Huge Waste Disposal

The Ministry of Municipality (Baladiya) offers a huge waste disposal service to residents of Qatar to help dispose of huge waste that is large in quantity or size including household furniture, clothes, wood, plastic, household electrical appliances, paper, iron, trees and any other non-hazardous materials. If you have waste that is difficult to dispose of in the regular garbage containers, Baladiya can collect it from you.

Throwing waste in public places is a clear violation of the Public Hygiene Law No 18 of 2017, and a report will be issued against violators if it is found that waste was thrown outside the house without coordination with the hygiene supervisor.

The free-of-charge service is available on request online via hukoomi.gov.qa, the Oun mobile app, or by contacting the Call Center on 184.

Requirements:

• Full name, mobile number and Qatar ID number.

• Home address (see your building's blue plate).

Please note the following:

• Construction, medical and chemical waste will not be removed.

• Waste will not be removed from inside homes. The applicant must place it outside the house after coordination with the cleaning supervisor.

• The number of requests per house should not exceed three times per year.

• The quantity of huge waste should not exceed one load per order, with a weight of three tons and these dimensions – length 350 cm, width 195 cm and height 95 cm.

• The service is available for homes only (citizens and residents) and does not include residential or commercial complexes or singles housing.

• Once the applicant has completed the application, it will take two to five days for the service to be conducted, depending on the requests received.
