WePhoto Landcapes Vol. 9 Dear all, I am very proud to present this collection of some of the best works in Landscapes under our banner that is fondly called - The Series. Since 2014, when WePhoto Group was founded, we have come all this long out of our sheer passion for photography. Over the time, thanks to the continuous help and support of our many likeminded colleagues, who the group draws strengths from, that today we have created multiple platforms and thematic pages to represent the various genres in photography. Today WePhoto group has the widest presence across Facebook representing almost every possible genre of photography. As of date there are 12 thematic pages, with picture boards on Pinterest, a dedicated web portal and more than 80 books published on issuu.com. This annual collection called - The Series - is made of eBooks each belonging to a specific photographic genre, and includes the artwork of several great authors from Italy and abroad. The one in your hands is the ninth thematic book dedicated to Landscapes Photography. Apart from the e-version these publications are available in the form of coffee table books as well Editorial Board Mario BunÄ?uga: Editor & Art Director Germana De Chellis: Chief Graphic Designer Pankaj Anand: Review Associate Priyanka Agrawal: Review Associate Francesco Marinaro: Landscapes Group Leader

Landscapes One may be curious why a 100 people sitting at the edge with cameras in their hands would love clicking the same sunset that occurs almost every next day. Will all their images not look the same once finished? Well, one possible reason could be that nature is as dynamic as it is static. So every day brings new opportunities within the same canvas. There is abundant beauty in nature and you will always feel like belonging to it no matter how long you continue looking at it. But the reason that comes to my mind and I strongly agree with is that it brings about a strong emotion in you. You can pick a part of the spectacle, recreate it your way and you become the owner of your own little universe. You could do the same with a painting with even more freedom and control but in photos you are appreciating the real world that you live in. The pleasure of actually having been there to witness it is as real as the scene before you. The air, the fragrance, the color and the touch is more than the worth of effort that goes into reaching there and taking your photo. Money can buy you acres of land but here the whole planet is yours. You add or avoid elements, shift angles and choose your points of view to make your compositions unique, something more than a record shot, something no words can describe. Such is the collection we present before you that will make you feel as if you actually were there and you will love watching it as much as we did making it. Mario BunÄ?uga June 2018

DOMINIQUE RICHEUX Antibes, France 500px.com/domirchx instagram.com/dominique_richeux_photography/ facebook.com/Photography.Domi.Art

I am a landscapes, cityscapes, macro, portrait and travel photographer - in fact I do almost everything this art has to offer. I live in France in French Riviera. I love to shoot the Milky Way as much as I do shooting a fashion model. I make sure to get the best out of my travels in terms of photographic opportunities.

I started photography in the year 2014 with a Canon 700D. Currently I am using a full frame format Canon EOS 5D Mark2 with a range of pro lenses. I love shooting long exposures, while trying to maintain a natural look and feel with colors and luminosity. 10

ELENA SALVAI Carrara, Italia facebook.com/SalvaiElena/?pnref=story facebook.com/elena.salvai.96 instagram.com/elenasalvai.photo/

I was born in Carrara, Italy and have always been a great lover of nature, open spaces, and all other elements in perfect harmony with the freedom of spirit. After studying at university, I started trekking in the Apuan Alps. The breathtaking sceneries of these mountains rising from the sea, lead her to this passion for photography, wherein she found a perfect way to immerse herself deeply in nature and be able to seize certain unrepeatable moments forever.

Apart from the publication in many magazines and books, including Oòtre, I have participated in exhibitions such as: Dalmine Maggio Photography; International Photographic Exhibition 'In search of a lost memory’; Tramonti Italiani in Pietrasanta; biennial of Riomagno Fotofestival; and again Rimini, Viareggio and Colle Val D’elsa; Exhibition and informative evening at the Alfieri theater in Castelnuovo Garfagnana; personal exhibition in Rivanazzano Terme and participation in the international nature photography festival of Montier in France. 22

ENRICO RAIMONDO Capua, Italia facebook.com/Enrico.Raimondo.Photography

I was born in 1972, and as a boy I was enchanted by the photographs of any kind. It was around 2011, I began to enjoy photographing in the beautiful capital of Stockholm. I was enthusiastic about the photos with a small mirrorless that I took home. I also began to read books on the history of p h o t o g r a p h y a n d o n t h e w o r ks o f g re a t photographers; and that is how I began to appreciate the spirit with which these exquisite works were done in photographic art. This made me even more excited and prompted me to continue with my reading and practice with whatever little free time was available.

The quality of pictures I had started taking, pushed me further to the process of postproduction. I may like to do any photographic genre, but my primary passion lies in landscapes. The final outcome after going through the image processing phase may sometimes represent a compromise between the elements I had visualized and I could create. But I feel that any place, not even being well-known, may look stunning with right kind of compositional and post-production skills. A landscape shot, taken at the right moment, with the right light and weather conditions, can become enchanting, dramatic, soul-awakening, and this is what I feel to show through my works. 34

MASSIMO CERRINI Milano, Italia facebook.com/massimo.cerrini.9 Instagram.com/maxk03

My name is Massimo Cerrini and I am fondly known as Max. I was born in Milan in 1976. People call me fussy for my relentless search for the perfect framing but the fact remains that I cannot leave anything to chance. I have always been passionate about graphic arts since my childhood. But I really had to delve into my heart to find that it is photography that I can best exert my interests in to. Sometimes you are disappointed after seeing the results but the best part of photography is that you can improve it.

At the beginning it was hard being a self-taught artist but on the way I found friends who helped me to understand the intricate concepts and techniques. The difference in macro and landscape photography is in the details for a normal eye see. In former case is it is in abundance as the subject is larger than life but in latter it is exactly opposite. I like traveling to discover new scenarios and immortalize those unique moments where my eyes remain enchanted by the beauty of nature or by what surrounds me. Photography for me is a blend of emotion, vision and patience. 46

MASSIMO DELLA LATTA Massarossa, Italy facebook.com/dellalattamassimo massimo.fineart-portugal.com/photos

The photography journey of Massimo Della Latta began eleven years ago. He is a totally selftaught person and has not attended any course or workshop. But he always kept himself engaged in research and developing compositional techniques. He lives near the sea and therefore, his initial photographs essentially involved this element. He uses ND 110 filter to emphasize the skies and smoothen the waves.

Of late his curiosity has switched from classic landscapes to various other genres like street, architecture, abstract, portraits, etc. But whatever he does he always ensures a minimalist approach to his works. He has won several competitions, and has got published in some local and international magazines. He does not have a personal website but you can see his works on his Facebook page or at the Fine Art Portugal website http:// massimo.fineart-portugal.com/photos 58

MATTEO PAPPADOPOLI Bari, Italia instagram.com/matteo_pappadopoli/ facebook.com/eleonora.valenzano.9

I am Matteo Pappadopoli, born in Bari in 1968, married and father of two wonderful boys, Giuseppe and Antonella. My passion for photography came from traveling with my family. In fact, my first camera, an analog Canon, was presented to me by my wife before getting married, and since then I cannot do without it.

My initial photos were meant for our holidays in an attempt to freeze those moments. Nowadays, in addition to encapsulating the passage of time, I like to capture and showcase our beautiful land that offers breathtaking scenery. I prefer landscape and street photography with the use of filters. In 2017 I participated in a competition announced by Phest that resulted in my becoming one of the winners and gave me the honor to exhibit one of my photos with international artists in Monopoli. Three of my photos have also been published in Puglia special edition of the magazine "The Trip". My idea of photography starts with the eyes and remains in the heart. 70

I love landscape, architecture, product and portrait photography, the black and white photography being my favorite.
