Hello, I am MarĂa. “I am still learningâ€? is a famous quote by Michelangelo. I relate to what he said because in design your are always learning something new regardless of wether you are a student, proffesional, or well known designer. Architecture constantly keeps me on my toes; there is never a dull moment. After completing each project, I gain more wisdom and creativity. Trough the design SURFHVV , DP Ă˝QGLQJ WKDW , OHDUQ more about myself and the world around me. There is always something new waiting for you to discover. Wether it be a new technique, technology, or shift in cultural values; architecture is forever changing with the ebb and ĂžRZ RI VRFLHW\ I consider the learning process in the design to be a blank page. The more that you learn about the subject matter you are working for, the more creative the ideas and solutions you can put onto that blank page. Your design is only as good as your willingness to keep learning and evolving as a designer. If you think about it, you never really stop learning. With every design I create, I learn something new every time. To me architecture keeps life interesting.

Playing architecture. How to start thinking Projecting is a symptom... Actually I have not stopped thinking about what the origin may be. What I do know is that the 'desire' that causes me It allows me to keep involved in projects with enthusiasm.

Final Thesis. “A Dance Conservatory in the Ciudad Universitaria of Madrid
This project emerge due to the necessity of the Superior Dance Conservatory of Madrid to have new headquarters as the building they are currently occupying in Carabanchel area does not have the right characteristics nor the bae conditions for a correct development of this teaching. The performance promotes creativity and artistics expression. It invites you to dance to the sun and to enjoy the amplitude of the gaze, where the dancers dance the space, living and making tangible an almost sublime connection with it. It’s about living poetically, driving the individual along a journey experiencing unexpected sensations. Architecture is a movements’ for the humand being, just as dance is the architecture of the body movements.
“Every art that does not have an inner ida of movement, lacks os a vital function. Every art, from music to architecture, can be reduced to something like dance. Dance by itself is the oldest expression we know Jean D’udine. 1910. L’art et le geste

The Ciudad Universitaria of Madrid was conceived as a synthesis of architecture and nature; nevertheless, the original idea has been distorted with the years and the successive enlargements of the faculties. One of the premises of action will be grouped under the same complete plan and wide park all the comforts and needs of the dance for the complete preparation.

[ FT ] The roof cover plan should be as light as possible in order to not generate an image of heaviness within the oneiric and sensitive environment of dance and nature. Thanks to the arins perforation on the structure from the trees, this plan does not carry out any physical barrier and therefore the vegetation will naturally absorb the water.

Removable pop-up cheese stand
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhZmCgirlRc&t=9s
A pop-up stand always separates the seller from the customer with the stand itself. Our proposal It is to create a chilling environment to taste the cheese and listen to the artisan explanations while They serve the cheese. It is not an usual pop-u stad, It is a table. The atisan will be closer with clients than the ones who are in the classic counter. Older people or children will wait sitting. Due to It size, It can be located in a public parking space. It will not take more space than a microcar. This strategy prevents occupying the sidewalk in case of not being located in a park or large plaza. The pop-up stand has a rigid transparent umbrella to prevent the fall of leaves and rain but to allow light.

Urban activators: Cow udders
The proposal of this urban action focuses on designing a mobile activator that will circulate around the streets of Madrid. These “cycle-activators” appear in the city as recreational, white, large and soft artifacts made out of a large clouded of balloons. These balloons symbolize the raw material used to make the artisan cheese that are intended to be promoted. They are cow, sheep or goat udders! It is made of recicled latex gloves as they are no been used in hospital because they are experied. They are throwing a way periodically and we are giving them a second life.

Temporary accommodations for guest artists. The idea of "DesnudARTE" is to run a performance with the invited artists that will house the temporary accommodations. We want to transmit the spirit of the place where we are going to stay, sincere as to showing the materials. That is why the PLADUR system is choosed, to turn it around, reinvent it and undress it.
As being accommodations of several artists, not necessarily of the same art, both the accommodation space and the work space as the exhibition are mean to be common and polyvalent, enriching the artist with the different looks of art.

Artemergente The current artistic situation in Madrid city is similar to the one in many other main capitals all over the world. There are great museums of great importance and tourist interest, such as “Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina SofĂaâ€? or “Museo Nacional del Pradoâ€?. But there’s one thing missing in this artistic environment, a place for the artists who still haven’t had a chance to show their skills. Wanting to achieve these goals; including that new artists have a place where they can show their artistic personality, that the basic knowledge to understand this emergent-art is taught and that the project is sustainable; we determine a few strategies for these objectives to be achieved. The project is set in disused spaces in the city. It has three different scales; the smallest is the neighborhood one, the median is the district one and the biggest is the city one; trying to generate working and exposition spaces, “schoolsâ€? and storage units, and a cultural focus respectively.

BECOME[ING] AN ARTIST When we visit an exhibition, the adrenaline invades our body and makes us feel the most fervent desire to take a brush, take a chisel or hold a pen to satiate all that creative potential that arises within us. Who would not like to get o an exhibition in which they tell you that the artist who exhibits is the one who visits it? "Become (ing) an artist" transforms a residual space and makes it useful, attractive and catchy. A removable workspace with exhibition spaces and places conducive to dialogue around the works exhibited. It is a blank canvas.
