I-Phone

I used it to record my audience research which was the vox-pop.

It had easy access to it. It was portable and light. It recorded the sound and video clips we needed.

Digital Camera

I used it to take photographs for my recci task. I took these pictures in possible locations I could shoot my film at. I used this on the computer. It’s an online software program.

It was easy to use in terms of using the functions such as, taking photos.

It saved me time booking out a HD camera. This was made it a quick method. However, when we uploaded it into a movie file it was incompatible with computers that were not macs. Therefore I had to use a file converter to change it into an AVI format. This was time-consuming. The advantage was that it was portable which meant that it was easy to carry.

YouTube

It can be located on the internet and it is a social networking website.

Blogger

On the internet and at each production stage.

It allowed me to look at existing opening sequences by film four. This allowed me to analyse technical aspects and generic conventions they use. In addition, it allowed me to focus on what type of themes or issue I could explore. It gave me a platform where I can present my whole project.

Isuuu (online uploading software)

It allowed me to upload files such as PowerPoint slides onto my blog.

It is very fast to upload the file. However, it did sometimes mean I’d have to keep re-uploading it if I had to make changes to my PowerPoint presentations. It was easy to gain access Film Four film sequences, however, some films were unavailable to watch.

It was successful as it allowed me to present my work for assessment.

HD Camera

I used this in various locations to film my opening sequence, such as, the park and my house.

I could put recorded work onto my blog for assessment.

Issuu

I used this to upload production logs on my blog.

There is a record of the issues and experiences I faced during the production stage.

It was relatively easy to carry and use. The functions of the camera were simple. However, this would often mean it took a long time to transfer the files onto the mac computers. It was easy to upload the file onto this online uploading software.

Final Cut Edit Pro (editing software).

On the apple mac computers.

I used this program to edit our opening sequence.

Adobe Photoshop

On the apple mac computers.

I used this program to edit the titles for our opening sequence.

It was good because it had lots of function on the program, making it very advanced. However, this made it harder to use when I first used it because there were more functions. It was relatively easy to use as I had previous experience using this software. It helped to make the typography and colour correct.

YouTube

On the internet, social networking website, www.youtube.com On the internet, www.issuu.com

It allowed me to upload our joint task clips.

It is successful as it allowed me to work with my partner effectively and answer the questions were given as tasks. This was successful as it managed to illustrate the tasks as it shows the power point presentations. This was successful as it made my work unique. This meant I could use technology to present my work rather than pen and paper which is likely to be less creative.

Issuu

Blogger

The internet.

To present my work was PowerPoint. I used this to keep my work organised.

By using technology I have learnt that it has vital purposes upon my production stages. The blog in particular meant that I could present my work neatly and it allowed me to be very creative. There were a few unsuccessful elements of using these elements such as, time issues however; I have successful been able to use this to finish my work. Therefore, I believe that this served a good purpose.
