Seaplane Harbour is not just interesting for its exhibition that focuses on Estonian marine history, but also because of its´ architecture. Originally it was constructed as a hangar for seaplanes in the area of Peter the Great's Naval Fortress, nowadays the activities of the harbour are managed by the Estonian Maritime Museum. The museum was supposed to be opened during Tallinn Cultural Capital year 2011 but after major reconstruction works was opened for the public a year later. Nevertheless, the delay was not presented in media as a failure but a reasonable decision. During almost 3 years of its existence the museum has won a number of different local and international awards (for exhibition, eco strategy, launching PR campaign and as an architectural site and tourist attraction, etc), among others Europe NOSTRA Grand Prix 2013, Trip Adviser´s Certificate of Excellence 2015 and „Family friendly museum in Estonia“ prize. The MAPSI conference visitors will not have the regular guided tour in the museum but a special welcoming targeted to the „success story of the museum“. After that everybody will have time to investigate the museum on their own or enjoy the fabulous restaurant inside the Seaplane Harbour called „Maru“ (Great Storm).

The Ukrainian Cultural Center is located within the medieval walls of Tallinn’s Old Town and is dedicated to promoting Ukrainian Culture in Estonia, providing a place where local Ukrainians can preserve their language, culture, and traditions. There is as school, a library, and a museum in the Ukrainian Cultural Center. Center houses a number of permanent and rotating exhibits designed to showcase Ukrainian traditions, crafts, and art and also teach a number of different medieval arts and crafts including papermaking, calligraphy, bookmaking, toy making, icon painting. In its projects, the Ukrainian Cultural Center tackles current societal problems such as, integration and improving of intercultural dialog between different ethnic groups in Estonia, protection of unique cultures and their traditions and crafts, as well as recently, Eastern Ukraine conflict advocacy.
