AFTER A CHALLENGING, YET RESOURCEFUL YEAR FOR THE SECTOR, WE STARTED OFF THE YEAR 2021 WITH NEW PERSPECTIVES AND A FRESH OUTLOOK. THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC HAS, ON THE ONE HAND, FORCED MANY COMPANIES TO ADOPT NEW STRATEGIES and cancel trade shows and events and, on the other hand, inspired us to fnd new ways to work together. We have acquired new skills we would not have acquired if it wasn’t for these challenges. Full speed ahead!

In this issue, we kick off with the Palma Superyacht Show of 2021. The Palma Superyacht Show team members have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming edition, so continue reading for new updates and an exciting preview. An amazing reft project has taken place at the Feadship yard in Makkum, where the 57.30m Amara was brought for some sublime reft activities. Read more about it on page 16. We will focus on Italy and highlight some of the fnest Italian superyacht builders and shipyards in this edition of SuperYacht Industry.
