Winning day at the races
PUNTERS, racehorses and fashion fillies were rewarded at a spectacular day at the Mareeba Annuals. Mareeba Turf Club Secretary John Thurlow said the action-packed day went smoothly with beautiful sunshine and a nice light breeze providing the perfect setting. The day wasn’t just for track action with Madeleine Kelso picking up Best Dressed Lady in the 2014 Mareeba Annuals Bendigo Bank Fashions on the Field. She is pictured here with Runner-up Nadine Apps, Over 40s best dressed lady Margie Russel and Runner-up Theresa Whiteing. For more Mareeba Annuals action, turn to page 27.
