LEST WE FORGET

ANZAC Day 2019 marked the 104th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli. The day was commemorated at Dawn Services and marches on Thursday and as the Last Post echoed those who have fallen were honoured and remembered for their ultimate sacrifice. Across the region huge crowds of the young and old gathered at Mareeba, Atherton, Mt Molloy, Dimbulah, Malanda and Yungaburra. Turn to pages 8-12 for photos from the parades and services across the region.
