Imagination is the soil that brings dreams to life. – Anonymous The title of this little book hopefully will fire up some of those better to be forgotten imaginations, those imaginations that tantalize the emotions of past experiences and fantasies that seem to be so real that the feelings attached to them make your heart flutter and skip a beat, those imaginations, and fantasies that create those thoughts, thoughts that are so personal that they could make you blush and catch your breath as they conjure up better to be ignored imaginations. Those imaginations that influence our emotions. If the title of this book has in any way got your imaginary juices flowing then I have achieved the result that I was hoping for.

This incredible ability is only present in the human being no other living thing on the face of the earth has the capability the brain capacity of creative thought no other living thing on earth has the capability of critical thought no living thing on the earth has the ability of imagination the ability to image no other living thing on earth has the ability that can be used to influence, shape and change their lives and the lives of other human beings as well as things around them.

I have often wondered what the purpose of the imagination is, why do we have this incredible ability,

That state of mind where anything and everything could be possible in the realm of imagination. That state of mind where the thoughts and the imaginations of the image held constantly on the screen of your mind will produce emotions and corresponding physical effects and feelings in the body that are the direct effects of that which we are giving our full attention to.

I believe that the imagination is much more than just a tool of regret a condemning tool of " just imagine how it could have been different if we only said and did things a different way, how different the outcome could have been".Ibelieve our imaginations can be used in the most constructive and positive way to effect change, develop and direct our lives in the most positive way. But for us to be able to use our imaginations to create this positive life we first have to find out what the imagination is and how it works.

was it given to us to rehearse and replay the events of the day, regretting those things that we've done and the thing which did not work out, those things that caused pain and suffering not only in our lives but in the lives of others that we had dealings with, or is it there to stroke our ego, or is it there for us to plot our revenge on our enemies or is it there to try and figure out a solution to the next problem we might face.

I see my imagination as the movie theater of life the theater of my hopes and dreams of those things that the world would label as crazy, improbable, impossible and mad, it is here that I can take these thoughts and play them on the screen of the theater of my mind and create images where I can live out my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes of the future.

It is in this theater of the mind that unspoken inspiration and inventive ideas are given birth too, it is only here that the incredulous thought has no restriction to arrogantly flaunt itself as fact and grow and take on a life of its own and through nurturing and persistence of thought it can evolve into a compatible material manifestation in the real world.

It is in this theater of the mind that I can imagine that I can become whatever I can dream of, and there in the theater of the mind in can act out that life no matter how crazy it might be without the danger of it hurting myself or anybody else.

One less acclaimed but yet great inventor Nikola Tesla made his inventing workshop in the theater of this mind is was said of Tesla that did not need a physical model to test his inventions they appeared before him in the theater of his mind as functioning realities that he could stop and start as if they were really in front of him.

But his friend saw nothing. Imagination is more important that knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. – Albert Einstein There is a sobering twist to this wonderful ability that we call the imagination, and that is, it is not the harmless innocent playground and theater of the mind. The imagination, unbeknown to most is the starting point, the blueprint, the architect, the initiator, the conception of who you are today.

Our thoughts and imagination are inseparably linked together like two sides of a coin, two distinctly different images but joined together on one and the same coin.

Another example of this is water, water and wet cannot be separated, it is impossible to be immersed in water and not get wet. Water and wet go together. We might not always think of the two being one but when we work around water we know there is the possibility of getting wet, but if we immerse ourselves in water we know we will get wet. So it is, with the imagination and our thoughts.

If you can dream it, you can become it. – William Arthur Ward I once knew a person who had an identity issue, they did not know if they wanted to be Italian or Greek, Portuguese or Brazilian this person was unsure of his place in the world and had a cultural and nationality identity crisis. It was always interesting visiting this person as you never knew when you knocked on his door

I observed how he changed from one nationality to the next, he would get magazines and watch movies and the nationality of the character in one of these movies would take his fancy, he would start dressing like them, he would start speaking English in with a foreign accent, he would start eating the food that nationality would eat, he would change the color and style of his hair to suit that nationality.Overaperiod of time, he settled into a chosen nationality and eventually immersed himself in their culture and beliefs and even the acquired an authentic sounding accent learned to speak the language.

On one occasion I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with him and had the chance to ask him a few questions, I asked him how was it possible for you to become Italian when you were born British and there is no Italian in your family lineage, his answer was simple I

the negative agenda of the world we live in, we find it extremely difficult, yes even impossible for us to have an original thought, our thought processes are being manipulated and controlled by that which society and social media have planned through Hollywood, social media, and the Society of the day all in a battle trying to gain control of our thoughts.

The pharmaceutical companies and the advertising companies know exactly how to use the power of suggestion and images to influence and conjure up the thoughts and imaginations they need us to have to identify with the image of suffering from that ailment or disease that they are promoting on the screen of our mind, as we continually see ourselves identifying with that ailment or disease, our imagination starts to link up emotions and feelings to correspond with that which we are identifying in our imagination with. The scripture says

Now many of us use that same principle of imagination in different ways to harm ourselves, the propaganda of the pharmaceutical world is extremely effective and powerful in their agenda to make us identify with all the ailments that they advertise on television and on social media and it is working very effectively.

I have written this little book to make you aware of how powerful and influential your thoughts and imagination can be, Taking this knowledge and going forward in your life knowing that you have to be aware of what you see, what you think, what you say and what you allow your imagination to dwell on. If you don't take control and filter that which is going into your mind, believe me social media and the world system will, we have a tremendous responsibility to ourselves to make sure that what we expose ourselves to is of top quality content, our minds, ears, and eyes are not the garbage cans of the world system. Pete was an extremely successful marketing director for every successful company, jack prided himself on being the top innovator that the company had ever had, his ability to almost instantly come up with marketing or advertising idea was remarkable. One evening Jack was on his way home along a busy highway when is brand new Mercedes picked up a flat tire frustrated and annoyed Pete carefully navigated this new car to the shoulder of that busy highway, on examining every nook and cranny of his trunk Jack came to the frustrated realization that he did not have a Pete. Concerned about what time of day it was for him to call someone out to change his tire, Pete looked around frantically and in the distance he noticed the faint blinking lights of a small farmhouse, with no other alternative, he decided to walk to the farmhouse and ask the farmer if he might use his jack to change his tire. The farmhouse was way on the other side on a newly plowed field of red dusty sand, nonetheless Pete started his dusty journey by first

nervously climbing over the barbed wire fence, traversing the first obstacle successfully Pete started walking over them and through the deep plowed furrows of red earth slipping and stumbling he started to talking to himself by first calling himself every name that he could think of and enforcing how utter stupid and useless he was as a human being for not checking that he had a jack in this car. As the plowed field became more difficult to traverse Pete started to realize how dusty and dirty he was getting. His self-talk now shifted from how stupid of a person he was to what the farmer was going to think of him knocking at this door at that hour of the day, Pete thought to himself “we if I were the famer living so isolated and far from passing traffic and I heard a knock on the door at that time of night ,he thought to himself I wouldn’t open the door and even if I did open the door what would I see but a dirty sweaty frustrated stranger that was inconveniencing and interrupting my dinner to ask to use a car jack, first I don’t know him second he might be dangerous and third he might never bring my

jack back, with these thoughts and imaginations running wild in Pete head he became more frustrated and anger whispering to himself as he approached the farmhouse I would never give out my jack to a stranger especially on that was so dirty, him not having a jack is not my fault, Pete rehearsed these thoughts over and over as he walked up to the farm door, dusting himself off and standing up straight he with resolve knocked loudly on the solid wood farm door, hearing the farmer push back his chair and say with an inquiring voice who could this be at is hour Pete with even more determination waited for the door to open, the farm door swung heavily open and the farmer stepped forward to see who was at the door, Pete without hesitation and backed by his preconceived mental and emotional opinion of the events to unfold, blurted out in a loud angry voice “ just keep your jack ,I don’t need it anymore!” This is typical of every one of us who have ever faced a similar situation, we allow our thoughts to run unchecked and then we start to imagine that we think might take place. This is very dangerous as we then act on what our thoughts and

imaginations, and 99.9% of the time it is wrong. Self-talk is a big part of fueling the imagination to run rampant with crazy ideas. Have you ever listened to your self-talk, as you pain the picture on the canvas of your imagination? What pictures do you constantly paint of yourself through your self-talk? How often have you dammed a relationship by negative self-talk painting a false picture of what you imagined was said or done? How many times have you spoken yourself out of a good thing by painting that negative picture on the canvas of your imagination and then acted negatively. Start to check on your self-talk, check on the content of those words, where did you first hear them spoken and in what context were they used. Our thoughts and imaginations can be controlled and directed just like a horse is controlled and directed by the bit that is put in his mouth, it does not matter how big and powerful that horse is that small bit in his mouth brings him into submission. We too can bring our imaginations under control and under submission by becoming aware of what we expose ourselves to in word, thought and deed.

Spend your time cultivating positive thoughts take time to enrich your mind and cultivate your imagination by reading nonfiction books, books that teach and inspire i.e. Autobiographies and biographies books on history

Never have friends that are willing to accept you as you are, those are not true friends.

Become very selective with whom you spend and share your time with, make sure the people that you spend your time with are people of good character, honest, trustworthy and of positive substance that uplift and exhort you, people that encourage you and lift you up.

Choose friends that challenge you to grow and improve, choose friends that stimulate your thought processes and help you paint colorful and positive pictures on the canvas of your imagination. Choose friends that constantly drive you forward in making right decisions and don’t shoot down your dreams. Take time to meditate and wipe your imagination clean.

As we have already mentioned your ears and eyes are not garbage cans for the negative junk of the world.

and personal development, watch non-fiction movies and documentaries these steps will help you cultivate and turn negative thoughts and imaginations into positive thought and positively directed imaginations.

Each and every one of us has the responsibility to take control of our thoughts and direct them positively and get rid of negativity. Boundaries of thought and content of thought have to be set up; perimeters to stop strayed thoughts have to be set up. Uncontrolled thoughts are like taking your bloodhound for a walk in the woods, as long as he is on a short leash you have full control of him, he will instinctually pick up an interesting scent and start to follow it, but you hold the leash and exercise control that will only allow him to run just so far before you pull him back, he will constantly be picking up and wanting to follow different scents that will lead him in a thousand different directions, but you hold the leash and control his actions. Now think of what it would be like to take that same bloodhound into the woods without the leash, I would suspect that for the first 50 yards into the woods you might have some small amount of control by verbal

All that happened is that that bloodhound picked up a scent and with no restraint, he followed his instinct and imagined what was at the end of his nose and ran off into the unknown to find it. You know people who have an overactive unrestrained imagination, who are just like that bloodhound they tell the most unbelievable wild stories and imagining demons behind every door.

Let me give you an example, you are attending a compulsory sales meeting after work, if you are like me, I have never been enthusiastic to attend an after-work sales meeting especially compulsory sales meetings, but it's something that you have to do. Sitting in that meeting listening to the sales manager give his predictable neverending lecture on what, where and how we can all do things better if we just work together and create more

commands, but how long do you think it would take before that bloodhound picks up a scent that he has never smelt before and finds himself helpless and that he has no control over, and instinctively runs off into the wood not to be seen for days.

Sitting trying to show your enthusiasm and trying to no avail to pay attention you find that after the first grueling half hour that feels like three hours your mind begins to wonder, thinking about how long winded this guy is and how board you are getting, you start fidgeting with whatever you can find in your pockets you glance down at your watch and see that it is 7h30 you start thinking, I wonder how long he's going to continue, how long can this go on ?, at that precise moment you hear the faint rustle of a packet you are not sure what type of packet it is, a candy wrapper or a McDonalds wrapper but immediately on hearing it you think to yourself “man I'm feeling hungry, I wonder if there is a restaurant around here”, but as could be predicted the sales managers lecture just continues and continues and eventually you think to yourself “ if he continues, it will be so late I don't think there will be a restaurant open, that means that I have to go and look for another place to get something to eat I don't even know if any fast food places will be open after he is done, he is taking so long, your imagination kicks in and you start thinking, I knew a

Can you see that your thoughts if uncontrolled , will paint a picture on the canvas of your mind and allow your imagination to run rampant just like that bloodhound did when he picked up a scent and ran uncontrolled into the woods and was never seen again. So too are our thoughts, if we do not recognize the destructive ones and we don’t take them captive, if we do not pull down those thoughts and imaginations immediately and take control of them, they will influence

Take note of what makes you feel good after an interaction, if you have any regrets or any bad feelings or emotions after the activity, interaction or engagement with whatever it is then that

The major issues you will face when you make the decision to start taking control of and pull down negative thoughts and imaginations, that is not conducive to a positive productive life and you decide to replace them with positive life-giving thoughts and imaginations is, what measure are you going to use, what guide and what standard or benchmark will you base your action on. If you just rely upon your five scenes or leave it up to what you have been scholastically taught and school in or random thought you will land up in the same position and situation as you were before, much like a dog chasing its tail never getting anywhere but expending a lot of unproductive energy.

I would encourage you to follow the teachings and thought the direction of Jesus who came to promote Love, Repentance, and Forgiveness, consciously deciding to change wrong thinking and wrongdoing and starting to live a life of compassion and wisdom.

When you catch yourself wanting to entertain a negative thought use self-talk and say audibly “NO”, out loud! say “No you don’t, you are not welcome in my mind, I pull you down, I break your influence and stronghold over my mind and I cast you down “then immediately replace that thought with a positive life-giving thought that will raise your energy level and put you into a positive vibration. Within any 24 hour period, you and I are exposed to a myriad of negative life-changing thoughts, images and subliminal messages that have the potential to alter and even destroy our lives. Some of these influences come from things and people that are the nearest and dearest to us, situations that we find ourselves facing that are like the scent of a rabbit to the bloodhound irresistible not to flow and play out on the screen of your mind.

The secret to success in this situation is to purposely find and choose a better feeling though, a thought that is the opposite to that which you are thinking, if you for example briefly overhear a person mention your name in a conversation that you a not a part of, the first thing we as human being do is jump to conclusions and think the worst that they must be talking about you behind your Nowback.if you allow yourself to entertain that thought and through it up on the screen of your imagination and give it the time and energy that will bring those negative thoughts to life you will put yourself in a position for that thought to grow and become so dominate your thoughts and thinking that you will start acting out as if your first suspicions we founded.

Reaching for a better thought, a thought that gives you a better feeling, not only a better feeling emotionally but a better feeling physically, a thought that makes you feel as if you are in control of things in the physical world around you, as well as those things that are in your mind

that plague you and those situations that seem to be out of your control, a better thought that makes you feel happy and not sad, a better thought that makes you feel that you can and will be able to take control over those things that bother you making you feel anxious and fearful.Reaching for those better feeling thought takes a lot of effort, practice, and determination. Our minds are not trained to judge what thoughts are positive or negative what thoughts are beneficial or detrimental to our well Ourbeing.minds are trained and schooled through our five senses, we have never been allowed to exercise free thought, we have always been discouraged from pursuing independent thought patterns. We from a very early age have been forced into the thinking patterns of the culture and religious beliefs that we were exposed to and were born and raised in. Our secular education has been based entirely on the five physical senses, what we can see, what we can hear,

what we can touch, what we can smell and what we can taste. Our five physical senses are what the scientific world bases all the facts on, if it cannot be seen, cannot be tasted, cannot be smelt, cannot be heard or cannot be felt then there is no foundation for any scientific research, Seeing is believing as the old saying goes. Our minds work from the premise of self-preservation, throwing every thought positive or negative, threatening or safe onto the theater of our mind, then it searches to find the best way based on the heaps of archived experiences and stored knowledge accumulated through the five senses to keep us safe and secure then forcing us to act or react to the situation we are facing based on its So,findings.forus to be able to reach a better feeling thought we first have to be aware that the thoughts we are thinking and entertaining are the thoughts that are been produced by and through our educated thought processes that have been schooled and influenced by are five senses, now there is nothing wrong with what we
