OUR BRAND NEW ROOMS

Home is where the heart isTHE JAGDHOF:

Brand new Kessel, Ring, Zwölfer and Kartnall rooms

Just remodelled the Jagdhof suite

A HOMECOMING

When you feel the stress sliding off your shoulders. When you sink into the pillows, and the box-spring mattress hugs you in a loving embrace ... that’s when you know you’ve arrived in one of the Jagdhof’s new rooms.

Our aim is to convey a warm sense of homecoming, a place for your heart – in our rooms and throughout the hotel. That’s why the furnishings in our new rooms are as naturally relaxed as a stroll in the Stubai Valley. The solid wooden furniture made of reclaimed oak and stone pine, endows the rooms with a feeling of steadiness and calm. Soft natural fabrics such as wool offer a sense of wellbeing and comfort. The lighting has been designed to convey the warmth of a summer’s day in the Stubai mountains. Accessories are carefully chosen to ornament the rooms like the flowers of our Alpine meadows.

Energy

The natural vigour of stone harmonises with the energy of water and light, delicate like a ray of morning sun.

Nature

Guests are embraced by natural materials, as well as hues of sand, soil and forest – like a day in the mountains.

Freedom

Understated, natural design combines tradition and comfort to give you room to breathe.

RUBBING SHOULDERS WITH Home is where the heart is NATURE

What is the basic idea that underpins the interior design of the new rooms?

Armin and Christina Pfurtscheller:

We want our rooms to convey a sense of unspoilt nature, of the Stubai Valley’s simple charm – as well as reflecting the warmth of our hospitality. You can see this in the fabrics and materials we chose, as well as in the carefully selected accessories. Nature and hunting have always shaped our hotel, and we continue this tradition in the new rooms, but in a new, exciting, and subtle way.

How do you bring Stubai’s natural world into the rooms? Armin and Christina Pfurtscheller: In addition to natural fabrics; reclaimed oak and pine; the colours of sand, soil and forest convey a sense of unspoilt nature. Understated, the interiors are designed to provide relaxing, comfortable spaces that preserve a sense of place.

Wellbeing

Reclaimed oak and pine add sensory comfort and a natural feel to our new rooms.

In what way are the new rooms different?

Armin and Christina Pfurtscheller:

The room concept is subtly luxurious, the ambience classically elegant to provide maximum comfort while being refreshingly different. All the floors are oak, and the beds are of the highest, most exclusive quality. Brass, wool and stylish lamps by Diesel Living with Lodes accessorise the spaces. Our aim has been to allow people to feel at ease and make themselves at home while enjoying the exclusivity of the Jagdhof’s natural sense of luxury. That’s what we mean by comfortable living in our new rooms.
