Musical Tryouts: ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’
Happy Feet Dancers run through the audition tap dance taught by Mrs. Michelle Delisi. The third day of musical auditions consisted of tap dance tryouts for dancers and those shooting for a lead role.

Belt it out! Students stand in a semicircle as they run through their music before performing individually. Those hoping to audition picked up a short piece of music to practice the weekend before tryouts.
Stretch. Senior Caitie Vanhauer stretches while she waits for her turn to perform her tap dance routine for the judges. The girls were assigned numbers and then auditioned in groups of three.
Judges’ Approval. Mrs. Michelle Delisi, Mr. Luke Ostrander and Ms. Cathy Pruitte enjoy overseeing the musical tryouts. Mr. Al DiMauro and Mrs. Rachel Misiolek also helped judge the sinnging auditions on Monday, August 23.
Helping Hands. Ms. Christy Edris plays through the accompaniment for the students auditioning. As in years past, Ms. Edris will again be playing the piano for the show.
Laugh it up. Seniors Lauren James and Nicole Sojka and junior Grace Dickerson goof around during try outs. All three girls made this year’s cast.
