About me‌ The greatest barrier in my life is the limitation in long term memorising. But until today, once was my weakness became my strengths that I am proud of. As you may or may not aware of, the learning experience in Hong Kong cannot be disconnected with the ability of memorising information. I struggle a lot during my years in primary and secondary educations. Of course one may say the grades reflect how successful you are in the society of Hong Kong, however, I believe this does not comply with me of the ability to success. During the years of hard time under Hong Kong educations, I rather learn by memorising, but instead, I constantly find solutions and methods to remedy my weakness. These experiences developed myself into an individual with creative, reasoning and problem solving skills. By which, these abilities not only overcome my weakness, but also convert me into a fast learner and great degree of adaptation, yet not a memoriser.

SEM 1 | LAMB OF GOD
The design brief required us to build a personal space structure in a busy market. My design was1 to achieve SEM | SLIDING privacy, greenery, productivity and being integrated to the site.
PERSONAL SPACE
At the ground floor, the cell-walls of my structure are totally covered by wooden planks. Natural lights and fresh air are coming from the ceiling windows. At the intermediate level, there were some spaces between the ground and first floor. This allows winds to pass through and to generate electricity by the wind turbulence. The spaces also make some rooms for 1 | UNDERGROUND the ground SEM floor ceiling’s windows to open and close. The Moving Montage | A place for spreading ideas | PRESTON | Typology: The puzzle of Knowledge Location: Preston, Lancashire Size: 1200 m2 3rd Year | 2015-16 Sem 2 Project
Designs in the age of 21st century is the year of globalisation. Architecture seldom consider the historical aspect as much as before. But, instead more towards a unility of the world. The proposed scheme is a place to learn something radical. The aim is to take TED talks one step forward. Rather realising the existing of new idea, but also take action of indepth knowing what’s all behind the specific idea. Hence, opening the options of contribute into part of the widen the global of knowledge.
The proposed scheme has a globally reconisable look of a puzzle. Just like how knowledges comes from, it is a combination of finding the right puzzle to fitin the correct position, as well as the touching in to the field of uncertainties. The facade composite of three different height of blocks, randomising them represent the amount of uncertainties we might encounter. It is the field of unknown, but at the same time the possibilities of chances we might run into a radical idea.

Buildings are meant to build in context, both in historically and in locally. Especially, when designing an administrative center which is iconic and representative to a county. The project startoff with reversing the idea of Panopticism. By definition, Panopticism is a social theory, whereas the individuals are being surveillance by the higher authority from above. While those underneath would not be able to tell whether they are being watched or not.
To reverse the idea of Panopticism, which means the place for judical works will be at the bottom and public will be able to ‘surveillance’ the process of it. With such open design, it will emphasis the democracy policy of England.
By the aspect of historical context, I had introduce the emblem of Preston into part of the topology interest. It is a lamb kneeling on the ground. Part of the meaning it as a representation of ‘sacrificed for the common good’. A group of them surround towards a center is a sign of gathering different perspective into one common agreed decision; a unility. With this been said, the parti diagrams above self-explanatory demonstrate how it came into form.
