ANALYSIS Site
0.5 miles Site This site has elevational changes up to about 800ft with a valley down the center of it. It will be interesting to see the walkability, sun and shade, and flow on this site, as it is so steep.

EVO-DEVO Objective Location 1
Objective Walkability on this is as expected - mostly in the valley. For this exercise, I want to experiment with landform in the valley to make it more walkable.

GALAPAGOS Mesh segmentation
Objective In this exercise, we wanted to simulate solar radiation on our chosen site. WIth that, we could segment the meshed topography into different radiation zones. Our objective is to populate each micro climate with unique vegetation, creating a variety of different experiences and habitat.

CREDITS
Isabela Ospina Isabela is a 5th year undergraduate landscape architectute student. Originally interested in architecture, she came to landscape because it allowed her to explore new boundaries of space, design, and art. Her love of public spaces came very natural to her as she has always felt cramped and indoors. As a result, she pursued a study abroad program focusing in urban design in Barcelona where she learned and experimented with the intersections of cultural and scientific phenomenon. Coming from Quindio, Colombia, she loves to integrate color and vibracy she sees in landscapes into her everyday palette. Her work is also rooted in social justice, where she translates and mediates the values of communities into multi-functional designs, while also integrating GND principles.
