Landcapes 2020 - Vol. 12 Dear all, I am very proud to present this collection of some of the best works in Landscapes under our banner that is fondly called - The Series. Since 2014, when WePhoto Group was founded, we have come all this long out of our sheer passion for photography. Over the time, thanks to the continuous help and support of our many likeminded colleagues, who the group draws strengths from, that today we have created multiple platforms and thematic pages to represent the various genres in photography. Today WePhoto group has the widest presence across Facebook representing almost every possible genre of photography. As of date there are 12 thematic pages, with picture boards on Pinterest, a dedicated web portal and more than 90 books published on issuu.com. This annual collection called - The Series - is made of eBooks each belonging to a specific photographic genre, and includes the artwork of several great authors from Italy and abroad. The one in your hands is the eleventh thematic book dedicated to Landscapes Photography. Apart from the e-version these publications are available in the form of coffee table books as well. Gratitude Special thanks to Francesco Marinaro, Chief of WePhoto Landscape Page, who helped me select images, contact authors and collect material from them. He can always be seen coordinating things in the back office. Thanks to all the authors who have made this volume such a great collection with their valuable contributions. I also wish to thank Germana De Chellis for her impeccable layout and cover designs and to Pankaj Anand and Priyanka Agrawal, who are responsible for English translations, proofreading of drafts, and content development. I owe my thanks to our admin colleagues too, who are constantly managing and taking care of the group as well as its 12 thematic pages and online magazines and are ardently bringing forth the best photographers from across the globe. I have no words to express my gratitude to the wonderful work they do every day with great passion and dedication. WePhoto Network the Founder Mario BunÄ?uga

Landscapes Introduction
One may be curious why a 100 persons sitting at the edge with cameras in their hands would love clicking the same sunset that occurs almost every next day. Will all their images not look the same once finished? Well, one possible reason could be that nature is as dynamic as it is static. So every day brings new opportunities within the same canvas. There is abundant beauty in nature and you will always feel like belonging to it no matter how long you continue looking at it. But the reason that comes to my mind and I strongly agree with is that it brings about a strong emotion in you. You can pick a part of the spectacle, recreate it your way and you become the owner of your own little universe. You could do the same with a painting with even more freedom and control but in photos you are appreciating the real world that you live in. The pleasure of actually having been there to witness it is as real as the scene before you. The air, the fragrance, the color and the touch is more than the worth of effort that goes into reaching there and taking your photo. Money can buy you acres of land but here the whole planet is yours. You add or avoid elements, shift angles and choose your points of view to make your compositions unique, something more than a record shot, something no words can describe. Such is the collection we present before you that will make you feel as if you actually were there and you will love watching it as much as we did making it. Mario BunÄ?uga March 2020

BENEDETTO FERLITO Acireale, Italia 500px.com/benedettoferlito flickr.com/photos/123729421@N02/ nikonschool.it/life/scogliere.php
I consider myself to be a humble amateur, a curious observer of life as well as landscapes, who expresses his social bonding through photography. I try to express my moods through my photos- strong colors when I am elated, in cold, gloomy light when I am unhappy, or black and white when I am furious.
. Soon after I started with photography trying all sorts of , I met a person who showed me a direction, taught me to use the dSLR and eventually became my mentor and best friend. With time I learned to use the graduated filters and post processing software optimally. I also studied for two years to earn a few certifications in post production. I continued to participate in photographic events and excursions and in turn made a lot of new friends and gained new experiences. Apart from these, I also write articles that keep getting published in print and online mediums. I love landscape photography using the long exposure ND filters, but I also love to watch the spectacle in front of my eyes for hours before I decide to press the shutter. I strongly believe that photography gives you pleasure in all its steps, starting from composition to the post work in front of a computer. 10

JENNY CAMERON Higlands, Scotland jennycameron.uk facebook.com/JennyCameronPhotog viewbug.com/member/jennycameron
Jenny Cameron is a British Fine Art Landscape Photographer known for her unique, creative and evocative style based in the northern Scottish Highlands. She always had a passion for the great outdoors/travel. Most of her holidays and free time were either spent long distance backpacking, hiking, climbing or skiing. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with a rare bone disease at an age of 35, which had put an end to her adventures and spiraled her into a dark place.
A few years later she found solace taking photos whilst walking her dogs in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland using a basic point & shoot camera. Finally she took the plunge and purchased her first Canon dSLR in October 2015. Jenny has had many local & international successes over the past few years including displaying her landscape images in American, English & Scottish art exhibitions, front cover publication of the prestigious Scottish Field magazine; also several other photography magazine publications and became an Ambassador to Haida filter and Topaz Labs. 34

JOĂƒO FREIRE Evora, Portugal facebook.com/joe.flinder facebook.com/joaofreirephotography
My name is JoĂŁo Freire and I am Portuguese, born on 29/09/1974 in Evora, Portugal.
I started photography about eight years ago and have ever since developed a passion for it. I am a self taught photographer and have gained experience by seeing great photos, reading photography books and working by trial and error. I think we all must remain open to learning until our death. Most of my works are landscapes shots. My equipment is Canon 5D MKII, lenses EF 16-35 f/2.8 L-II and EF 24-105 f/4 L-IS and I compensate the exposure with LEE ND and ND grad filters. For my long exposures I am inevitably using tripod and cable release. 46

PIERLUIGI CUNA Salerno, Italia
facebook.com/pierluigi.cuna1 facebook.com/magazzino
I was born in 1968 in a country in Sicily. I have a passion for photography since the age of fourteen when I was given an instant "Polaroid". Since then, I have continued to explore this fantastic world. Continuing with the times, I started photographing with my father's camera, an analog ZEISS, handheld, and then I went on to try the other camera bodies and the processing in a darkroom
Since the advent of digital, things have changed radically. I love living with people, watching communities. It is the desire to photograph that continually pushes me to go to see elsewhere, where I always realize new images. I prefer Street Photography because I like to watch people in gestures and moods, where I a lw a y s t r y t o c a p t u re t h e i r e m o t i o n s . "Photography is for me a journey through which I like telling the mute scenes of life." 58

RAPHAEL BATTOIA Paris, France flickr.com/photos/148266696@N02/albums instagram.com/le_capricieux_photographe/ facebook.com/lecapricieuxphotographe/
I live and work in France in Brie Comte Robert near Paris.
Totally self-taught and I am proud of it. I never took a photography course. I took my first silver photographs 40 years ago by jumping from a plane during my military service in the paratroopers. In August 2019 I had the opportunity to go to India in the isolated region of Zanskar on a humanitarian medical mission. During this mission we travelled more than 1000 kms in the mountains of the Himalayas and discovered these dreamlike grandiose places. 70

SERGIO BARBONI Macerata, Italia www.sibillini-mtb.it www.bikersincresta.com 500px.com/barbonis
I was born in Camerino and have always been passionate about photography. I shoot for personal pleasure even if I have had professional experiences related to the world of outdoor and mountain biking.
The frequency of the mountains range, hills and ancient villages that characterize my territory have naturally brought me closer to landscape photography that alternates with sports photography. The proximity to the Umbria region, where I have lived for three years, has allowed me to broaden my photographic experiences in similar but equally fascinating contexts, where art and nature come together in perfect harmony and where it is easy to find inspiration to develop new photographic projects. 82
