INTRODUCTION We understand the diagnosis as a process that describes, analyzes and determines the institution’s and its educational scopes’ reality (pedagogical, organizational, administrative and in relation to the community). Making an institution’s research before performing in it is important since it allows us to:
Systematize the information about the problems and situations of the determines reality on which we will perform; Foresee the future problems; Get to know the people who will benefit from our planning. Clarifying our aims within our planning. Determine which resources, methodology and contents we can use In order to execute our plan. Get to know, understand and reflect on the institution, classroom, teachers, families, community and student´s strength, opportunities, weakness and threats.
This report on the Colegio General Manuel Belgrano is an attempt to a diagnosis before I begin my InResidencia period at such school. This document is addressed to my Residencia teacher, Prof. Patricia Raimondi and the information here expressed has been obtained from the institution’s blog, and from interviews made to institution’s teachers, as well as from the vice-headmistress of the institution. This report is based on the model exposed by the author Marina Müller in her book “Formación docente y
psicopedagógica”.

They fisrst began using the free resources of “E.I.R.E.T.E.”, until they made it official under the name of “Colegio Nacional de Curuzú Cuatiá”, on 4th August 1936. It developed its activities on a building located on 600 Rivadavia Street. On May 1988 the school moves to its new building located on the Irastorza Street, between Gobernador Gómez and Belgrano Street. And since 9th March 1993, by implementation of the “Ley Federal de Educación”, the Third Cycle of the “Educación General Básica (E.G.B.3.)” starts. The “Polimodal” is created in 2003 and lasts until 2007, and in 2008 the “Ley de Educación Nacional” is implemented, making the 7th year the 1st of the secondary school. Such Secondary
