Camper & Nicholsons is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bobby Bigio as Retail
Charter Broker, based in their London offce. Mr Bigio grew up on/under the water in Southeast Asia where he developed a deep-rooted appreciation of the ocean. After completing his BSc and Masters in the UK, he returned to warmer waters where he worked on private islands and luxury superyachts, gaining a wealth of destination knowledge and handson experience as he cruised in all corners of the globe. With over 250 successful charters under his belt, he brings a wealth of knowledge to Camper & Nicholsons.

Hundested Propeller is pleased to announce the appointment of Henrik Hamann Juel as CEO as of January 2022. Hamann
Juel brings a wealth of experience from his prior work within the manufacturing of marine generators, aquaculture, and wind energy. His roles have included CEO,
COO, Factory Manager in both mediumsized businesses and large international corporations. His understanding of technical automation and sales, strategic marketing and internal processes will look to further grow and develop the business. “I am looking forward to working with the team here at Hundested Propeller,” comments Henrik Hamann Juel.

Camper & Nicholsons has appointed Maël
Fiolet as its new Sales Advisor. Mr Fiolet will join the company’s brokerage offce in Monaco. A French national, Mr Fiolet grew up on the Atlantic coast of France, spending his formative years sailing. He found his love for the sea early, and was eager to turn his passion into a profession.
After a few years as a sailing instructor, Mr Fiolet began studies in international business, balancing his university timetable with full-time work as a sales representative for Neel and Leen.
Appointment at Schottel
With effect from 1 January 2022, Seçkin Uz has been appointed Managing Director for Schottel Turkey. Mr Uz has extensive experience and expertise in the area of ship propulsion. After earning a degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean
Engineering, he began his career with
Berg Propulsion in the Asia/Pacifc and
Middle East region. Upon joining Caterpillar Marine as Managing Director for the entities in Dubai and Istanbul, he steadily pursued to enrich his knowledge and capabilities in the felds of market development, new sales, technical sales and after sales service.

CEO Appointment at Zeelander Yachts
Grant Hooper takes up his new role with
Zeelander Yachts having spent 18 years with UK-based Princess Yachts, rising to the position of Purchasing Director and member of the Board of Directors before joining Fairline Yachts, another British brand, as Commercial & Supply Chain
Director in 2019. In both cases, he proved instrumental in streamlining operations to deliver signifcant revenue growth and delivery rates. As CEO of Zeelander he is tasked with overseeing all commercial activities from planning and production operations to fnance and supply chain management.

Business Development Manager MB92 La Ciotat, France’s leading superyacht reft shipyard, announced the appointment of Joe Degabriele as Senior Business
Development Manager whose main area of focus will be the commercial development of the new 4300t shiplift, due for delivery in September 2022. With over 30 years of experience, Mr Degabriele is no stranger to MB92 as he was previously Director of Projects at the shipyard in La Ciotat from 2014 to 2019. During his career, he has held a number of senior management positions at superyacht reft facilities in the US, France, Italy and Malta.

In this upgrading of the top management team, Mr Gornati will focus on strengthening the marketing and communication of the Group’s brands – Azimut Yachts, Benetti, Lusben and Yachtique – to boost their growth in an increasingly dynamic and challenging market. He will report to Azimut Benetti Group CEO Marco Valle. Mr Gornati has over 20 years of experience in the world of yachting and luxury goods and in roles of increasing responsibility in both agency and corporate capacities.

Thomas Wieringa has been named as the new Marketing Director for Damen Yachting.
His appointment aligns with the company’s vision behind the further growth and development of their luxury superyacht portfolio and brand proposition. Joining the company from the super-premium and luxury FMCG sector, Mr Wieringa brings a fresh and challenging outlook to the Dutch superyacht recognised for their Amels luxury superyachts, SeaXplorer luxury expedition yachts and Yacht Support boats.
