gaming tradition #16 Tudor Tennis Trophy is a 16 year family tradition, a tournament where friends come together to play, watch and discuss tennis around the 15th of August each year starting 1999, at Tudor Tennis Arena. They say it’s the “social tennis event of the year”. This year TTT is bringing in a new approach: expanding the singles’ games, which will be played in groups and introducing a doubles trophy. The tournament lasts one week, Saturday to Friday the players meet to score points and battle to get into the final. The games become tougher and more intense by the year.
Saturday, August 16th is the final’s day! The custom is that players and guests arrive around 18h. The evening starts with a demo by the professional junior tennis players. After watching a set of ‘how its supposed to be done’, the finalists step in. They play. And play. And sometimes even argue. The public is picking sides and placing bets. By the final game of the Set, everyone is anxious, nervous, maybe a little hungry, and excited. Match ball. Game. Set. Match. We have a winner!!! We take group photos, interviews, more photos, listen to speeches and congratulations. The Tudor Tennis Trophy is awarded to the winner. The players’ WHITE party starts! All the contestants, guests, media, partners, organizers join us by the pool where the buffet is hot and the drinks are cold. The music is playing, the photos are being projected, the surprises keep coming.

supporting young talents 2014 is all about supporting a young tennis player, Mr. Cristian Vaduva, 14 years old who, during his 6 year tennis career has managed to obtain great achievements. Cristi ranks 36 in Romanian junior tennis.
The Tudors, with the help and involvement of friends and partners organize the 16th edition of Tudor Tennis Trophy, which has as a main focus to fund-raise Cristi’s one year expenses worth in order for him to pursue his dream. The funds will be raised from the participation tax each player will pay for each category they register for, from the raffle tickets that will be sold throughout the tournament and from direct donations.

the 15th edition Last year’s cause was to raise funds for junior champions Borza and Szekely, who showed their skills in a demo on the day of the final. The 15th Tudor Tennis Trophy final was disputed between the Danish Christoffer Koningsfeldt and the Romanian Alexandru Florea. The 3 set match was won by Alexandru Florea after a true battle. The after-party, hosted by the Tudors was a lovely dinner and socializing event where the guests got to know the young tennis champions and take part in a raffle with exquisite prizes offered by our most valued partners.
