LT. GEN. RICHARD P. MILLS

133

Commander, Marine Forces Reserve

“ As Marines and Sailors, we pride ourselves on our steadfast professionalism. Part of being a professional is knowing yourself and ‘seeking self improvement.’ In order to keep up with the ever-changing and uncertain global security environment, we must continually challenge ourselves both physically and mentally. Professional military education is one of the many ways Marines and Sailors can ensure they are up to this challenge. PME is not just a check in the box; it gives you tools that will not only enhance your career in the Marine Corps, but will play an important role in lifelong learning development. Challenge yourselves and your fellow Marines and Sailors to sharpen the mind, as it is one of our greatest weapons. Semper Fidelis.”
