WePhoto - 2015 - Street - Vol 1

WePhoto “The Series” Street Dear all, I am very proud to introduce the new collection “The Series”. It was not so long ago since we have launched the first eBook, including the photographic work of the 10 administrators, who at that time were cooperating in the “WePhoto” group. Since then, we have published 21 eBooks and the Special edition “Calendar 2015” and now two Calendars 2016. This new collection – The Series - is made of different eBooks, each one (or more than one if required) related to a specific photographic theme, including the artworks of several authors from Italy and abroad. This is the First eBook of the second line of this new collection and has been dedicated to Street Photography.

We are all so excited and happy to be able to collect such beautiful images and, most of all to be able to share them with a wide audience. Spread, share, recommend everyone to download eBooks from our webpages and links below. Also make sure to leave your feedback on the eStores – 5 stars comments would be great. RATE IT! You can really help us growing and sharing our beloved passion for photography! In this eBook you can also find the links to our Facebook Group. Come and join, invite friends to share and enjoy some of the best images from around the world!

In the photograph exist, as in all things, the people who can see and others who do not know even look. Nadar (Gaspard Felix Tournachon) 8

Giovanni

Giovanni Paolini Milano, Italy Photography has always been my hobby and my only passion: since the time I used to shot with film, I’ve been focused on improving the esthetics and the technical quality of each picture. In the 70’s and in the 80’s, I was deeply involved in the activity of the Photographic Club in Milan, and I used to develop all my black and white pictures in my own dark room. I was often taking part to photographic competitions, getting awards and recognition, and I had many chances to showcase my work in individual and group exhibitions. I was always trying to enhance my skills listening to other fellows advices, visiting exhibitions and reading magazines and books. Back then, I spent long time with Mario Giacomelli, the “Maestro”, which changed my perspective on photography: since then, he has been my benchmark and my favorite photographer, and the time we spent together chatting and working has been a wonderful and unforgettable life experience. After a hiatus that lasted more than 10 years, i went back to photography, this time using digital cameras. I like to use simple cameras, and to think that I don’t need reflex with interchangeable lenses to get good pictures. What I aim for is to catch with a picture the ephemeral moods of life; but I don’t know what exactly is photography to me. I don’t know as well what I’m going to shoot. A light, a face, a wall. I don’t give credit to the moment I shot. It’s the total freedom of emotions that drives me: when I’m shooting, the world around me disappears and there is just me, the l i g h t , a n d m y e m o t i o n s .
And if these moments interest and engage other people, in any way, I’m just happy. That’s it.”

Max

Max Babini Faenza, Italy Ho 52 anni,.

My name is Max Babini and I'm 52 years old. Photography is my way to testify an event, to tell a story or an emotion, to block time for a moment that you can live later. Watching a photo I wanna feel the passage of the Time but at the same time to live again with thrill. Photos tell anytime something because images are always and everywhere all around us and they only need to be catched. I don't have a favorite style but I am attracted by Urban and Street Photography but I like better taking pictures outdoors because I take advantage of the games of lights and shadows of the day. My photos have life when my eyes and my hearts meet something special, a special moment. Anyway Photography is fun and pleasure and it makes better my time.

Renato

La curiosità in me innata mi porta a sviluppare la fotografia di strada dove trovo grandi possibilità creative. photographically I am born in 1985, with a basic course in photography, for a year I try a form espressivache represent me, dropping the picture into oblivion lasted vent'anni.Con the advent of digital technology and the purchase of a small Nikon colpix I as a "relapse passionate". In digital I find all those expressive possibilities that I had in analog, slowly passion becomes stronger, the innate curiosity in me leads me to develop a picture of the street where I find great creative possibilities.’ 44

Salvo Esse

Salvo Esse Bronte (CT), Italy

My name is Salvatore Savoca. On the web, I am called Salvo Esse. I am 35 years old and I was born in Bronte, a small city located at the foot of the Etna volcano. If someone was to asked me how my passion for photography has developed, I would not know where to begin. I can surely say that it has started almost two years ago, and from that day on me and my camera have been inseparable. I would define myself as an autodidact and, until now, I have not been attending any course. The first things to be photographed have been landscapes. I have always been in love with photos full of light and color effects. This has been until the day I have discovered a much more deep interest for photos in black and white. The best memory of that moment that I bring with me is the one of myself in a dark room with a thin light entering from a broken window. All of this resembled a typical black and white atmosphere streaking my imagination since the very beginning. It is only through photography that I feel myself at ease when expressing my inner emotions and thoughts. It also represents a way for me to try to understand people thinking and to capture them in the best way possible. Photography has the power to take off the mask that everyone wears. That is why, when I can give my photos a soul, I can say that I have given a “real” heart to my camera. I would translate this process into my appreciation for Street Photography. What do I think of photography? In my personal opinion, photography is like Noah’s ark, which contains and protects emotions, feelings and moments of life revivable in time.

LUCA FECAROTTA https://www.facebook.com/fecaluca fecaluca@gmail.com www.reportfromtheworld.altervista.org

Luca

Luca Fecarotta Fano, Italy Hello everyone! Let me introduce myself… my name is Luca, i’m 31 and i’m a passionate traveler and photographer. Basically, i left my hometown almost 4 years ago with a big backpack that i consider my actual home, and my first beloved camera. I’m born in a small city called Pesaro in the middle east of Italy, and since i left i dedicated myself to this passion called photography. I love photography but i also love to travel and discover new cultures and religions. What i do is trying to learn all i can, to grow up and increase my knowledge... in the world there are so many differences, so many different ways of living and thinking that everyday there is something new to learn. I would call myself a discoverer, an adventurer, and through my photos i want to show the REAL life of the countries that i visit. I want to share everything i learn about the cultures, the customs, the rituals, the festivals.. the common people are my main characters. I love to tell stories about real life, capturing the people's gestures and their different habits. I believe that are all the small things that happen daily, that make the culture of a country… and not the big event which you can see on TV. Therefore i love to have a wonder through the streets and observe the ordinary life, understand the customs and capture them with my camera. I’ve never studied anything about photography and i’ve started not even 4 years ago, but i’m always observing different authors to get inspiration and improve myself finding my own style. Photography has totally changed my life, my way of seeing what surround me everyday. This is what i want to do for living and what i’m doing every single day: traveling, discovering, learning and capture everything through my photos.
