WePhoto “The Series” Animals vol 2 Dear all, I am very proud to introduce the new collection “The Series”. It was not so long ago since we have launched the first eBook, including the photographic work of the 10 administrators, who at that time were cooperating in the “WePhoto” group. Since then, we have published 21 eBooks and the Special edition “Calendar 2015” and now two Calendars 2016. This new collection – The Series - is made of different eBooks, each one (or more than one if required) related to a specific photographic theme, including the artworks of several authors from Italy and abroad. This is the Second eBook of the Fifth line of this new collection and has been dedicated to Animals Photography.
We are all so excited and happy to be able to collect such beautiful images and, most of all to be able to share them with a wide audience. Animals Con il secondo volume di questa nuova line ci troviamo immersi in questo mondo FANTASTICO. Un mondo nel quale siamo nati ma di cui, ormai, sappiamo pochissimo. Born in Fara Gera d’Adda (Bergamo, Italy) in 1965, he started devoting himself in photography when he bought his first camera in the year 2007. He immediately payed attention to naturalistic world and to animals in particular. Photography represents for him a way to comunicate with the world and to express his feelings of what he could not express in words.
He chose to observe animals as defenceless being’s and most of all common animals living in his land. He has always loved their innocence and he has always admired the elegance of their movements. He has tried to capture that moment in which power joins grace, strenght joins sweetness, ingenuousness joins shrewdness. Using his pictures, he would like to make people understand the beauty of animals in existence and their ability to share “feelings”. His purpose is to rejoin animals soul with human soul through animal photography. If his pictures make human being’s closer to animals with respect and make them discover the wonder that is still hidden in animals, then His photographic enthusiasm will strongly achieve the reasons of his adventure. His art, devored by patience and co-existance with the animals, is captured at unique moments that animals are in their natural world and nothing is done to disturb them or to create situations artificially. 9

Mi chiamo Giuseppe DíAmico e vivo a, Italy Per me la fotografia naturalistica rappresenta lo strumento per esercitare la voglia di avventura, di esplorazione, di conoscenza di mondi, genti e culture diversi, di contatto con la natura selvaggia. In tal senso, fotografia, natura, viaggi, conoscenza di nuovi mondi e culture sono elementi che si compenetrano e si integrano per alimentare non solo una passione ma un vero e proprio stile di vita. L'obiettivo fotografico diventa quindi l'arma con cui combattere l'abitudine e la banalità del quotidiano di una modernità che tutto sta appiattendo, contaminando, capace di testimoniare, allo stesso tempo la bellezza e i valori spirituali di cui il creato è portatore.
My name is Giuseppe D'Amico and I live in L'Aquila, Italy For me nature photography is the instrument for exercising the desire for adventure, exploration, knowledge of worlds, people and different cultures, contact with wild nature. In this sense, photography, nature, travel, knowledge of new worlds and cultures are elements that penetrate and integrate to power not only a passion but a real lifestyle. The lens then becomes a weapon with which to fight the habit and banality of everyday life of a modernity that everything is flattening, contaminating, capable of witnessing at the same time the beauty and spiritual values of which creation is the bearer. 21

I like to define myself a traveller, by my idea the best way to show the beauties of this world is to immortalize them in a photograph. Travels brought me to find out the photography magic world, I will never forget the instant when I decided to buy first reflex, a Valencia in 2010, when my compact camera didnĂt (reward) my fantasy and my willing of snapping.
Travel photography is a way to get in touch with the locals and their culture, recently in my last trips in Burma, Bali, Russia, Mauritius, Zanzibar and Tanzania I felt unique emotions and most of these moments will last not only in my heart but also in the photos I took back home. After so many years of passion I can say that I love photography in all its sides (aspects): portraits, travel photography, landscapes, street.. but my biggest love is the naturalistic photography. I first discovered it in 2014 in a fantastic safari in Tanzania. Finding yourself in touch with the nature and animals make me feeling good and in peace with everything. As soon as the daily life allows me, I look forward to embrace my beloved reflex to spend hours and hours waiting for the perfect snapshot, with the right dynamism, that could show the animal at his best in front of my lens. I am Samuele Mambelli, I am 27 years old, I live in Italy, Forlimpopoli (FC)...I am not a photographer, but a photography lover. 33

Il mio concetto di FOTOGRAFIA è … STUPIRE l’OCCHIO. Realizzare immagini con soggetti comuni riuscendo nell’intento di impressionare chi le osserva. Nel periodo dell’ANALOGICO ho realizzato diversi Servizi Matrimoniali, ho partecipato a vari CONCORSI a Tema con buoni risultati. L’avvento del DIGITALE mi ha costretto all’utilizzo del COMPUTER e alla CAMERA CHIARA. Ho tanta strada da percorrere in tal senso ma non sono il tipo che molla facilmente…quindi sono convinto di poter migliorare. Quando fotografo…provo emozioni indescrivibili, e il pensiero di trasferire COLORI, SOGGETTI, SFUMATURE, MOMENTI di VITA all’interno della mia REFLEX mi rende una persona felice. GRAZIE FOTOGRAFIA….!!!
My concept of PHOTOGRAPHY ... SURPRISE EYE . Composite images with common subjects managing to impress the viewer . In the period of analogue I made several Wedding Services , I took part in various competition Theme with good results . The advent of the DIGITAL forced me to use the COMPUTER and "chambre claire" . I have long way to go in this direction, but I'm not a person that let to go very easily.. so I'm sure I can improve. When I photograph.. I feel indescribable emotions ,and the thought of transferring COLORS, SUBJECTS, TONES, MOMENT OF LIFE within my REFLEX makes me an happy person . THANK PHOTOGRAPHY ... . !!! 45

Nata e cresciuta nella provincia di Monza e Brianza, vivo circondata da numerosi labrador. L’amore per questi retriever ha portato alla costruzione di un allevamento e la passione per la fotografia mi ha poi indotto a condividere le sensazioni che essi mi trasmettono. In ogni scatto cerco di immortalare l’attimo in cui, all' apice di un’azione, si evidenzia la loro forza e potenza. Nei ritratti cerco di fermare l’attimo in cui manifestano quella forte espressività che li caratterizza. La fotografia vissuta in questo modo diventa per me un piacere e uno stimolo per migliorare tecnicamente cercando di suscitare emozioni.
Born and raised in the province of Monza and Brianza, I live surrounded by many labrador dogs. The love for these retriever led to the construction of a kennel and passion for photography has also led me to share the feelings they convery to me. In every shot I try to capture the moment when, at the height of an action, it highlights their strength and power. In portraits I try to stop the moment in which show the strong expressiveness that characterizes them. Nato a Vicenza il 19 febbraio 1971 e vivo in provincia di Vicenza. Ho sempre avuto interesse per la fotografia fin da piccolo, ma la vera passione è nata all’incirca quattro anni fa con l’acquisto della mia prima reflex digitale,una Eos 40D. Iniziai a riprendere le scene curiose dei miei cani e da li è nato il mio interesse sempre più crescente verso questo genere di fotografia. Strada facendo, ho conosciuto vari amici con i quali ho iniziato a condividere questa passione e con alcuni ho stretto amicizia, ho ricevuto preziosi aiuti e consigli e ci si trova anche a scattare insieme!...un ringraziamento speciale a voi di WePhoto che contribuite a dare visibilità ai nostri lavori.
Born in Vicenza February 19, 1971 and I live in the province of Vicenza . I have always been interested in photography since childhood , but the realpassion was born four years ago with the purchase of my first Digital SLR, a Eos 40D . I began to take the curious scenes of my dogs and from there was born my increasingly growing interest towards this kind of photography. Riccardo Trevisani, classe 1964, nasce a Fermo (AP) e a 4 anni si trasferisce a Milano dove nell’adolescenza disegna per alcune riviste e libri con dei disegni a fumetti, poi si appassiona alla fotografia e impara i primi rudimenti con una pentax k1000. Vive ora in provincia di Pavia, ha sempre amato la natura e il mondo animale e da circa due anni si è appassionato alla fotografia naturalistica e allo studio del comportamento dell’avifauna selvatica presente nella sua zona. Da sempre è affascinato dal mondo animale. I suoi scatti sono il frutto di un’attenta osservazione del soggetto da ritrarre, costantemente, quasi giornalmente, si reca nelle campagne e boschi della sua zona. La natura e i suoi colori fanno parte della sua vita e del suo essere e nele sue foto cerca di comunicare al mondo l’esistenza di essa, spesso dimenticata per il nostro frenetico modo di vivere.
Riccardo Trevisani was born in Fermo (AP) in 1964. At the age of four he moves to Milano where, during adolescence, he draws for magazines and comics books, and later he gets passionate about photography, taking his first steps with an old Pentax k1000. Currently he lives near Pavia; he has always loved nature and particularly animals, indeed over the last two years he’s grown fond of natural photography and he studies passionately the behavior of the wild birds present in his area. His photo shoots are the results of a careful observation of the subjects, and he goes out in the woods nearby almost every day. Nature and its colors are part of his life, and with his camera he tries to communicate it to the world, since people forget too often about it, being so busy with their frenetic lives. Riccardo thinks that the hardest part of being a natural photographer is to be original, and he always works hard to succeed (at this). 81
