It was a very great honour for me to be invited by The European Fine Art Foundation to exhibit my work for the first time at TEFAF Maastricht 2025 in the Netherlands, which took place March 15-20.

TEFAF Maastricht has been convened annually since 1988, and is widely regarded as the world’s premier event for fine art, antiques, jewellery and design. This year it brought together some 266 exhibitors from 21 countries on five continents, showcasing 7,000 years of art history from ancient to contemporary under the one roof.

Acknowledging the momentousness of the occasion, I curated a broad selection of my works to exhibit at the Fair. Whilst many of the pieces on display were existing designs, I created a number of new pieces specially for this event and the exhibition marked their very first public appearance since leaving our workroom.

It is therefore a pleasure to share with you now a selection of the pieces which featured at my exhibition stand at TEFAF Maastricht 2025. These include several masterworks created to headline my display – such as the Marina collier – as well as a number of new earrings, rings, necklaces and scene-stealing cuffs.

Marina

A spectacular collier that showcases three extraordinarily large gems at its center: a large seafoam aquamarine of 241.14ct, a green beryl (109.48ct) and an aquamarine (65.72ct)

Inspired by the Great Barrier Reef of Margot’s native Queensland, Australia, the gems have been arranged to evoke the colors of the shimmering tropical waters of the Coral Sea and the marine theme is underscored by the pearls – all of which were painstakingly harvested over several years from the pristine seas of Australia’s far-north.

Collier created with gemstones of significant size including pink tourmaline (104.94ct), kunzite (57.40ct) and morganite (38.58ct), along with an exceptional assemblage of twenty-four large Australian South Sea baroque pearls measuring 16.5-23.5mm. The piece is further enhanced with three pink tourmalines (62.73ct) and two kunzites (34.21ct), with diamonds, blue sapphires, pink sapphires, purple sapphires, tsavorites and pink tourmalines.

Collier featuring eight significant tourmalines (total 240.56ct) including a gem of 65.85ct at the center of the piece, along with an impressive collection of twenty-seven large Australian South Sea baroque pearls. The twenty-six pearls in the collier’s double strands measure 15-20mm, while a single, particularly rare example measuring 21 x 32mm is placed as the focal point beneath the hero tourmalines. Bloem is completed with white diamonds, brown diamonds, blue, pink and purple sapphires, pink tourmalines, amethysts and rubellites.
