EA Planetum The Environmental association EA Planetum was established in 1999 with the ambitious and unifying aim of protection and promotion of the environment trough solving issues related to waste management as well as development of alternative tourism, educational activities to encourage the improvement of regional economies. In the course of its thirteen year existence EA Planetum has implemented numerous projects, and most of them related to solid waste management issues that are present in our region. Most of the implemented projects consisted of research and analysis regarding certain types of solid waste in order to obtain more adequate and qualitative data about solid waste and its management. Important component of all project activities is public education about waste generation, the effect that it has environment and how to prevent those negative effects. As a result of our researches and analysis a number of educative brochures were produced for certain types of waste with a content that was presented for the first time to the public in Macedonia. EA Planetum is working on improvement of the urban development of City of Strumica trough the Program of increasing and arranging the green areas, as well as the program for marking bicycle paths in the Municipality and usage of the bicycle as alternative transportation mean. Youth program of EA Planetum is aimed at all young people who are interested in new ways of educating, promoting human rights, protection of environment. Youth program are realizing by different activities giving priority to non formal education, art, organizing trainings, youth exchange, summer camps and etc.
About the training The project " Green Enterpise�is a 7 days training course under the Erasmus + KA1 Mobility project for young people and youth workers.The Goal of the training is: Increasing the possibility for employment of the young people and putting into use their creative potentials by enriching the labour market with new job positions through opening of eco-social enterprise. The participants will have possibilities to get introduced with the basics of the eco-social entrepreneurship and to create own virtual eco organizations. There will be different types of activities within the training: -Workshops, -Interactive presentations, -Open-air events.

Inese PriedĂŽte holds master degree in media and communication and had been engaged in youth work and non-formal education for seven years. Inese has coordinated over 40 international educational, social and cultural projects, gaining diverse experience in all stages of the project management. As a freelance trainer Inese is cooperating with different around Europe. She has elaborated and facilitated more than 100 different training programs on topics such as creativity and innovation, social entrepreneurship, social media and personal branding. Inese defines herself also as a traveller and explorer, thus she prefers unconventional learning approaches, especially work with visual expression, embodied learning and creative writing tools. Ilze Jece (Latvian) is social change facilitator. personal and professional development trainer, embodied coach and holistic therapist. With more then 12 years of experience in the training field and more then 8 years practice in holistic therapies, she brings holistic experience in learning and group processes. Ilze has grown up working for various non-profits and setting up initiatives for local community, since then she has been continuously working within environmental and social movements across the World, leading teams and projects, as well as delivering trainings on environmental and social justice, leadership, peace-building and communication. She is passionate about creating space for meaningful conversations, playful connection and compassionate action. Strumica, Macedonia Venue of the training Strumica is the largest city in eastern Republic of Macedonia, near the Novo SeloPetrich border crossing with Bulgaria. About 100,000 people live in the region surrounding the city. It is named after theStrumica River which runs through it. The city of Strumica is settled in a valley, the Strumica Valley. This Valley is surrounded by three beautiful mountains: Belasitsa, Ograzden and Elenica. Each of these mountains has specific flora and fauna. Strumica is the main agricultural center in the Republic of Macedonia. Strumica is know about the early vegetables especially the paprika, tomatoes and cucumber. From paprika the local people in autumn prepare traditional food called ajvar, which is famous among all the country. Strumica is known about the Carnival that takes place each year in the winter. The Carnival lasts three days and a lot of visitors come, not only from Macedonia, but form other countries too.This year the dates for the Carnival are from 12.03-15.03.2015, very near the dates of the training course, so maybe if you want you can stay and see the spectacle that is happening during the Carnival days. In Strumica Valley the climate is under influence of both Mediterranean and Continental climate.The climate in Strumica is characterized by relatively mild winters, with long dry summers and high average daily temperatures. From the bus station in Skopje you can catch bus to take to bus station in Strumica. These refer also to the participants who will come by bus. The bus ticket for round trip costs 13 Euros and one way ticket costs 9 Euros. How to prepare yourself for the training -Do a research about social entrepreneurship; -Prepare a presentation about your research for social entrepreneurship; -Prepare a presentation about your country (show us the best of your country, traditions, food, drinks, famous places, most remarkable places, etc) -Bring traditional food and drinks for the intercultural nights; -Bring promotional materials about your organization. -and last but not least bring your good mood, positive energy and will to learn and experience new things.
Please speak English Working language of the training is English. Your English proficiency should not be perfect, enough is to understood and to be understood. Reimbursement of travel expenses Every participant will get reimbursement of travel cost only after they complete online evaluation form the Erasmus Training Course tool, Mobility Tool. Also every participant should keep their travel ticket, invoice if possible. The travel cost will be reimbursement via bank transfer on the organization bank account. Money exchange You can exchange money in banks or local exchange offices, any of the choices is more or less good. At airport/bus station there is an exchange office. The exchange rate 1 euro to denar is 61.6 denars.
