The conference will take place from April 2426 at Camp Wawbeek in the Wisconsin Dells, and will provide Circle K'ers with an experience they'll never forget! You'll have the opportunity to do some "super" service projects for camp, meet other Circle K'ers from all over Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, participate in fun and engaging workshops, test your superhero knowledge, and much, much more! Ahrens’ Alcove Applying for international awards may seem like a huge feat when you first think about doing it. But I’m here to tell you that it really isn’t and many of you have already done much of the work already to apply. One of the many awesome things about our district is that the award forms that you filled out for District Convention are very very very similar to those that Circle K International releases. This means that you can use the ones you already filled out to complete the international forms. The award forms can be found here and include the following awards: Club Achievement Award Club Video Award Preferred Charities and Service Partners Award Club Single Service Award The ELIMINATE Project Award Club Outstanding Kiwanis Family Relations Award My man, J Hahn, made a good point at a meeting. He said that because we in WUM set very high standards for our district, what we do is incredible and needs to be celebrated. So here is your call. If you won an award at DCON that is listed above, take the time to complete the international award form. If you applied for an award but didn’t win, fill out the international form. What we do in WUM is outstanding. When one of our clubs wins an award at International Convention, ICON becomes so exciting. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work of your club and its members. Clubs not attending CKIx have to have awards postmarked by June 1st. Those that do can hand them in when they arrive. Let Kayla (kahrens44@gmail.com) know if you have any questions or need any help.

Bay College We managed to get a Circle K started at Bay last semester, our group is filled with dedicated and eager students willing to get out and help our school and community. We have a total of sixteen members and are still growing. We’ve done events like hosting a Game Night to donate nonperishable food items to our local Salvation Army, Bell Ringing at local grocery stores, picking an Angel from our local Angel Tree, helping in local classrooms with Art Projects, volunteering with the Blood Drive and are currently working on a Speed Dating event for the college and community.

Letter from the Editor
Dearest WUM Members, Wow, what an amazing journey you have provided me with this past year. As a district, we have overcome some incredible feats and surpassed expectations. As District Bulletin Editor, I have been granted the opportunity to record all of these awesome moments for you, and I thank you for that. Each and every one of you inspires me to be a better person and to continue striving toward a more compassionate world. I owe many people in this district an endless amount of gratitude, but I am the most thankful for the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan members like yourselves. (Especially those who turned in submissions on time and submitted happygrams…) You are all very precious human beings with beautiful souls. I knew I would struggle with what to say in my last “Letter to the Editor”…. and here I am, struggling. I think I will keep it short and simple by saying that I have immensely enjoyed serving as Bulletin Editor for WUM this past year and I am so very grateful for your continued support along the way. Even when I had some novelty ideas, such as happygrams and a few “special” editions, I received nothing but encouragement. While I have stepped down from assuming a role on the district board, I am always just an e-mail or phone call away! Yours in Service, Marissa Blackmore
