A LIBRARY PROJECT LOCATED IN LIVERPOOL
IDEAS SOTRE
An exploration of the importance and meaning of‘the library’is central to this project. The library, as a building type, hasbeen evolving throughout time.Initially a repository of books and documents, and a place to access the information and knowledge contained within, libraries also became
community hubs, and places to engage with others. With the recent rapid changes in technology, people’s ability to access information has changed, but the library still exists as a physical place to have access to knowledge and to engage with other people.
The initial point of this project is to start with a narrative story. My story is about how we tends to start losing our imagination through the time when we grow up.The usage of “Starry Night” for background show how the same form of environment that we see everyday was view in an artistic way. Once perspective could view this as how the imaginative child was visualising the world we live in.The structure on the center was aiming at producing a spaceship
form library.Curves of the roof and foundations were trying to imitate those form of a UFO.Lots of books were placed to define the knowledge a library suppose to have. Finally but not least,a photo with people and users speaks what Architectures are designed for.

Sunderland point being the only place in UK which is constrained by the tidal access. To access by a vehicle would need to cross over 2km of tidal marsh for which is completely flooded during a high tide. The aim of this project is to transform what used to be a restriction into a distinctive places. To change what was an issue into a sense of impression to the place.Hopefully, the extraordinary place would leave the visitors a remarkable awareness of how powerful tidal energy is.

SUNDERLAND
Sunderland point is a small hamlet which population is under 100. A half an hour walk and glance through the site would be enough to observe every small detail of the site. The slop is shallow and resident moan about how irritating it is when the tide is high and flooded their home. But the notable east view worth for the sacrifice and well enough reason to keep them still stay living.
