REAL ALE TASTING NOTES Adnams, Juniper Saison - 4.1% | Suffolk

A pale golden saison with a spicy orange aroma, infused with Juniper spice, orange peel and a hint of liquorice.

Amber, Chocolate Orange Stout - 4% | Derbyshire

Created for a non real-ale drinking landlady we tweaked our Stout, adding yet more chocolate malt and Curacao orange peel to the boil. We add lots of vanilla pods during fermentation and yet more orange is added into each cask, followed by a long slow maturation. A traditional with a twist!

Boss, Brave - 5.5% | Wales

Bold, brazen, ballsy and brewed with American prized hops, this IPA has the volume turned up to just the right level without the hops being overwhelmingly deafening. Prepare to be dazzled by a stunning explosion of exotic citrus fruits and grapefruit, before a gripping, piney finish that’ll have you diving back for more.

Charnwood, Hello Sunshine - 3.9% | Leicestershire

A light golden ale with soft floral, vanilla notes and a tangerine, citrus kick from New Zealand hops. A perfect, easy-drinking, Summer Ale.

Conwy, Surfin’ IPA - 4.8% | Wales

An American style IPA with fruity hops on the nose with full flavoured bitterness.

Dancing Duck, Sapphire - 4.2% | Derby

Nice fruity aroma with a lot of citrus flavours, orange, lemon and pink grapefruit with a spicy finish.

Dark Star, Hylder Blonde - 4.2% | West Sussex

A delicate and lightly hopped beer with the fresh fruitiness of South Down’s elderflowers which are added after the boil to preserve their delicate aroma.

Gower, Lighthouse - 4.4% | Swansea

Lighthouse is a light, thirst quenching, continental style lager. It's packed with flavour. You will find Lighthouse a change to the clean style lagers as it offers a gentle but unmissable hoppiness of Saaz and Bobek.

Grafton, Apricot Jungle - 4.8% | Nottinghamshire

Made with the English Beata hops, this gives this beer it's unique apricot, honey and almond flavours which then finishes with a pleasant bitterness on the palate.

Long Man, Copper Hop - 4.2% | Sussex

Copper in colour and Hoppy by nature; Vienna and Premium British Caramalt provide a balanced backbone for the intense tropical fruit aromas.

Mordue, Workie Ticket - 4.5% | Newcastle

A tasty, complex beer with malt and hops throughout and a long, satisfying bitter finish. Well worthy of the title 'Champion Beer of Britain' award 1997.


REAL ALE TASTING NOTES Robinsons, Wizard - 3.7% | Stockport

This is the stuff of Cheshire legend (The Wizard of Alderley Edge), combined with 5 English hops, pale, wheat and magical crystal malts. The result is Wizard, a mythical amber ale with a spell-binding fruity, zesty palate‌and a tantalising hint of blackcurrant.

Roosters, Yankee - 4.3% | North Yorkshire

Light and easy-drinking, it’s a beer that showcases the floral and citrus fruit aromas of the Cascade hop, grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington State, USA, projected against a back drop of soft Yorkshire water and golden promise pale malt.

Salopian, Oracle - 4% | Shrewsbury

Oracle is a crisp, sparklingly sunflower gold ale with a striking hop profile. Dry and refreshing with a long citrus aromatic finish.

Sambrooks, Wandle - 3.8% | London

Golden in colour with spicy herbacrous aroma and light spice and lemons in the taste. Maris Otter pale and crystal malted barley used with Boadicea, Fuggles and Goldings hops.

Thornbridge, Jaipur - 5.9% | Derbyshire

A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Tyne Bank, Silver Dollar, 4.9% | Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

An award winning American Pale Ale features a glowing amber colour, robust malt base and west coast American hops. The solid malt backbone allows us to use more of these hops, which feature a higher alpha acid content, giving a bold citrus fruit flavour and a piney character quintessential of this style of beer. The bitterness is lasting but not overpowering.

Wellbeck Abbey, Henrietta - 3.6% | Nottinghamshire

A delicate Golden Ale packed full of wonderful hop character. Challenger hops provide the bitter note and balance perfectly with the citrus and fresh grassy nose of the Cascade and Hallertaur Brewers Gold varieties.

Wellbeck Abbey, Red Feather - 3.9% | Nottinghamshire Red Feather is an English ale and it blends a bitterness with caramel notes from its Crystal malts to create a moreish, malty amber beer.

York, Thai Hard - 4.3% | Yorkshire

Yippee Ki Yay! This 100% pilsner malt ale has a particularly pale colour and a very light, yet tasty malt palate. Dr Rudi hops from New Zealand lend their amazing lemongrass and pine notes alongside a good citrus bitterness. The main flavour punch however comes from the Thai flavour trio of root ginger, lemongrass and lime that are infused into the brew.


REAL CIDER TASTING NOTES Aston Manor, Knights Malvern Gold - 6% | Stourport-on-Severn A medium dry cider made with classic cider apples like Kingston Black, Yarlington Mill, Dabinett, and Harry Master’s Jersey.

Barbourne, Painted Lady Perry - 5%, Painted | Worcestershire

Lady Perry is a refreshing drink made only from the juice of freshly pressed perry pears. It is medium sweet to taste and light and fruity with some pleasing citrus notes. The varieties used in this blend include Morecroft, Blakeney Red, Yellow Huffcap and Winnal's Longdon. A real taste of the Worcestershire countryside.

Burnards, Monty’s Double - 5.2% | Norfolk

A delicious, easy to drink cider which is refreshing and medium sweet.

Cornwall Cider Co, Rhubarb & Custard - 4% | Cornwall

A sweet, easy drinking cider made with Rhubarb puree and real Vanilla extract. This modern twist on a classic, oozes with flavours and aromas making it easy to forget that apple is the main ingredient.

Fynburys, Blackberry and Nettle - 4% | Rutland

Fynburys Blackberry & Nettle Cider gives a unique flavour of the English countryside.

Fynburys, Rutland - 6% | Rutland

Drink Fynburys Rutland Cider at any time, but it’s especially good ice cold on those hot summer nights. 2013 Off Licence News International Cider Challenge Gold Medal.

Fynburys, Strawberry and Rhubarb - 4% | Rutland

This cider combines two of the fruits traditionally grown in the English countryside for hundreds of years. The sweetness of the strawberries combines with the sharpness of rhubarb to give a unique taste of the English summertime.

Gwynt Y Ddraig, Black Dragon - 7.2% | Wales

This special reserve cider has been hand crafted exclusively from cider apples grown by traditional methods in ageing orchards. Black Dragon is renowned and award winning, rich in colour, body and flavour with a fresh, fruity aroma.

Lilleys Cider Barn, Merry Monkey Scrumpy - 5% | Somerset

A medium scrumpy made with unfiltered bittersweet apple, full of character with a rich appley flavour.

Westons, Old Rosie Elderflower - 4% | Herefordshire

Cloudy Cider with the fragrant infusion of Elderflower, medium sweet with a muscat finish.


Adnams Copper House Dry Gin - 40%, £3.50

Adnams Copper House Dry Gin is made using the ‘London Dry Gin’ method, where the botanicals are added directly to the spirit in the copper pot still. The resultant spirit is then brought to bottling strength to achieve the fullest flavour. Adnams Gin is made with Juniper Berries, Orris Root, Coriander Seed, Cardamom Pod, Sweet Orange Peel and Hibiscus Flower.

Bronze medal winner at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2015 Served with a chunky orange wedge.

Warner Edwards London Dry Gin - 40%, £3.50

The complex, spicy flavour lends itself very well to a classic G&T, whilst its crisp and clean nature means that it works tremendously neat, or in short cocktails, such as a Dry Martini. IWSC Silver Award 2014 Served with a big wedge of lime.

Warner Edwards Elderflower Gin - 40%, £3.50

Inspired by Tom’s mother Adèle, this is a very special gin which only uses fresh, handpicked elderflower, and can therefore only be produced once a year. During peak elderflower season (late May to early June) we handpick elderflower from our farms in England and Wales. The petals are separated and added to batches of our Harrington Dry Gin. This is a fabulous and subtle infusion which is good enough to drink neat, but also makes a wonderfully floral and delicate G&T. Perfect for a summer evening, sipped with friends and family.

IWSC Silver 2015 Best served with Apple Juice and Elderflower Syrup.

Burleigh’s Gin - 40%, £3.50

This signature London Dry Gin is distilled with 11 of the world’s finest botanicals including silver birch, dandelion, burdock, elderberry and iris, incredibly smooth and balanced, it is perfect for a classic gin and tonic with a wedge of pink grapefruit.

Served with Pink Grapefruit and Rosemary.


Warner Edwards Sloe Gin - 40%, £3.50

We take our award-winning Harrington Dry Gin from the still at 89% abv and in this we steep beautiful sloe berries for one month, before adding sugar and natural spring water from Falls Farm. The result is a spicy and rich liqueur, with a deep fruity flavour. IWSC Double Gold 2015 Best served with Bitter Lemon.

Hendricks Gin - 41.4%, £3.75

Made with infusions of cucumber and rose petals for a wonderfully refreshing Gin with a delightful floral aroma. IWSC Bronze 2015 Served with peeled cucumber.

Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin - 40%, £3.50

Our most regal gin with real provenance, made using a crop of rhubarb that was originally grown in the kitchen gardens of Buckingham Palace during the reign of Queen Victoria, and has since had quite a journey. Half of the crop was sent to the Vice Regal Lodge in Dublin, which later became the President’s House. It has now made its way back to Crown Estate land in Lincolnshire, and is being organically grown by Fraser M Key. The remaining half left in the grounds of Buckingham Palace was destroyed during The War, which makes our rhubarb very special indeed.

Two Birds ‘Old Tom’ Gin - 40%, £3.50

A Great British Gin known as Mothers Ruin of the 18th Century predating the London Dry Gin of the Victorian era. A sweeter Gin ideal with tonic, cocktails or neat with a splash of iced water.

Served with chunks of fresh lime.
