving without being touched. He has offered mail-order VHS tapes of the effect for $100 each, though videos are now sold exclusively through Gryphon Productions.
Hutchison claims that this is due to the destruction of his lab by the military, or because he has been otherwise prevented legally by the government from repeating his experiments. Canadian inventor and fringe physicist Mel Winfield says that it was solely through his theories that The Hutchison Effect came into being. He has published evidence including signed contracts, letters, and communications from John Hutchison himself.
Supporters like Mark Solis, his former webmaster, maintain that none of these effects can be the result of known physical phenomena, such as electromagnetism. Hutchison and his supporters surmise that these phenomena arise from zero-point energy or the Casimir Effect.
Military Interest According to Hutchison and United States Col. John Alexander,[6] military scientists from the United States have been working with him because of the effect's military potential. In the documentary Free Energy: The Race to Zero Point, he states that military scientists were impressed with the effects, but were not able to replicate them on their own without assistance.
It has been said that researchers at NASA and the Max Planck Institute have attempted to reproduce some of Hutchison's experiments, but that so far none has succeeded. Indeed, NASA's Marc Millis remarks that Hutchison himself appears unable to reproduce his own experiments.
Hutchison later accused the military of coercing the Canadian government into seizing his lab so that it could be passed on to Lockheed Martin Skunk Works for research purposes. Journalist and author Nick Cook later wrote that this had been confirmed by a high-ranking friend of his in the Skunk 29
Works. Boyd Bushman, retired Lockheed Martin senior engineer, later confirmed this in an interview in Nick Cook's book The Hunt for Zero Point. Hutchison claims that "at the end of the cold war" a "military intelligence service" (not otherwise specified) destroyed his lab in Vancouver while he was travelling in Europe. To support this allegation, Hutchison has presented photos of letters allegedly written by various scientific and government organizations, as well as a letter allegedly written by Hans-Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein. However, it is far from clear what relevance these letters, whose provenance is unverified, might have. One set of videos posted to an antigravity website (and later taken down) shows close -ups of a toy UFO bouncing around, and then shots of the toy gyrating wildly in the air. When it was pointed out that the movement of the toy was consistent with being supported by a string, and a moving wire or string could be seen in the video, Hutchison claimed it was a power supply. The ‘string’ was not string, but #32-gauge double polythermalized wire on a take-up

reel with 20 to 50000 volts DC. The main apparatus was turned on, causing the toy plastic UFO to fly all about in amazing gyrations. This was a pre-test to Gryphon Productions airing this fall for Fox TV. I did not need the extra high voltage 2000 time period so the toy levitated without a high voltage hook up during the filming for Gryphon there was a string on the toy no highvoltage dc but interesting movements. John Hutchison, quoted at the American Antigravity website. Hutchison later admitted to being "creative" with the footage, citing pressure from the Discovery Channel to create material for the show and an inability to legally reproduce the original effect, according to Tim Ventura of American Antigravity. In 2005, Hutchison admitted that he hadn't actually reproduced his effect since approximately 1991, though he says the earlier levitation footage from the 1980s is genuine. These videos show objects suddenly flying upwards and never coming back down, and are consistent with objects falling from an upside-down stage filmed with an upside-down video camera. Hutchison later rejected charges of fakery, and maintains that his "effect" has been demonstrated many times in the presence of scientists and, he says, members of the US Army Intelligence and Security Command. In March 2006, Hutchison states that he managed to reproduce the effect in his Ash St., New Westminster apartment for National Geographic, as well as for author Harold Berndt, whose film of the event can be found on the American Antigravity website. Scientific Opinion In a posting to the sci.physics.research newsgroup, Marc Millis, who ran the nowdefunct Breakthrough Propulsion Physics Program for NASA, wrote: This "Hutchison Effect" has been claimed for years, without any independent verification — ever. In fact, its originator can't even replicate it on demand. This has been investigated more than once, been part of documentaries on The Discovery Channel, but still never seems to pass critical muster. This is in the category of folklore. In general, the "American Antigravity" web site caters to such folklore and its enthusiasts. Marc G. Millis, Video Footage Of Antigravity? Quantum Batteries Hutchison also says that he has invented new power sources, which he calls "Crystal Energy Cells" or "Hiroshima cells". He claims they obtain zero-point energy from the quantum vacuum using the Casimir effect. In one video a battery is described by John as including Rochelle salts, gallium,
iron pyrite, and germanium. Hutchison claims that his work "explains the technology behind UFOs". These batteries have been labelled by some as ‘over-unity devices’. Mainstream physicists point out that over-unity is just another word for a perpetual-motion machine, and that zero-point energy and the Casimir effect, while legitimate scientific concepts, are often invoked by people seeking to mislead the public or tap into free energy, in defiance of the laws of thermodynamics. Media Coverage Hutchison and his claims are regularly featured and discussed in various fringe science newsletters and websites, such as: * American Antigravity * which is a fringe website devoted to antigravity claims, lifters, homemade electromagnetic weapons, etc. 30
* the UFO Resource Center, a website devoted to ufology * Space Telescopes, a website which features a mixture of writings including such topics as the Hubble observatory and the Hutchison effect * World Mysteries, one of many websites which discuss a wide range of fringe, new age, and paranormal topics. In addition, he has been profiled along with his claims in several documentaries aired on The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, National Geographic Channel (Is It Real?) and Nippon Television...

IMPORTANT NOTICE! It is fair to say, in this day and age, that the disconnect between mainstream media “reality” and what is really going on is getting to the point where many people in society are not being told the full story—about almost everything and anything. In geopolitics, we see media organisations such as Al Jazeera willing to totally fabricate events and broadcast them via BBC, CNN, ABC and other licensees. In what is needlessly called “alternative health”, we see the might of transnational drug companies steering government health policies as well as affecting personal sovereignty in the form of forced vaccinations, freedom of choice in the treatment of serious disease, and the right to be able to purchase health products of our choosing.
In explorations of “fringe sciences”, including subjects such as the Expanding Earth theory or the Electric Universe theory, we see the unexplained anomalies regarding energy, gravity, electricity and biology, being ignored, suppressed or ridiculed. I believe that it is in the open-minded exploration of such anomalies, that we actually further our scientific understanding of our universe. In discussion of consciousness and the paranormal, we again see mainstream media reporting distorted versions of events, misreporting factual data, not reporting it at all, and again, outright ridicule (snigger factor). The fact of the matter is that people want to know more about who we are as spiritual beings, about the role of consciousness in determining how we experience life, and the role our inherent beliefs have on how we live and treat other people. I believe that the vast majority of people on this planet want to live in peace and harmony with each other, and I also believe that there are forces at work, including the military-intelligence-industrial complex, that desire and profit from manufactured conflict. We live in an era where a growing number of people are stepping up to blow the whistle on illegal and suppressed information. Information they believe is in everyone’s interests to be made public. Unfortunately, despite the assurances of protection to whistleblowers from world leaders, we actually see the opposite—the suppression and persecution of such people. And finally, we live on a planet where the way in which we live is dramatically affecting the entire ecosystem. Measurable levels of chemicals are found in the air over the entire planet—in the groundwater of every continent, and in the oceans everywhere. Why is it noble to focus on CO2 and energy saving, while ignoring the death, disease and destruction of our habitat and life forms, including our own? I have created the Alternative News Project (ANP), not as a vehicle to fight the current mainstream manufactured reality, but instead to provide a vehicle for like-minded, independent thinkers, to help create something new. Something better. Instead of endless searches on the Internet, we will bring you the news, every day, right across the spectrum of hundreds of nonmainstream news Topics. We have called it a Project, as it is not just about information—it is about the building of a global community through the distribution of information. The ANP is the first time that independent thinkers of the world (i.e. you) have a centralised location not only to see more of what is going on in your world than ever before, but where you also have the opportunity to send alternative news and information from anywhere across the globe. You are the real key to our project, because by receiving information you can inform others and by contributing your knowledge to us, we can broaden our scope of services around the globe. As such, the ANP is designed to be a community-based interactive news and information project by the people for the people. Welcome aboard the ANP, and thanks for being part of the adventure. Ghost hunter reveals mystery behind poltergeist at Manchester office block
Alien discovery: New hope in hunt for Martians after year of major breakthroughs.
Office poltergeist disturbances solved by BITC Investigator Scott Mackinnon.
By David Trayner – Daily Star
By Alex Hibbert This terrifying video of paranormal activity at an office block in Manchester has mystified people across the region. The CCTV footage showed an empty office building becoming a hive of activity as chairs fly across rooms and computer screens flicker to life seemingly at random. Shadows could also be seen moving across walls and stacks of paper fly around the offices in Castlefield House on Liverpool Road. The clip was first uploaded in 2012, but is still being circulated by people on social media and by media outlets trying to discover the reason for the ghostly goings-on. But now a Manchester ghost hunter has revealed the truth behind the unnatural occurrence. Scott Mackinnon runs Phoenix Paranormal Investigation from his home in Denton. Scott, who has hunted ghosts and investigated the paranormal for more than 20 years, said: “This video, though extremely well put together, is a fake. “I did some digging into it and there’s a number of ways that you can tell it isn’t real.
Some of the scenes have clearly been edited and there’s a few different signifiers of it that wouldn’t stand out to the untrained eye dodgy time codes, tape you can see on the ceiling and sounds that have been clearly dubbed on. But it is really well done.” Scott helps his clients to identify paranormal activity at homes and businesses. He also led the first team to investigate a haunting at Albert Hall in Manchester city centre as well as at other historic buildings around the region. The CCTV footage appeared to capture the ghostly goings-on at Castlefield House. He has discovered that the footage was produced by Manchester PPI claim company Joshua Brookes ltd. Scott added: “I lead a team of psychics and those that concentrate more on the scientific aspects of the paranormal to try and discover the reason behind any unexplained occurrences or activity. “If someone is being haunted then we go to them and work out how we can help. But in this case we obviously won’t be needed.” Joshua Brookes Ltd have been contacted for a comment. To find out more about Scott's work, visit his website at www.phxiuk.co.uk.
Phenomena Project whips up a storm in the United States.
The hunt for extraterrestrial life took a giant leap forward in 2015 – including the discovery of cosmic rivers on Mars, an number of new habitable "Super Earth" planets and eerie alien signals coming a distant star. For years, theories about UFOs and little green men have been confined to sci-fi and basement cranks in tin foil hats. But NASA and many other top space boffins believe aliens are probably living on Mars RIGHT NOW – and we will find them soon. A sequence of groundbreaking revelations have sent shockwaves of excitement through the scientific community this year. The biggest was NASA's discovery of water flowing down canyons and craters on the Red Planet in September. Scientists believe the Martian waterfalls and streams are capable of supporting life – and are now racing to track it down. This spring the European Space Agency will launch a new Mars probe – which will arrive at our twin planet in late 2016 – to search for alien FARTS. Dr Lewis Dartnell, of the UK Space Agency, said: "The ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter will hopefully see where the whiffs of methane gas are seeping into the Martian atmosphere – as this could be a sign of life deep underground. "Then in 2018, the ESA will launch the ExoMars Rover, which will land on Mars to explore for signs of life. "For the first time ever, this Mars rover will have a drill – 2m long – to get underground to where the soil has been protected." Dr Dartnell – who is busy designing laser eyes for the space bot – hopes Europe traces the aliens two years before NASA's own alien hunter arrives on Mars in 2020. The research fellow – of Leicester University – said: "Perhaps there is life on Mars still alive near the surface today – which we may detect in the next few years." Astronomers have spotted a number of new "exoplanets" – planets orbiting stars other than our Sun – this year, which could provide a new homeland for humans – or aliens. Crucially, the Kepler Space Telescope has discovered one that may offer conditions suitable for life. The new world – called Kepler-452b – is thought to be a rocky "Super Earth" about 60% larger than our home world – and it orbits at the right distance from its Sun-like star. This month, two separate teams of astronomers claimed to have found a new "Super Earth" Planet X – in our own solar system. The new planet – or cold brown dwarf star – is thought to be six times as far from the Sun as Pluto – but some conspiracy theorists fear it is the fabled planet Nibiru – which is prophesied to crash into Earth by March 2016. Even more fantastically, the same Kepler telescope may have found a giant "alien megastructure" in deep space. Strange light patterns emitting from star KIC 8462852 cannot be explained by the movement of planets – leading Jason Wright – an astronomer at Penn State University – to a "swarm" of of spaceships may be casting a shadow. Dr Dartnell said: "Now, this is extremely unlikely to be the case – but it has certainly got people thinking about the subject, which has been great. "This has been an incredibly thrilling year for astrobiology."
‘Bizarre’ Two-Foot Metal Balls Fall From Space After Noise Of Thunder.
Incredible evidence in support of paranormal phenomena whips up a media frenzy in the U.S. By Multiple Sources Parapsychologist Steve Mera and Paranormal Specialist Don Philips were called out to a home in Seattle U.S. After the TV show Ghost Adventures failed to discover evidence of anything unusual going on. Keith Linder (home owner) reported having disturbances for over three years and after opening his home to Ghost Adventures he’s been on the receiving end of some bad press. The Ghost Adventures team were at the location for just 11 hours and after not
obtaining evidence, the show deemed the home owner and his partner possible hoaxers. There have even been references throughout the internet that Keith’s partner was somehow associated with dark practices. Not true says Steve Mera and Don Philips. On arrival, the first incident was noted after just ten minutes. The 6 day investigation revealed some startling evidence that was immediately released to numerous radio and newspapers whipping up a media frenzy after appearing on Fox News. The investigation continues… To find out more, check out: The Phenomena Project Facebook Page.

By Rob Waugh Three ‘bizarre objects’ fell from space over Thailand - 100lb, two-foot metal orbs made of a metal alloy. One fell on remote land in Tuyen Quang Province, and a smaller orb fell on a garden in Yen Bai Province. One local witness told Thanh Nien ,’The sky was clear, suddenly we heard a thunder-like noise.’ Similar metal orbs have fallen over Australia and Europe in recent years - with a crop of mysterious metal balls found in Spain last year. The objects weigh about 100lb each - and defence officials say that they are compressed-air tanks from an aircraft or rocket and were probably manufactured in Russia. Aerospace expert Prof Nguyen Khoa Son says that the objects may come from a satellite - either from a failed launch, or from an old satellite which failed to burn up in Earth’s atmosphere.

Soldier breaks 44-year silence over Roswell UFO incident and claims 500 military men saw UFOs.
By Ibtissem Menad In an incredible story, a former Soldier of the United States military has spoken out, for the first time ever, about what he describes as the greatest mass UFO sighing in the desert near Roswell, a place considered by many as the scene where the most famous UFO encounter ever took place. The witness, who has yet to be named spoke out about unidentified flying objects claiming that over 500 military colleagues witnessed mysterious crafts flying over the New Mexican desert. This event will remain etched in my mind until I pass. Thanks for allowing me to share this experience. – Former US army Roswell witness. The report, made to the Mutual UFO network (MUFON), the world’s officially recognized organization for recording UFO encounters is considered by many as yet another proof that backs up the numerous theories about Alien visitations to Earth. Original images released of the alleged Air Force weather balloon from 1947. The man who remains anonymous broke a 44-year old silence and spoke out to MUFON about the mass military sightings in Roswell. The man said, “the mysterious five hour-long events will haunt him until he dies.” According to the former soldier, in July 1971, he was in the US Army Air Defense Unit, stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, when his unit was ordered to perform “military maneuvers” in the New Mexico desert, west of Roswell. Roswell is considered by many as the heart of the UFO phenomenon ever since July 1947 when the military announced in a press release that they had discovered the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the desert near Roswell. However, the next day the military mysterious retracted the statement correcting it and telling the public it was in fact just a ‘damaged US Air Force air balloon’. Since the mysterious crash, numerous individuals have come forward in the last decades claiming they had seen the remains of the mysterious flying saucer and the bodies within the crashed spaceship and that the wreckage of the otherworldly craft was taken to the infamous top-secret Area 51 military base in Nevada, USA. The newest witness claims that over 500 military personals witnessed the nocturnal double UFO encounter saying: “The first object was spotted coming from the north and stopped. “Another object approached from the west. “For the next five hours, the objects made erratic moves remaining in a close area.” The ex-soldier described the otherworldly spacecraft as having a circular shape while the exact size remained a mystery since no one could calculate the exact altitude of the UFOs. The Roswell UFO incident remains as one of the greatest enigmas in modern Ufology. The witness said: “At daylight, we were ordered to a location in the desert for chow (food). “The whole unit was discussing the UFOs. “My unit had 500 plus soldiers, we were a Vulcan/chaparral air defense unit and were trained to recognize all foreign and domestic aircraft flying at that time. “The UFOs remained visible until the sun became too bright.” And added: “This event will remain etched in my mind until I pass. Thanks for allowing me to share this experience.” While this MUFON case has been tagged as unresolved, none can confirm the story behind these claims since the person is still unknown to us.
Where is everybody? Scientists say All the aliens might have died but its uncertain
By 7tales.net An 1868 newspaper article trumpeting the discovery of a giant skeleton continues to mystify the city of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Nearly 150 years ago, a report surfaced that quarry workers with the Sauk Rapids Water Power Co. unearthed the remains of a 10-foot-tall giant along the shores of the Mississippi River. The story was printed on the front page of the Sauk Rapids Sentinel on Dec. 18, 1868, under the headline, “Wonderful Discovery!” where authors touted the remains as the “largest skeleton ever found.” A few days later, the bones were nowhere to be found, rumored to have been whisked east on a late-night train and sold to the circus. So what happened to these giant bones? Were they part of a publicity scheme, or dreamed up by a local reporter? Wonderful Discovery! story: The water company employees reportedly discovered the bones while quarrying rock for a dam near the present day site of Lions Park, between the Sauk Rapids Bridge and the former bridge site. According to the story, the workers found embedded “in solid granite rock the remains of a human being of gigantic stature.” The grave — reported as being 12 feet long, 4 feet wide and 3 feet deep — was estimated to be about 2 feet below the level of the river. Atop the tomb, the report said, was a flat limestone rock that remained separate from the surrounding granite. The remains are completely petrified, and are of gigantic dimensions,” the story states. The head is massive, measures thirty-one and one-half inches in circumference, but low in theosfrontis, and very flat on top.
By Dora Spenlow Scientists have long been trying to find signs of extraterrestrial life but they kept drawing a blank thus far. Now some scientists believe that all the aliens might have died due to climate change. Writing in the journal Astrobiology, researchers from The Australian National University (ANU) say life on a fledgling planet would likely “die out due to runaway heating or cooling.” “The universe is probably filled with habitable planets, so many scientists think it should be teeming with aliens,” said Aditya Chopra from the ANU Research School of Earth Sciences and lead author on the paper. “Early life is fragile, so we believe it rarely evolves quickly enough to survive.” The main reason, says Chopra, is the lack of stability. “Most early planetary environments are unstable,” he said. “To produce a habitable planet, life forms need to regulate greenhouse gases such as water and carbon dioxide to keep surface temperatures stable.”
Examples of this are right next door. Venus and Mars could have been habitable at one point, but Venus became a “hothouse,” while Mars is a relative “icebox.” The paper’s co-author, Charley Lineweaver from the ANU Planetary Science Institute, says that any basic life on Mars or Venus could have failed to help stabilize the environment.“Life on Earth probably played a leading role in stabilizing the planet’s climate,” he said. Chopra echoed his sentiments. “The mystery of why we haven’t yet found signs of aliens may have less to do with the likelihood of the origin of life or intelligence and have more to do with the rarity of the rapid emergence of biological regulation of feedback cycles on planetary surfaces,” he said. The research also helps explain Fermi’s Paradox, which states that despite the high odds of habitable planets, we have yet to find any sign of extraterrestrial life. Researchers are calling the early extinction of life the Gaian Bottleneck.
The story offers additional dimensions, such as a 26¼-inch femur, a 25½-inch fibula and more than 59 inches for the measurement around the chest. The skeleton measured 10 feet, 9½ inches from the “crown of the head to the sole of the foot.” Reporters estimated the “giant” would have weighed at least 900 pounds “when covered with a reasonable amount of flesh.” The story also said parts of the skeleton were missing: the thumb and fingers of the left hand, as well as the left foot from the ankle to the toes. We are not sufficiently posted either in geology or ethnology to form even a conjecture; and hence we shall leave it to some one (sic) more learned than we, to solve the problem, the authors stated. The story stated the bones were in the possession of a gentleman traveling east. The unnamed gentleman supposedly sent the remains to Boston. Possibly we may hear all that can be said on the subject, by the learned in these things, in a few days hence. It is surmised by some that he will make a nice thing by selling them to some one who will exhibit them to an astonished world. The story ends on an expectant note: “If it should happen that this should turn out to be an antideluvian grave yard, the world will have food for reflection for the next century.” The reporters seemed to be convinced of the validity of the marvelous discovery. But residents of Sauk Rapids complained they were left in the dark. A story from the Dec. 25, 1868, edition of the Sauk Rapids Sentinel follows the mystery surrounding the skeleton. When the account of the wonderful discovery of the remains of a gigantic human being, which appeared in our last was penned, we were not aware that the majority of our very townspeople had not seen them,” the story states. They now complain that they were so surreptitiously taken away. Nearly 150 years later, townspeople still do not know if the story was real or merely fiction, leading to spirited debate over the veracity over the tale. Museum director Mary Ostby argued to the St. Cloud Times that the detailed reporting of the skeleton’s measurements suggest it was a true story. They couldn’t have got the details they got as a hoax,” she told the paper. Fred Joesting, who has been a volunteer at the museum for 20 years, has more of a skeptical view of the skeleton story: “I think the majority of these things are hoaxes, but there are some that are real. However, the odds are much higher that it is a hoax”. Whatever the case, the story of the Sauk Rapids skeleton has captivated the locals and researchers alike.

UFO AND PARANORMAL NEWS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
DNA Analysis of the Paracas Skulls Proves They Are Not Human
Astronomers might have just found a MASSIVE new planet in the solar system.
On the southern coast of Peru lies the desert peninsula of Paracas. This barren landscape is where Peruvian archaeologist Julio Tello made an astounding discovery in 1928. His efforts uncovered a massive and complex graveyard buried under the sand and rocks.
By Rob Waugh: Metro.co.uk
By Lilya la Felore In these tombs Tello found some of the most controversial human(?) remains in history. The bodies had the largest elongated skulls in the world and have since been called the Paracas skulls. Tello found a total of more than 300 skulls and they have been dated at around 3,000 years old. A recent DNA analysis performed on some of these skulls has presented amazing results that could challenge the current perspective of the human evolutionary tree. Several other cultures have practiced skull elongation or deformation but the techniques they used produced different results. Certain South American tribes used to bind infants’ skulls in order to change their shape. Binding the head between pieces of wood modified the appearance of skulls by applying constant pressure over a long period of time. This type of cranial deformation changed the shape but it did not alter the size, weight or cranial volume; these are all standard characteristics of a regular human skull. The Paracas skulls are different however. Since their craniums are 25% larger and 60% heavier than regular human skulls, researchers strongly believe that they couldn’t have been modified through binding. They are also structurally different and only have one parietal plate as opposed to the two normally found in human skulls.
These differences have deepened the decadeold mystery around the Paracas skulls and researchers haven’t been able to explain their origins. The director of the Paracas History Museum has sent samples from 5 skulls to undergo genetic testing. The samples consisted of hair, skin, teeth and fragments of skull bones. The genetic laboratory was not informed about the samples’ origins in order to avoid biased or influenced results. The results were fascinating. The mitochondrial DNA (inherited from the mother) presented mutations unknown to any man, primate or any other animal. The mutations suggested we are dealing with a completely new human-like being, very distant from Homo sapiens, Neanderthals or Denisovans. The Paracas individuals were so biologically different from humans they wouldn’t have been able to interbreed. “I am not sure it will even fit into the known evolutionary tree”, one geneticist added.
This breakthrough brings up more questions than it answers but counts as another piece of evidence suggesting that we are not alone.
Podesta, also a former aide in President Bill Clinton's administration, took a number of steps to promote government transparency on the issue. He spoke at a 2002 press conference calling on the US to declassify UFO records. He also wrote the foreword to the 2010 book "UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record." Counsellor to the president John Podesta outside the West Wing of the White House in Washington on Dec. 9 to highlight the importance of correct tire pressure.
Hillary Clinton's expected campaign chairman has an eclectic record that includes UFO advocacy and having to apologize for comparing Republicans to killer cultists. John Podesta, a senior White House aide, will leave his government job in February for Clinton's campaign, The Wall Street Journal recently reported. Podesta has a particular interest in unidentified flying objects and has even been labeled a "UFO advocate" for his efforts.
Top Scientist Resigns Admitting Global Warming is A Big Scam
The implications of this discovery are huge. Who were the mysterious Paracas people? Did they evolve here on Earth on a path so different from us that they ended up looking drastically different? If not, where did they come from? Are any of them left?
The Man Who Might Lead Hillary Clinton's Campaign is Really Into UFOs.

Have we actually just sighted a massive new ‘Planet X’ at the edge of our solar system? If it is, it’s about 1.5 times the size of Earth, and really far out from the sun. A team of astronomers from Sweden and Mexico claim to have discovered a previously unseen, massive object at our solar system’s edge. In something straight out of Father Ted, they’re still not sure if it’s small or far away. If it’s small, it’s probably an object smaller than Pluto, and a little further away – but it COULD be a whacking great planet out towards Alpha Centauri. In two pre-print publications, the scientists say that they saw ‘a new blackbody point source’ which appears to be moving in conjunction with the Alpha Centauri star system. The researchers write, ‘Simple arguments convince us that this object cannot be an ordinary star. ‘We argue that the object is most likely part of the solar system, in prograde motion, albeit at a distance too far to be detectable at other wavelengths.’ The object – which one of the teams named ‘Gna’ – could be a Super Earth, at a distance of about 300 astronomical units (AU) from the Sun, six times further out than Pluto. Other explanations include a brown dwarf, 20,000 AU from the Sun. Other scientists are highly sceptical of the find – and the publications have not been ‘peer reviewed’ by other scientists. Mike Brown, at Caltech, was sceptical of the claims, saying, ‘Fun fact: if it is true that ALMA accidentally discovered a massive outer solar system object in its tiny tiny tiny field of view that would suggest that there are something like 200,000 Earth sized planets in the outer solar system. Which, um, no. Even better: I just realized that this many Earth-sized planets existing would destabilize the entire solar system and we would all die.’ Some are already speculating the planet is the infamous planet Nibiru.
"As someone interested in the question of UFOs, I think I have always understood the difference between fact and fiction. I guess you could call me a curious skeptic. But I'm skeptical about many things, including the notion that government always knows best," Podesta wrote. "The time to pull the curtain back on this subject is long overdue." 37
By Sean Adl-Tabatabai Top US scientist Hal Lewis resigned from his post at the University of California after admitting that global warming was a big scam, in a shocking resignation letter. The following is a letter to the American Physical Society released to the public by Professor Emeritus of physics Hal Lewis of the University of California at Santa Barbara. When I first joined the American Physical Society sixty-seven years ago it was much smaller, much gentler, and as yet uncorrupted by the money flood (a threat against which Dwight Eisenhower warned a half-century ago). Indeed, the choice of physics as a profession was then a guarantor of a life of poverty and abstinence – it was World War II that changed all that. The prospect of worldly gain drove few physicists. As recently as thirty-five years ago, when I chaired the first APS study of a contentious social/scientific issue, The Reactor Safety Study, though there were zealots aplenty on the outside there was no hint of inordinate pressure on us as physicists. We were therefore able to produce what I believe was and is an honest appraisal of the situation at that time. We were further enabled by the presence of an oversight committee consisting of Pief Panofsky, Vicki Weisskopf, and Hans Bethe, all towering physicists beyond reproach. I was proud of what we did in a charged atmosphere. In the end the oversight committee, in its report to the APS President, noted the complete independence in which we did the job, and predicted that the report would be attacked from both sides. What greater tribute could there be? How different it is now. The giants no longer walk the earth, and the money flood has become the raison d’être of much physics research, the vital sustenance of much more, and it provides the support for untold numbers of professional jobs. For reasons that will soon become clear my former pride at being an APS Fellow all these years has been turned into shame, and I am forced, with no pleasure at all, to offer you my resignation from the Society. It is of course, the global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried APS before it like a rogue wave. It is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist. Anyone who has the faintest doubt that this is so should force himself to read the ClimateGate documents, which lay it bare. (Montford’s book organizes the facts very well.) I don’t believe that any real physicist, nay scientist, can read that stuff without revulsion. I would almost make that revulsion a definition of the word scientist. So what has the APS, as an organization, done in the face of this challenge? It has accepted the corruption as the norm, and gone along with it… I do feel the need to add one note, and this is conjecture, since it is always risky to discuss other people’s motives. This scheming at APS HQ is so bizarre that there cannot be a simple explanation for it. Some have held that the physicists of today are not as smart as they used to be, but I don’t think that is an issue. I think it is the money, exactly what Eisenhower warned about a half-century ago. There are indeed trillions of dollars involved, to say nothing of the fame and glory (and frequent trips to exotic islands) that go with being a member of the club.

Lets Talk Paranormal: By Tracie Austin
Let’s Talk Paranormal has produced many wonderful TV shows over the years with numerous unforgettable guests. Throughout 2016, LTP would like to share some of those shows with Phenomena Magazine readers in the form of a dedicated article each month. I hope you enjoy reading the first article, and will stay tuned for future ones! The Varginha Case – Live ETs Captured in Brazil With special guest Dr. Roger Leir It’s now been two decades since the famed Varginha UFO crash took place in Brazil, and the late Dr. Roger Leir was one of several investigators on this amazing case back in 1996. Dr. Leir was very well respected and known worldwide for his UFO research, and in particular the removal of suspected Alien Implants, and for more than forty years had been a successful physician in the state of California. I was delighted and honoured when my very dear and long-time friend Dr. Roger Leir joined me as guest on the Let’s Talk Paranormal TV show in our Santa Clarita, California studio to share this important and incredible story of the Varginha UFO crash, and its many revelations. I couldn’t wait to put him in the “hot seat” and to probe deeper into what happened in the small town of Minas Gerais, Varginha, home to 120,000 people, a farming town in fact known for its wonderful agricultural products such as coffee and dairy. After thanking Dr. Leir for joining me, I asked how he initially heard about this unbelievable UFO case. He told me that he had the distinct recollection of the case when it happened because, being familiar with the subject of Ufology and the many things that happen in that field, that he had heard about it right away; plus, the fact that somebody brought to his attention a kind of “tongue in cheek” article that was featured in the Wall Street Journal which read something to the effect “Stinky Aliens Land in Brazil.” But it was on the front page and succeeding pages of the newspaper, that the article became much more serious and actually told of the unfolding events. Dr. Leir explained to me that, Brazil is a country that is inundated with numerous UFO sightings and probably one of the few places in the world where you can actually pick up a tour book of Brazil and read where to go to see UFOs, and in some areas there is much more activity than others. Several weeks prior to this initial UFO crash on January 20th, 1996, many people were seeing unusual things flying around in the Brazilian skies of an unknown nature. Even after the event itself, the UFO activity didn’t cease, there was more to come. But the main event that caught attention took place on the night of January 19th. Dr. Leir pointed out that in describing this case, there is information that should be put into three important categories: There are rumours, there are facts, and there is documented testimony; and Dr. Leir’s investigation of the case had to do with looking for that one single piece of physical evidence that he could bring back to the United States and submit for analysis. He stated that although he was unable to bring physical evidence back, what he did get from the trip was some terrific testimony from the witnesses themselves, and mentioned that this case had been very well researched by many Brazilian UFO investigators, as well as a chief investigator who was a prominent attorney in Varginha, and who had opened up an institute for Ufological Research and had a wonderful facility there for interviewing people who had experienced UFOs. Dr. Leir also wanted to point out that this prominent attorney had in his office - filing cabinet after filing cabinet of documents pertaining to the Varginha case along with much eye witness testimony. The attorney was the first person that Dr, Leir interviewed upon his arrival in Varginha, who gave him an overview of the case and what occurred on the night of January 19th, 1996. NORAD (North American Airspace Defense Command) was the organization who had originally detected the craft flying over the area of Minis Gerais. They not only informed the Brazilian Military of the time that the craft was “coming down” but had pinpointed the exact position where it had landed. There was one witness in the area however, a farmer who driving in his truck approached the downed object just before the military arrived. Once the military from Sergeants Camp arrived at the scene, the farmer was asked to leave immediately. Reluctant to do so, he left the area only to drive around the corner where he could watch what was happening, undisturbed. Not only was there a UFO crash, but subsequent sightings of what appeared to be alien beings, and as many as eleven beings were believed to have been seen days after following the crash. But due to time constraints of the show, Dr. Leir talked about the case that revolved around the testimony of two separate sightings of the beings that had involved eye witnesses. The descriptions given of these creatures were that they were 5’ft tall, brown in colour with a type of oily looking skin; and some witnesses also reported seeing external blood vessels across the shoulders. They had large red eyes that were up-turned in the corners, as well as three small protuberances running from the front of the head to the back. The torso was small and childlike, and each hand had four fingers which seemed to articulate with each other very well. Their feet were seen to have three fleshy toes, one toe being described as a vestigial toe which hung down about 90 degrees from the long axis of the arch of the foot. It was reported that there were eighty-six eye witnesses who had been involved with seeing these beings prior to Dr. Leir’s arrival; and were all very credible people from all walks of life. But since Dr. Leir’s visit, it has been stated that the number could have actually increased since that time. It was also mentioned that a couple of eye witnesses did in fact hear the beings making some sort of a strange sound that resembled that of a bunch of “buzzing bees,” but in some of the testimonies this was not reported. There were three main witnesses in the Varginha case; three young teenage girls (two of whom were sisters) who were walking home from their day jobs as maids, who took a short cut home in one of the fielded areas and saw what they thought at first to be a child kneeling by a concrete wall. 41
One of the girls was walking a head of the others, and as they got closer they then thought that what they were seeing was a strange animal, or creature. Getting closer still, they now realized that this was in fact no animal. The second girl who observed the being before the others, stood there long enough to see the creature actually turn its head and look at her eye to eye! She and the other girls then immediately ran screaming to their homes. They thought that what they were looking at was the devil himself! Mainly because of the red eyes and the three protuberances on the head that resembled somewhat similar to horns. There were a number of investigators who had interviewed the girls at the time of the event, including the late Dr. John Mack. As for Dr. Leir, he was able to interview only two of the girls at the time, the sisters, as the third girl had moved and left the area. Dr. Leir added that the interviews turned out to be very interesting because he had wanted to interview the girls not to determine if they were telling the truth as Dr. John Mack had done, but instead he interviewed them from a different stand point and that was to see if they had any involvement with the alien abduction phenomena. Surprisingly, Dr. Mack did not do that Dr. Leir had said, he simply wanted to find out if the girls were being truthful of their encounter. During the interview with the girls, some very interesting information transpired. The girls for example, had a dream independently of one another and had never discussed it amongst themselves. This dream happened a month after the event had occurred, and in this dream they remember seeing the same alien beings or creatures and having some interaction with them. The mother of the two sisters was also interviewed by Dr. Leir to get her stand point on the girls having physically seen the being. She said she had wanted to go to the location of where the girls had seen it, but as she couldn’t drive she asked a neighbour to drive her there to the actual area, but by the time she had got there the creature had gone. Further revelations were discovered by Dr. Leir while interviewing the mother, and from yet again the stand point of the alien abduction phenomena. As it turned out, she too had a history of strange dreams as well as strange physical marks on her body that she could never account for. She talked about her family and in particular her own mother, and grandmother, all having experienced some kind of encounters through their lives and various indications of certainly being involved in the phenomena. It’s interesting to note here that within a couple of days of the girls witnessing the being, the two sister’s and their mother were approached by a representative who said he was with a production company, and offered them a variety of things, including money and fame to shut them up and to make an announcement to the newspapers that said that they were mistaken, or that it was a hoax or a completely fabricated story. Although this family led a very simple life and were one step from poverty, as very simple and honest people they turned the offer down! Another eye witness who experienced seeing the being was a Mrs. Clepf, who did not come to the scene and talk about her sighting until three months after the event had taken place. She explained how she was attending a small party in a building that was fairly elevated at the local Varginha zoo. At the time, she wanted to smoke a cigarette and walked onto the porch of the building. As she lit the cigarette, she turned and saw a creature standing at the fence surrounding the porch, staring at her. She described this creature in the very same manner as the other girls had done, but for one exception - that this being was wearing some kind of a gold head piece that resembled that of an Egyptian head dress. Dr. Leir and I speculated as to why this being might be wearing the head piece, and discussed many different scenarios. Was it an aid in helping the being to communicate with the others that had also been on the downed craft? Or for that matter, a cry for help to its own kind from its home planet? Of course, our speculations could have gone on and on throughout the entire show, but would have never come to know the actual reason. We do not know exactly how many beings were physically on board the craft when it came down, but apparently through Dr. Leir’s research, some of the beings were captured from the hillside where the craft initially landed and was witnessed by the farmer. The fire department (a division of the Brazilian Military) and the army were involved in capturing the beings who were then taken to Sergeants Camp. From here they were taken to a place called Tres Corsage, and then on further to San Paolo where they were loaded onto a US Military cargo plane according to witnesses, and heading to who knows where. The story developed further. Two military police officers driving in the same area just a short distance from where the girls originally had their encounter, while driving their car saw one of these injured beings trying to cross the street! One of the officers a young twenty-three-year-old, got out of the vehicle went over to it and put his arms around the being and guided him (without resistance) into the vehicle and placed the being on his lap! The very first thing that they did was to take the being to a first aid station which was just a small primitive facility, where they were told that there was not much that they could do. They then drove to the local hospital (Hospital Regional) where the being was then taken, and then further onto the Humanitas Hospital where apparently the being was taken into care. As things transpired, three weeks after the police officer had physically handled the being, this young and very healthy twenty-three-year -old died from exposure of handling the being. His family was not informed what had happened and everything was kept a secret from them. Dr. Leir had interviewed the wife of the young military police officer and said that it was an interesting interview; not because of what he had learned, but because he had learned absolutely nothing from the interview itself. Every question that he asked her she did not have an answer for. Dr. Leir asked her what were the symptoms of her husband before he was submitted to the hospital, to which she replied she did not know. He asked her what were his symptoms while in the hospital, she said did not know. In fact, she was not even allowed to visit the hospital. Even after his death she was not issued a death certificate, not even a statement for the cause of death. I asked Dr. Leir if he felt that she genuinely did not know or had she perhaps been told to give negative answers. He agreed with the latter, and felt that she had been put upon and told not to talk. Some years later, there happened to be a UFO conference in Varginha, and the physician who over saw the case of the twenty-three-year-old police officer totally “spilled the beans” and spoke openly of the symptoms of which this young man had died. He announced that he had died not of a bacterial infection, nor of parasites, or even an injury, but had died of some “compromise of the immune system,” very similar symptoms in fact to what is found in an Ebola infection. Further Discussions with Dr. Leir on the Case. I had asked Dr. Leir’s opinion about whether the US Government knew of the Varginha event. He told me that he felt it pretty obvious that the US Government had known all along, and also suggested that they may have been involved every step of the way with the case. The notification by NORAD for example to the Brazilian Military, and that part of the Brazilian Government had to have known also what was going on. Dr. Leir mentioned how he had even brought documents back with him which were assigned by NASA and signed by Daniel Goldin, which essentially stated in the documents that the United States would develop commercially anything that the Brazilians gave them that could be developed from Extraterrestrial sources and that they would share with the Brazilian Government. He also stated that officials from the American Government were seen in the State University of Campinas, where an autopsy of one of the beings was being performed by a very well-known pathologist of the name Badan Palhares. I raised the question of how different this case might have been handled if it had happened on American soil, to which Dr. Leir informed me that it would have been very different indeed, and that it would not have received the notoriety in the US as it had done in Brazil, even with the small article placed in the Wall Street Journal, or if the World Press had been given notice of the event. 42
My next question was how this event had affected the residents of Varginha. He told me that interestingly enough that the residents were put upon so to speak by the authorities, to shut up and not to talk about the case, and certainly not to talk about the Americans involvement because they did not want Ufologists from all over the world flocking into the small town of Varginha. But as time has gone by and twenty years have passed since the event, if you visit Varginha today and walk around the small town you will see statues of what these alien beings looked like. You can walk into most shops and buy carved models of the beings. Also, it’s interesting to note that the city had erected a monument of the being in recognition of the Varginha UFO crash, and that it had actually occurred. Dr. Leir further gave details of what transpired once the injured being had been taken to the hospital Regional. It was here that a second doctor came forth, an orthopaedic surgeon who wanted to speak with Dr. Leir. Although this doctor could not speak a word of English whatsoever, they were both able to converse fairly easily using medical terminology. The surgeon took Dr. Leir to see one of his patients that had a problem with his foot, and showed him the x-rays etc. In fact, while there Dr. Leir helped him set a cast for a fracture of one of his other patient’s. From here they went into a small room where Dr. Leir could interview him. The surgeon specified that he wanted no recording devices whatsoever in the room, no cameras, and did not want to give his name, other than to Dr. Leir himself. Sworn to secrecy, Dr. Leir said that he would never mention the surgeons name, and had not mentioned it anywhere in the world, either during lectures or in his books. This man was a very respected Orthopaedic surgeon and made a disclaimer saying that the information he was about to tell were in part rumours, and that he had no first-hand knowledge however of the crash, but heard the information from friends and colleagues in the hospital. One of the questions that Dr. Leir put forth was what the being looked like. As the surgeon imparted the information he became more and more serious about it, and the story that he told was an amazing one. He stated that there were military personnel walking around the hospital on the day that the being was brought in, and that this was actually not unusual because the military base was not that far away and that sometimes the military would bring in injured personnel, but on this particular day there seemed to be more military than usual, and that they were stopping civilians from going into certain areas of the hospital. The surgeon said that he was escorted by military and asked to go into the surgery area. Before going into the room itself, he prepared by putting on his scrub suit and gown, and was told not to come out of the room until the job was done. He had no idea who the patient was, but only knew basic details that he was there to repair a fracture. Upon entering the room, he thought it was a child lying on the table, until he pulled back the curtain and could see that it was neither a child nor human. At this point he was in a total state of shock, and could see that the being did indeed have a fracture. He continued to work on the being and to reduce the fracture as he would have done on a human injury, and interestingly enough found that once the ends of both bones were put together it did not need any stabilization device to hold it in place, because the fracture started to heal immediately! In fact, the bone healed completely within a twenty-four-hour period he said. Dr. Leir asked a question about the being’s blood, to which the surgeon stated that their blood was red in colour similar to humans, with a similar cellular structure except that the creature’s platelet count was much higher. The bone was pink in colour again similar to human bone, but had cavities in it which gave it greater strength than that of human bone. The surgeon went on to tell Dr. Leir that while with the being in the operating room, and after the surgery had taken place, he received a telepathic message. He stated that while he was receiving the message, he did not want to look directly into the being’s eyes; he was afraid to do so as it was like looking into an endless pool of liquid he said. He went on to describe how the room suddenly began to fill with a greenish colour mist and had no idea what it was, where it was coming from, or whether it was toxic or not. He tried to leave the room at this point, but the military personnel would not let him. Upon taking a closer look at the mist, he noticed that it was actually being omitted from the being itself, and said that at this point he could not remove his eyes from looking at it. While doing so, he said that many thoughts were “down loading” into his head from the being, and because of the nature of the information that if felt like he had been hit over the head with a hammer. He explained to Dr. Leir that, the being had telepathically told him how he felt sorry for humankind because of two reasons. Firstly, where they come from it would not be necessary to have such a specialized facility to treat the wound such as he had, and that it would heal all by itself; that human beings do have the same capability but that we just don’t know how to use it. Secondly, the most profound information that was imparted to him was that again he felt sorry for humankind because we are totally disconnected from our higher spiritual self. After divulging this information to Dr. Leir, the surgeon sat with this hands shaking, in tears and totally lost for words. In conclusion, I asked Dr. Leir what he had learned from this unbelievably ground breaking event. He responded that, what he had learned was that these beings whoever they were, unfortunately were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Furthermore, that there was never any talk or evidence of these beings having weapons of any kind (according to eye witness accounts) and that there was never an act of hostility by these beings, who were not prepared for what happened to them when their craft came down on that fateful January night, 1996. Radical Awakening Amoda Maa Watkins Publishing 978-178028-900-7 £9.99 UK, $14.99 USA
Most of the books that claim to advocate or introduce the reader to an ‘awakened’ state of mind are, by and large, rehashes of much earlier traditional beliefs and teachings that are often millennia old, However in this book, Radical Awakenings, the author Amoda Maa Jevan, succeeds in charging the information with her own unique brand of sheer enthusiasm and energy. It is claimed that this stems directly from her personal encounters with the ‘spiritual energy’ that permeates the universe around us, God perhaps? The author has, by her own admission, a background in psychology and, like many of us, has been a spiritual seeker for many years, although she does not equate this with Gnosticism. In 2002 she had a mystical experience that transformed her life and this galvanised her into sharing this knowledge with the world. The subject matter of the book covers everything from a ‘deeper dimension of being’ to ‘embodying the divine’ and culminates in the rather worryingly entitled chapter, ‘Dying into God’. If this is your ‘thing’ then yes, why not , it’s a well written, well argued ,extremely knowledgeable and comprehensive guide to discovering yourself and how you fit in to the general scheme of things, but for me, well, I’ve kind of seen it all before.

More Things You Can do When You’re Dead Trisha J Robertson White Crow Books 978-1-910123-44-3 £11.99 (Amazon)
On reading this book it quickly becomes very clear that paranormal investigator Trisha Roberson is a woman with abundant common sense, something essential when dealing with any aspect of the paranormal. This trait is made abundantly clear as the reader progresses through the many examples in the book. These cover everything from mediumship to healing, poltergeists to possession and most points in between. The author also (and wisely) considers the conundrums and seeming impossibilities revealed by quantum physics, which is where at least part of the answer surely lies. Some chapters are drawn directly from her personal experiences, while yet others look at other well known cases and the abundant and positive supporting evidence worldwide. In fact there is considerably more evidence for the paranormal and its anomalies than against it and only resolute deniers and debunkers would, and indeed do, deny this. While one incident in particular shows that in some cases, to be rid of the phenomena all the affected person needs is a bit of empathy and encouragement, while others illustrate just how endlessly frustrating, fascinating (and frequently alarming) this subject can be. The book itself is lucid, near encyclopaedic for its size, (although never boring) and impeccably researched. It shows that Trisha’s wide experience while involved with the Scottish Society for Psychical Research (SSPR) have paid rich dividends and also demonstrates her passion for the subject. This book does not take the easy route and simply preach to the converted, because the evidence in these pages will challenge the doubters and cynics and hopefully change their minds. Highly and unreservedly recommended.

Conscious Consideration V Conspiracy Theory: By Richard Ritchie
Having been invited to write a series of articles on what has become known as 'Conspiracy Theories' I felt the first detail needing attention was this misleading misnomer, how and why it came into common usage and synonymous with nutcases, tinfoil hats and loonies, before dealing with the massive minefield of information interlinking all fields of human experience. Should I study or research history I would be a historian, religion a theologian, humanity an anthropologist, machines an engineer or mechanic etc., should I investigate and write about wrong doing, criminality, injustice, cruelty etc., I would be classified as an investigative journalist or reporter. So why; are those who discover or uncover anomalies, errors, deceit, and often bare faced lies in authorised versions of events be they scientific, medical, historical, political, governmental etc., categorised as 'Conspiracy Theorists'? Anyone disputing the official view, no matter if their reported findings contain empiric and indisputable proof to substantiate their conclusions and results, are immediately branded with the 'Conspiracy' label. Even those who are considered experts in their fields, for example:- Architects and engineers for 9/11 Truth over two thousand of whom, knowing the threat to their careers, reputations and livelihoods, decided; first as individuals then as an ever growing honest and fearless group of experts to stand against the joke that is the official '9/11 report. Throughout history those who disputed orthodox ideologies have been ridiculed, ruined, even tortured and murdered for voicing opinions questioning the current dictated doctrine and today is no different, why should it be? Those in positions of power and control still do not tolerate any interference which may hamper, harm or reveal the truth of their agenda. So just as in the past they ensure the destruction of all dissenting voices, options and opinions. This control system is utilised in every aspect of modern life including all sciences, medical, anthropology, archaeology and
geology, etc., including their associated areas of research, as well as any investigations, or debates on the paranormal, supernatural, alien, climate manipulation or mind control etc. Even when empiric proof is provided; as in the case of Bill Clinton apologising on camera for the criminal cruelty inflicted on the victims of the 'M.K. Ultra' mind control programme, there is an extraordinary lack of media coverage.
Therefore public awareness of these events and many other equally horrific instances of governmental corruption are never exposed to scrutiny or reported in a uncomplimentary manner. (An amazing piece of synchronicity occurred after writing this piece on the morning of 04/11/2015, that evening a documentary was shown on R.T. (Russia Today) exposing the horrendous and illegal mind control experiments performed by both the Russian K.G.B. and the American C.I.A. and there was President Bill Clinton apologising for what had been criminally committed on citizens of the United States. Does it not seem strange that this and the many other illegal cases of testing and experimentation done to and performed on citizens in these countries as well as here in Britain, do not have a much wider media coverage?) Thanks for the confirmation cosmos. When artefacts are unearthed which are out-with the accepted anthropological time frame, they are dismissed, ignored and even destroyed. (As was the situation just recently when the Smithsonian Institute admitted to destroying the skeletal remains of giant beings in their keeping?) Bones, tools, objects and vessels which often predate the established theory by not hundreds but thousands and even millions of years are ignored or dismissed without explanation Media mainstream is fully 47
utilised when attacking anything extraordinary, or any phenomena not fitting the approved version of events. For example - why; when allegedly presenting a programme investigating the 'Mitchell -Hedges' crystal skull, did the B.B.C. indulge in a constant stream of discrediting and disparaging remarks, without once remarking on the impossibility of modern technology being able to replicate this single piece of crystal cut against the grain (impossible), let alone one with such amazing light refracting properties, ( any light source placed below the skull is focused up and through the eyes), a holographic image, a separate jawbone cut from the same piece of crystal which, when the skull is placed upon it, results in any sound moving the skull giving the impression of it talking and many more anomalies? Instead there was an implied accusation of falsification, because they had found evidence of tiny tool marks. Never did they reveal the source of this 'tooling' by disclosing that while being examined by 'Hewlett Packard' it was very slightly scratched and they did their very best to rectify the blemish by polishing the tiny mark using a modern machine. This is the benchmark whenever mainstream media covers any phenomena going beyond the temporal world, such as ufology, paranormal incidents, esotericism, spiritual phenomena etc, it immediately debunks, and denounces the occurrence implying any merit or credence given it, is; by association, akin to brain damage. Through planned and careful editing, those who took part in the film are belittled, discredited and made to appear fools. Never openly debating the subject but instead through the use of 'psycho-linguistics' (the term given to the use of a word or words which create a population meme or image as soon as they are uttered), ergo; mention any of the above and ridicule, idiocy, stupidity and craziness is brought to mind. Fear of being thought a fool prevents fools from holding an open minded debate, so the subject is not taken or treated seriously or given any credibility. Scholars,

professors, researchers, chemists, historians etc. as well as the general public know the cost in status, standing, and reputation should they step beyond the confines of acceptance by their peers, so fear prevails and pervades all aspects of human behaviour. This is the true origin of the successful propagandise d controlling term: 'Conspiracy Theory'. Any reporter who attempts a truthful, thoughtful, and open minded report is dismissed. All media is controlled and reports only when and with what it is told or allowed to report. The B.B.C. is a government funded organisation and therefore state owned. Licences to broadcast are issued by the state who are controlled and answerable to huge financial corporations, who dictate the information programme. Do you really believe the millions and billions given to political parties throughout the western world come from groups of altruistic philanthropists with no strings attached? If so please cease reading this article now and enjoy your sleep. Remember always the three stages of truth,- first ridicule, second vehement denial and thirdly acceptance of it as self evident. Should you wish to become aware of the massive deceit being perpetrated on humanity you must first be aware of the self deceit within yourself. This deceit so often goes unnoticed because it is instilled into the subconscious through well planned, subliminal methods beginning in early childhood, continued through the education programme often backed by parents who misguidedly believe they are doing what's right and best for their child, (Vaccines being a good example but to be fully explained in a later article). College and university continue to mould memories until what emerges is the manufactured mind in a conditioned character actor. This false persona portrays to others the manipulated mask which it believes will allow acceptance by their equally indoctrinated, deluded peers and fulfil the nefarious narcotic need for attention, admiration and ego enhancing envy from all. Ideas and beliefs not their own but assimilated into this persona as a means of self enhancement, are constantly added without conscious scrutiny and then espoused as originating from within themselves. They are convinced it's source is their own mind because they never truly question the origin of the formative thought foundation or themselves. To escape from a prison, you must first realise you are actually in prison! and to free yourself from slavery, you must first know you have been enslaved. Edward Bernays, the nephew of Sigmund Freud realised in the early nineteen hundreds the significance and possibilities in using mass media propaganda in a modernised manner. It was he who utilised this
method to sway public opinion in America in favour of World War One, which had previously been vehemently opposed to all and any form of involvement. This was also the case when the use of the false flag attack on Pearl Harbour, brought public perception on side and resulted in America entering into the second world war. It is interesting to note that Bernays uncle Sigmund, suffered willingly from that great personal deceiver - ego. When the person whom he hoped would continue his research and bring added renown to his work i.e. Carl Jung, confronted him with irrefutable evidence of paranormal phenomena, his reaction was one of despairing denial. While proof contrary to his created convictions was undeniable, his reaction was not one of eagerness to investigate this new dimension but a fearful realisation his ideology and theories were unsound and arrogance and ego elicited the reply, " I cannot accept it as it pours doubt on all my work and reputation". (I paraphrase). This exhibition of cognitive dissonance and pompous pride was enough to free Jung from any further influence from a man whose work he had once admired and respected. Jung also could not comprehend while attending university, his fellow students closed minded and dismissive attitude on what to him; was the fascinating subjects of spiritual and paranormal occurrences, and why any discussion or open minded investigation met only ridicule. His personal biography is highly recommended to those interested in discovering what an open mind can accomplish by using reasoning, rather than the dogma dictated by so called, educational authorities. There have been many who have adopted Edward Bernays methodology but it is by no way a new idea apart from its use in a mass media context. Prior to this, there was always a means to emotionally engineer a desired and required response from a person, people, tribe or nation either through reward, advancement, threat or fear and generally 48
through the combination of all. There has ever been a ruling elite and the masses doing their bidding willingly or through force and with the passing of time these control systems have grown even more sophisticated and much more subtle. To find an answer you must first find the correct question to ask. If you are unaware, you are unequipped to inquire and therefore remain ignorant, lacking insight or understanding. This unfortunate state is the condition in which the great majority of the global population exist, and Western countries have become so ill mannered, hedonistic and self-delusional that a cretinous display of arrogance pervades their ignorance. Psychopathic leaders functioning to fulfil an alien agenda imposed and implemented upon them declare wars that kill millions and make millions in profits for those that initiated them, while despair, disease, and starvation slaughter those that are left. Insanity is measured by your ability to adapt to, and behave in, a manner deemed socially acceptable according to the standards of that culture and the moral conditions it imposes. Any behaviour not conforming to these ruling cultural codes exhibited by any individual is therefore certified as insane behaviour and when a civilization creates a lunatic asylum culture, the sane man is insane. Through circumstance, conditioning and programming they remain focused on the ephemeral rather than the eternal, on fantasy rather than fact, on the mundane rather than the mystical and this is exactly the apathetic, zombie state those with control, wish to preserve and maintain the global population in. This is no recent agenda and neither is it controlled by governments or financial systems but perhaps we need to ask these, as yet, unasked questions first and peer beneath the cloak of this deceitful dimension. A pre-requisite to insight is a completely open mind, free from prejudice and

personal preference. Any prior knowledge must be suspended as only an empty vessel can be filled with fresh water. This is the most difficult aspect of all, how to put aside the self, bias, pride, ego, the past and its errors. The greatest mistake that can be made? - is not to learn from your mistake. As the maxim states ' You cannot solve a problem by using the same method which created it'. All the great esoteric teachings focus first on moving beyond the false self into an awakened state of connection beyond the physical, the reason being; without truth within yourself it is impossible to perceive truth beyond the self. All the connections are there, only very difficult to piece together without a diligent, open minded, eclectic approach and a great deal of personal hard work and effort. To make any information your own you must do your own learning and research, otherwise it remains another's property. Should the gathering of information be for self aggrandisement, all you will ever have
is information, machines are useful in this regard. Should it however be used to gain truth, knowledge, insight and enlightenment, it will in time; also bring wisdom and true wisdom teaches us just how much in the dark we are. Never before has the availability to gain information from all fields of human knowledge ever been greater than through access to the internet and strangely (or perhaps not) there is derisory condemnation heaped on it such as "you'll find all kinds of nonsense on the internet", or "where did you get that rubbish from; the internet I suppose"? Plus a variety of other derogatory remarks. Strangely, they are not used when referencing information from other sources such as books, media, sciences and academia which all suffer from the same flaw i.e.- they are written and presented by people, and are therefore susceptible to just as many inaccuracies. The true reason behind the derision is lack of control over the world wide accessibility to facts and information and a loss of influence over
how it is perceived by a global population. This does not imply that there is no disinformation on the net, (there is loads of it and much of it designed to obfuscate and confuse) but at least it gives one the opportunity to utilise their own discernment when seeking truth which strangely; the vast majority are disturbed by and dislike intensely when found. Finally, those in doubt about an egregious secret agenda and an elite controlling power need only access 'You Tube' and listen to President John Kennedy’s speech on the secret shadow government or President Eisenhower's warning on the military industrial complex, also President Woodrow Wilson's statement that he truly regretted having been responsible for ruining his country by submitting control to a banking cartel and small group of dominant men. There is so much more confirmation by and from numerous other creditable sources but these are for other, more detailed articles. By Richard Ritchie.
January 3, 4 - Quadrantids Meteor Shower. The Quadrantids is an above average shower, with up to 40 meteors per hour at its peak. It is thought to be produced by dust grains left behind by an extinct comet known as 2003 EH1, which was discovered in 2003. The shower runs annually from January 1-5. It peaks this year on the night of the 3rd and morning of the 4th. The second quarter moon will block out all but the brightest meteors this year, but it could still be a good show if you are patient. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Bootes, but can appear anywhere in the sky. January 10 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This phase occurs at 01:30 UTC. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere. January 24 - Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 01:46 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Wolf Moon because this was the time of year when hungry wolf packs howled outside their camps. This moon has also been know as the Old Moon and the Moon After Yule. 49

The author of this incredible book first contacted SEP - (The Scientific Establishment of Parapsychology) back in 2004 and made some rather fantastic claims; that he had the ability to predict future events. The authors precognitive ability seemed to be themed around acts of terrorism and natural disasters. He also claimed that numerology was prominent in his life coupled with profound incidents of synchronicity and coincidences. At this point SEP opened a case file and instructed him to document his experiences and send them via electronic means, which would be time and date stamped. This process which could easily be constructed, was a means of e-mailing SEP with regular information on events which he has been providing since early 2004. Under normal circumstances, most individuals that contact SEP are often deluding themselves in regards their abilities. Very rarely do we have a potential candidate to study over a long duration. 'Extraordinary claims deserve extraordinary evidence'. Since the founding of SEP in 1996, we have had very few people contact us as regards having themselves tested, monitored or recorded the hope of an example of extrasensory perception manifesting. Rarely do parapsychological departments and/or organization’s have such people contact them. Usually they contact the newspapers, magazines, TV shows or radio stations in the hope of jumping on the poorly scientific media train. Since 2004 SEP have performed statistical analysis on many of his claims and found a large number of them to be significantly below chance factor. He had shown consistency in his results... Results that will amaze you, as they did the researchers. This incredible book records just one year as seen through the eyes of the author and how he managed to cope with such an incredible yet profound psychic intrusion‌ An absolute 'Must Read! - Steve Mera: SEP Founder.
