The specific character of the building is the articulation of volumes, where the elements that make up the structure are not necessarily those who define the architectural space, but these are determined arbitrarily by the architect. The construction system is the result of a careful analysis for the time, although due to the poor quality of the materials and added to the lack of maintenance since the sixties, the building is currently in a state of alarming degradation. It is this circumstance that leads us to choose the Pellegrin project to implement a sustainable reform. A reform in which most of its energy consumption is solved with natural sources, or that its elements come from the recycling or recovery of materials, and that what is consumed every day by its inhabitants can be re-used or re-converted. Our proposal distributes the building on seven floors, including a public ground floor for shops and services. The remaining six are transformations, with the exception of the last, completelydesignedbyus
