I am grateful to my parents for their unconditional support & persistence. I was and still am inspired by Steffi Graf & Martina Hingis and dream to be like them one day.

Third player in the world to win first WTA tournament ever played. I played my first WTA tournament in 2009 inWarsaw. I started in the qualifying round and won my career’s first Premiere worth $600.000. I went up 80 rankings from no. 208 to 83 WTA. After winning my first WTA title at Warsaw in 2009, I was named Person of the Month by the daily Romanian newspaper Jurnalul National.
