Print

My prints are mainly inspired by the process of the decay, but with the hint of life from the pastel colours left within the subjects. From overlaying layers of coffee stains to concrete floors which looks like splattered paints.

PHOTOGRAPHY These kind of photographs attracts me because although they lie within the Black and White category, the overall feel is lighter. I have always liked the Japanese Photographer Hideaki Hamada ever since he published his first series of “Haru and Mina” which is a documentation of the lives of his two children. Although his main subjects of his Photographs are his children, he is involved with publications photography projects and my number one favourite is his set of work with Kinfolk Magazine - “Against the Grain”. The Photographs provide a sense of which the subjects tries to fit in, within their surroundings.
