In March 2021, Heesen’s 50m superyacht Project Triton has been delivered to its owner and named Arkadia.

Arkadia was sold in October 2020 by David Johnson of Denison Yachting, who introduced the client and worked closely with Thom Conboy of Heesen USA, and the sales team at the shipyard in Oss to seal the deal. “We look forward to seeing Arkadia join her sister ship Omaha on our side of the ocean”, says Mr Conboy. “American customers appreciate the quality of a Dutch pedigree yacht, and the Heesen feet is growing in North America and the Bahamas.”

A go-anywhere, luxury superyacht

Arkadia is the second yacht in Heesen’s 50m steel displacement class, whose exterior lines by Cliford Denn combine a purposeful, muscular profle with the elegance of Dutch superyacht design. Her top speed is 15 knots, and she has a transoceanic range of 3,800nm at a cruising speed of 13 knots. Perfectly balanced rudders ensure excellent closequarters manoeuvrability, and at just under the 500GT threshold, she is also remarkably spacious for her length. Every area of the yacht has been conceived to deliver the best possible experience for everyone on board. Ten guests can be accommodated in fve luxurious suites, while her generous deck spaces will also ensure maximum enjoyment of the great outdoors, from alfresco dining to relaxing in the sun or getting close to the water in her lavish beach club. Arkadia is a beautiful addition to the fast-growing Heesen feet and is sure to turn heads wherever she goes.
