FROM MTC’S MANAGING DIRECTOR Resilience is one of the words that captures the power of theatre for me. Resilience is abundant, from the artists who create what we see on stage to the staff, board, volunteers, and even audience members who support in the surrounding spaces. This year, MTC has experienced a monumental time of resilience. With every challenge, we have reached out and found a ready neighbor or opportunity that thrives in our team’s creative and capable hands. We have come through this time of resilience with reward, the reward of new relationships with members and businesses in the community, the reward of introducing innovative theatre, and the reward of ushering in a new era of leadership to launch the beginnings of great legacy. This point is where we are now, with you, as you join us in the theatre. As the tale of Dragon Lady unfolds, we learn that moments in time are part of a larger story, links connecting generations, years, and people.
